In Lost Ark there are many hidden items in the areas that you can collect for your adventure journal. One of them is a short story about the “Knight in Shining Armor”. We will show you the locations of all three parts of the story.

I am generally a fan of systems that show me a steady progress in something that is worthwhile in the end. It is one of the reasons why I enjoy simply leveling classes.
It is even better when the tasks in the progress system are as varied as in the Adventure Folio in Lost Ark. From the moment I unlocked it in the game, I was “hooked”.
I immediately knew I would spend hours trying to reach 100% in every area… or at least I would try to get as far as possible.
The system is so simple: It combines the exploration of the world and its lore with the enjoyable feeling of making good progress with every little discovery. And that already happens at very low levels.
With all the question marks, bars, and percentages, my fingers just itch. And the world bosses are the icing on the cake.
It starts with you getting smaller rewards like healing potions, feathers for resurrection, or gifts for NPCs. And later it goes over to boost potions for status values, engraving books, or even skill potions that give you additional points for your tripod skill builds.
Additionally, there are small lore snippets from the descriptions of the items and in the book that reveal more about the world and its history. Right at the beginning, the fragments of the Regulus statue tell a cool little story about a master sculptor who (apparently) goes insane and foretells the coming invasion of demons.
And while the first percentages in the book are quickly reached, you have to work for the higher levels. I often caught myself staying longer in an area because I wanted to get the last few percent until the next reward.
For me, it was a very cool change in the pacing of many modern MMORPGs, which always rush to the endgame. However, it also contributed to the endgame and did not feel like a waste of time.

The rewards apply to all characters on a server, and you do not have to grind anew for each individual character.

Why are the servers going down? Since Lost Ark was released, the new MMORPG has been struggling with long queue times and server issues. During prime time on February 12, over 1.3 million people were playing the action game simultaneously.

When is Sons of the Forest being released? The release for Sons of the Forest is planned for May 20, 2022. Currently, the only known platform is PC. Versions for PlayStation and Xbox are not planned yet.
The Forest was released a full 4 years after the PS4 release, mainly because an indie studio stands behind the top title. If you want to play Sons of the Forest on PS5 (or PS6), you might have to wait a bit.
If you’re currently not in the mood (anymore) for Dying Light 2 and feel Sons of the Forest is taking too long, you should keep an eye on two more titles.
Pioner combines survival with MMORPG in a setting reminiscent of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The focus is on PvE and the story revolves around an island in a post-apocalyptic Soviet Union. The game is expected to come out “early 2022,” so by April. However, information is still lacking.
In V Rising you are a vampire and have your own castle, from which you venture out to collect blood. With that, you will become stronger and are meant to become the “next Dracula.” V Rising focuses on an action combat system similar to ARPGs with magic, weapons, and mounted combat in both PvE and PvP. The game is expected to launch or start a beta sometime in 2022. A specific date is missing.
The new MMORPG Lost Ark was released on February 11th for free for all players. After some initial difficulties and a slightly delayed launch, the player numbers are regularly breaking records.

On February 12th at 9 PM, Lost Ark attracted over 1.3 million concurrent players in the MMORPG. And that was just through Steam. There has only been one other title on the platform that has been able to achieve this.
Following PUBG with 3.3 million concurrent players, Lost Ark now ranks directly behind it, currently with 1.325 million concurrent fans. It has now also surpassed Dota 2 and CSGO, which are now behind the MMORPG.
Lost Ark is the first MMORPG to exceed the one million player mark on Steam. However, this unfortunately shows in the waiting queues. Currently, the servers are absolutely full, and new players are having a hard time starting at all.
As a note: The player numbers also include data from players who are in a queue. Here, the game time already starts counting, even if you can’t really play.
What happened before Lost Ark? After serious technical problems on launch day, the game could not go live until several hours after the planned release.
Although the server launch for us was already in the middle of the night, around 1 AM, Lost Ark attracted an incredible 984,000 concurrent players. This was already about 70,000 more than the biggest MMORPG competitor, New World, had achieved at its peak. However, it should be mentioned that New World had to be purchased while Lost Ark can be played for free.
But the number could not reach that magical million yesterday. About an hour after the release, player numbers began to decline again. Nevertheless, Lost Ark already achieved about 5 times more players than the developer expected.

Is this the first MMORPG that could achieve this? No, but it is the first that has achieved it in a verifiable and recognizable way on the Steam platform. According to its own statements, the Asia MMORPG MIR 4 reached over a million concurrent gamers, but not solely through Steam, rather spread across all platforms.
This is also conceivable for the other major MMORPGs, but there are no exact numbers for FFXIV and WoW.
Successful on Twitch: Lost Ark is breaking records, not just on Steam. The game is also taking off on Twitch. Already twice, on February 8th and February 11th, the category Lost Ark attracted over a million viewers.
Also, on February 12th at 9 PM, Lost Ark was again the biggest category on Twitch with over 600,000 viewers.
At 9 PM, Lost Ark could excite 1,325,305 concurrent players.
How is the game received? On Steam, the game is doing quite well. From the 96% positive ratings before the launch and all the problems on February 11th, it is now a bit removed from that. With 18,739 reviews, Lost Ark currently holds the “Mostly Positive” stamp, and 73% of the ratings are positive.
Many negative reviews, however, refer to the ongoing server issues, waiting queues, and shop crashes occurring in-game. A major point of criticism is also that servers are sometimes locked for new players, preventing them from playing with their friends.

Lost Ark is an MMORPG, but it uses a typical hack and slash control scheme. You move with the mouse and also perform normal attacks using it. At the start, you choose a method of control. We at MeinMMO reveal how you can change it later on.
How do you change the control in Lost Ark? Basically, you always have to move with one mouse button and pick up items while using the other mouse button to attack. This cannot be changed.
Once you have decided on a variant at the beginning, either attack with right-click or attack with left-click, you can change the setting at any time in the hotkeys. However, the option is somewhat hidden:
First, press Escape and then select “Settings”.
Then navigate to “Hotkeys” on the right side and then “Basic Control”.
There, in the fourth option, you have a checkmark for “Attack with Right-Click”. Depending on whether you have activated this checkmark or not, the control changes.
However, you cannot directly change the mouse buttons, which has already led to some confusion.
This box determines how your mouse buttons function.
What other settings can be made? Basically, you can remap many keys, including:
Attack with the keyboard
Automatic movement
The various skills
The hotkeys for using items
The basic menu navigation
However, options such as hiding the UI (always “ALT+X”), showing loot names (always “ALT”), and interacting via keyboard (always “G” and “H”) cannot be changed.
How do you even fight in Lost Ark? You move with mouse clicks (either right or left) through the game world. With the other mouse button, you perform a basic attack. This attack can also be executed using the keyboard (by default the “C” key).
Already in the tutorial, you receive a handful of abilities that you can use with the keys “Q, W, E, R, A, S” or any other configuration of your choice. Potions and items are assigned to the keys “F1” and the numbers 1-9.
Slicing through hordes of monsters and kiting plays an important role in Lost Ark’s combat system.
