By now, there are hundreds of Shinys in Pokémon GO. To help you keep track, we show you a current Shiny list for 2022 with all Shiny chances.
What is this Shiny list? Here you see all the Shinys that can be caught in Pokémon GO. This list is regularly updated so you can see at a glance which Shinys are already in the game. The list was last updated on January 6, 2022.
Additionally, we have always noted the Shiny rate, so you can see how rare the Shinys actually are.
How can you recognize Shinys? The shimmering Pokémon always look a little different. Sometimes they are just a little brighter or darker – sometimes they have a completely different color.
You can also always recognize a Shiny by whether the Pokémon emits stars upon clicking. If that happens, you have a Shiny in front of you.
All Shinys and Rates in 2022 – Chances for Shiny Pokémon
This is important regarding the Shiny chances: No Shiny rate is 100% confirmed. They are only based on assumptions and analyses by players.
Some Pokémon actually have better Shiny chances than others. This includes Scyther or Onix. However, they are rarer to encounter in the wild.

Shinys from Raids and Field Research – Trading Shinys
Can you encounter Pokémon elsewhere? Many Pokémon on the list can also be found in quests or raids. However, these rotate regularly, which is why we have not listed them here.
Likewise, there are many legendary Pokémon that can be obtained from raids but are currently unavailable.
Can Shinys be traded? Shinys can also be traded through a special trade. However, you can only make one special trade per day, which means you can only trade one Shiny per day. The trade costs significantly more Stardust than trading regular Pokémon.

Is there a Shiny trick? Here you can find many Shinys
Are there tricks for many Shinys? You cannot manipulate Shinys. It always remains a matter of luck when catching a Shiny.
However, there are events like Community Day or raid days when Shinys appear much more frequently. There you can then much more easily get the shimmering specimens.

Can you increase the Shiny chance? No, unlike in other Pokémon games, you cannot increase the chance of encountering shiny Pokémon here.

Some of the Pokémon on the list cannot be caught in Germany. This is because they are regional Pokémon.
