In the MMORPG World of Warcraft, the final boss of the raid Sunwell was released in 2008: Kil’jaeden, an important figure in the story of WoW. Back then, it took 62 days for the first guild to defeat him. In 2022, Kil’jaeden returned as the final boss in WoW Classic. He was dead after 52 minutes. This is not only due to the fact that players are much better today – no, Blizzard also resorted to tricks back then.
What was WoW like back then?
The raid “Sunwell” was a strange story in WoW back then. Because actually, the expansion “The Burning Crusade” felt finished with the death of Illidan Stormrage on June 5, 2007 by the legendary guild Nihilum and WoW fell into a slumber.
But Blizzard brought a major update with “Fury of the Sunwell” on March 25, 2008, to not leave fans without new content for a year and a half until “Wrath of the Lich King” would be released in November 2008.
The “Sunwell Plateau” brought tough opponents in the raid, plus the last 3 bosses were “timegated”, meaning you couldn’t immediately access the final bosses:
The story of WoW was also shaped by bugs:

Due to timegates, bosses held out for more than 2 months in 2008
How did the bosses die back then? The bosses of the raid held out for a long time back then (via method.gg):
The raid opened on March 25 and the first 3 bosses died relatively quickly: Kalecgos, Brutallus, and Felmyst were defeated within 2 days after the raid opened.
The “Eredar Twins” only appeared on April 8 and died on April 10.
The boss M’Uru appeared on April 29 and died on May 4 – he held out for quite a while.
The final boss Kil’jaeden only appeared on March 20, 2008, and died on May 25.
From the start of the raid to its end, Kil’jaeden held out for 62 days and provided variety. You can watch the kill from back then in the video (via YouTube).
How is this commented? It is seen quite sarcastically. On reddit , people make fun of the fact that Kil’jaeden, a powerful “Demon Lord of the Burning Legion”, slaughterer of a thousand worlds, only holds out so briefly.
People then mockingly say: It’s because he has no legs in this version – everyone knows that the legs are what makes Kil’jaeden truly powerful.
The biggest German Twitch streamer, Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris, has been planning to host his own tournament in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 since April. Some well-known personalities from Twitch and YouTube were involved. However, MontanaBlack had to interrupt the tournament after nearly 2 hours due to DDoS attacks on the server.
What kind of tournament was it?In MontanaBlack’s “Black Ops 2” tournament, 8 teams of 4 players each were supposed to compete against each other. The team leaders were 8 well-known content creators from YouTube and Twitch, who could bring in 3 more people. They played against each other for 8,000 Euros.
On May 14th, at 4 PM, it started. You can see the exact teams in MontanaBlack’s tweet:
How was the preparation? The servers were hosted by Plutonium in America. However, the setup turned out to be more difficult than expected, and the host had to set everything up individually. Because of this, the tournament was even postponed (via Twitter).
YouTuber HapticRush and his colleagues also helped set up the servers, moderated them, and got everything running. They tested the servers for a month to see if everything was stable, Haptic shared on the tournament evening.

DDoS attacks force MontanaBlack to cancel the tournament
How did the tournament go? Almost not at all. At first, it seemed everything was running smoothly. But then the lags started, and the participants complained about pings between 300 and 400. Initially, it wasn’t clear what was causing this, as the servers and internet were stable.
Eventually, it became clear that DDoS attacks were likely being executed on the IP address. For nearly 2 hours, Haptic, his colleagues, and MontanaBlack tried to get the tournament up and running.

Eris had already lost hope after about an hour: “When it runs, it runs. If we have problems again, we will cancel the tournament.” And that’s exactly what happened. The streamer canceled the tournament and said:
There’s nothing we can do now, chat. This is very, very sad. (…) Haptic invested so much time and love into this with his team, and this is an absolute disaster for him right now.
HapticRush was visibly affected after investing so much time, and he left the stream for a while. MontanaBlack, on the other hand, appeared to take it relatively calmly:
I’m being honest, guys, I’m used to this. You know how it is, DDoS has always been a problem. (…) On montanablack.de, for example, we were also regularly DDoS’d when we had events.
MontanaBlack
He further urged his Twitch colleagues not to get upset about it, as the DDoS attackers want exactly that. He then continued with his stream, playing Fall Guys and other games with some participants of the tournament.
Is there a reschedule for the tournament? Probably not for now. MontanaBlack only mentioned at the end: “The ‘Black Ops 2’ tournament is unfortunately canceled for now. (…) It is what it is. We can’t change anything now and we won’t be able to change anything. Wipe your mouth and move on – it’s that simple.”
In Fortnite there have been many skins from influencers, streamers, YouTubers, and even stars since the release of the “Icons Series”. Epic has now developed a new icon skin that is set to be released soon. However, find out why this one belongs to the worst YouTuber in Fortnite here.
Who is Ali-A? Alastair Aiken, known as Ali-A or Matroix, is one of the most famous British YouTubers. He creates videos around Call of Duty and Fortnite and currently has 17.5 million subscribers (as of May 17, 2022). However, many players disdain Ali for his tactics, how he brings in the clicks for his videos.
Exaggerated thumbnails of his videos accompanied by unnecessary and misplaced red arrows with distorted faces are what this is about – also known as clickbait.
Every YouTuber has heard of it and some practice it as well, to easily and quickly attract many viewers to their videos. But Alastair has redefined clickbait.
Ali-A has taken clickbait to a new level
What has Ali-A done wrong? The 28-year-old YouTuber has a bad reputation in the Fortnite community. On reddit it was discussed why Ali-A is so hated.
A clickbait image that Ali often uses
It’s not only the exceedingly exaggerated images of his videos that encourage clicks, but also his videos that do not deliver what is promised in the title.
Although Ali does not clickbait as much anymore, this has been ingrained in the memory of many viewers. Many know that when a video with a red arrow appears on his channel, it is worth considering twice whether to click on it at all.
Ali’s skin is currently the best of the Icons Series: iFireMonkey, a well-known leaker, has listed all the cosmetic items and styles of his skin. These show a huge amount of combination possibilities that players will have after purchase.

Ninja had long begged for his own skin and then received it after months of requests. Alastair, however, receives a better outfit with cooler items and without any request from his side.
What do you think about the fact that Ali has been able to snag the best icons skin so far? Do you find it crazy that even Ninja, the poster boy of Fortnite, received a worse one? Feel free to let us know in the comments how you feel about it!

In Pokémon GO, the “Alola Season” is currently running with several special research tasks. You should complete them on time to secure a bonus.
These are the research tasks: Since early March, the “Alola Season” has been ongoing. Over the past few weeks, it has included four special research tasks. When you open your game now, you should see all four and possibly have already completed them.
Theoretically, you have unlimited time to complete these tasks. Nevertheless, you should hurry a bit. More specifically: By June 1, you should have completed all four.
Bonus research is available starting May 25
Why you should finish soon: If you fully complete the four research tasks by June 1, 2022, you will unlock a bonus research for free: The “End of Season Special Research.”
Basically, it is already available starting May 25 and can be collected until June 1 – trainers in the Pokémon GO subreddit also point this out (via reddit).
So, if you finish the other research tasks by May 25, you can immediately start the fifth research task. What the research will yield is still not known.
What if I can’t complete the research tasks? You can still obtain the completion research even if you do not finish the other four tasks. However, you will need to buy a ticket in the in-game shop, which costs around 5 euros. Alternatively, you can skip the 5th research.
Accordingly, it makes sense to complete the 4 research tasks beforehand.
The Water Festival is currently happening in Pokémon GO
Are the research tasks difficult? Generally, all four research tasks are relatively easy to complete and sometimes overlap. In the current Poni research, you will need to battle Team Rocket, but there is a trick to help you finish faster.
Often, you need to catch multiple monsters of a specific type – but this is usually quickly done if you look around a bit. The Poni research requires some water-type monsters, which you can easily catch as long as the Water Festival is still running.
Additionally, you will need to take a snapshot of a water-type monster. Some trainers reported issues here, but there is an easy solution.
In addition, there are further tasks in the other research, such as sending gifts, winning raids, or collecting kilometers and hearts for your buddies. None of it is rocket science – just keep an eye on the timing to secure the bonus research.
Have you completed the research tasks already? Let us know in the comments!

Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is a new game for the Nintendo Switch. MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch does not own the console and has few connections to Nintendo. However, the latest video about the game excites him.
What makes the video so special? The commentator! Because the match that Nintendo published on its YouTuber channel is commented on by Frank Buschmann. And Buschi is, for me, one of the best and most emotional commentators in German football.

Mario Strikers: Battle League Football video with Frank Buschmann
Since I was a small child, I have been a football fan. As a native of Gelsenkirchen, you hardly escape that. However, when you follow a match for 90 minutes, you mainly see boring passes.
However, in Mario Strikers: Battle League Football, everything happens in quick succession. Accordingly, the commentary by Frank Buschmann is also entertaining. The constant action captivates me. If I had a Nintendo Switch, I would probably have bought the game after this video and pre-ordered it immediately.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
What exactly kind of game is this? Battle League Football is the third part of the football series featuring the little plumber Mario.
The game does not aim to be realistic, like FIFA, but focuses on fast action, boosts, and random items like the banana or the green shell, which you know from Mario Kart.
Two teams with five characters each play against each other. You can play alone, in pairs, or even with up to eight players in local co-op.
The game also has an online function and even the “Club Mode”, where you can create and play through your own season with up to 20 friends.
When will it be released? Mario Strikers: Battle League Football will celebrate its release on June 10, 2022. It will be released for the Nintendo Switch and costs 59.99 euros.
Does the trailer appeal to you as well? Have you had the game on your radar or is such an unrealistic football game not your thing? Feel free to write it in the comments.
The Cowboy Epic Red Dead Redemption 2 is a huge hit for publisher Take-Two and developer Rockstar. However, the online offshoot, Red Dead Online, was supposed to be further developed. Since 2021, there have been no updates: Fans have been trying to force a statement about the future of the MMO with the hashtag #SaveRedDeadOnline since January 2022. The statement did come and made brief hope, but the bubble quickly burst.
This is the situation:
Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold incredibly well. It was a huge hit on PS4 and Xbox One in 2018 and came out on PC in 2019. Take-Two is said to have sold over 44 million units of the Cowboy Epic by now.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is not being developed with DLCs but is finished after the campaign. However, the online mode, Red Dead Online, was supposed to receive updates and expansions for years. Just like GTA 5 was not developed further, but GTA Online was.
The last DLC of Red Dead Online is now almost a year old:
This was the fans’ idea: Although Red Dead Online has been poorly supplied with updates, it is still a beautiful game, as it is based on Red Dead Redemption 2, which has incredibly high production values. Red Dead Redemption 2 has an impressive score of about 97% on Metacritic (PS4, Xbox One). It is considered a milestone in gaming for its graphics and atmosphere.
There are some thousands of people who love spending their time in the prairie, riding around and experiencing adventures. Especially during the Corona crisis, many used Red Dead Online as a destination to escape from the gray reality. Because when you put on a mask in Red Dead Online, something exciting happens afterward, like a bank robbery, whereas in reality, not much exciting happens when you put on a mask.
The fans have been putting pressure on Rockstar since January 2022 with a campaign #SaveRedDeadOnline via Twitter and Reddit for more content.
CEO says: Take-Two continues to support Red Dead Online
This is what the CEO says: In an interview with IGN, the head of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, was asked about the campaign. He said:
“Rockstar Games is talking about the updates that are coming, and we are working on a damn lot of stuff at Rockstar Games. I’ve heard the frustration, and I’m honored that they want more content. Everything else will be said by Rockstar in due time.”
When asked whether Take-Two is still planning to support Red Dead Online, it was said: That is still the plan.
How could one interpret that? One could interpret it as “updates are in the works and something is coming”. That was enough reason for hope that new updates for Red Dead Redemption 2 would actually be released.

“The joy was nice while it lasted,” a fan writes about the new development.
CEO only meant that the servers would remain online
This was the cold shower: After the interview was published, however, a few hours later, the clarification came: The commitment to continue support for Red Dead Online was “solely related to the online servers,” it was now said by Take-Two. Updates would be solely Rockstar’s responsibility.
The boss of Take-Two, Harry Strauss Zelnick (64).
This is the reaction: On Twitter, the fans of Red Dead Online initially showed hope and then disappointment.
It seems to be assumed that Red Dead Online will be put into a “maintenance mode”: This means that the servers will remain online, but no relevant new content will be released.
It almost looks like Rockstar is turning completely to GTA 6:
League of Legends has released the new patch 12.10 on the test servers. This update will make some significant changes to the game, primarily weakening healing and shields. More than 30 items will be revised.
What is the goal of the update? For several years, players have complained in LoL that the fights end far too quickly. The damage is too high, while healing and shields have been severely strengthened to counter the high damage.
However, Riot does not want to establish a meta where tanks live indefinitely and no kills happen in the first 15 minutes. This balancing act will likely be challenging, although the mentioned changes have initially received positive feedback from the community.

When will patch 12.10 be released? The new update is expected to be released on May 25.
What do you think about the planned adjustments? Are the adjustments to healing and damage enough to solve the problem, and are you concerned that Riot might weaken healing too much and damage too little? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
Recently, Riot had to adjust a champion because a Twitch streamer used a crazy suicide tactic:
On Amazon, a TV is a bestseller. You can currently get the TV for less than 200 euros. But what can the device do, and is the TV suitable for PS5 and Xbox Series X?
What are these bestsellers? The retailer Amazon creates so-called “bestsellers” for various products and categories. These numbers are based on the most orders and are updated hourly by Amazon. Therefore, it is easy to see which products are currently popular among potential customers.
Currently, a TV is among the bestsellers on Amazon. We have taken a look at what kind of device this is.
The TV for 200 euros lacks many gaming features
What kind of device is it? The TV is the Hisense A4EG. Hisense is a Chinese electronics company that offers various products like TVs and refrigerators.
The device is available in both a 32-inch and a 40-inch variant. The devices use the “Vidaa U” user interface. Externally, it resembles Android TV but has some peculiarities. You can install the most important apps like Netflix, Amazon Video, or Disney+.
The “Vidaa U” user interface resembles its competitors closely.
What technology is in the device? The device is available in both 32 and 40 inches, but you should not choose the 32-inch model. The smaller TV only offers a resolution of 1366×768 (HD), which is hardly contemporary today. The 40-inch variant at least offers Full HD (1920×1080).
Otherwise, both TVs are identical: They both offer a refresh rate of 60 Hz and use HDMI 1.4. The TVs also have neither HDR nor Bluetooth. On the back, you will find two HDMI ports and additionally two USB ports. However, these ports only offer 2.0. That is also only conditionally contemporary.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
The TV is only conditionally worth it for PS5 and Xbox and is more of a secondary TV
Is the device worth it for PS5 and Xbox Series X? If you want to get the full potential out of your new console, then this model is not worth it for you: You won’t get HDMI 2.1, no Bluetooth, and you’ll get a maximum resolution of Full HD.
While the device does offer a gaming mode, the latency is stated by the manufacturer at 50 ms, which is above the competition. This is still acceptable and sufficient for games, but values of 35 ms and less are recommended (via dein-fernseher.de).
If you are instead looking for a secondary TV for your guest room or your Xbox Series S, then the Hisense TV might be worth a look. However, you should choose the 40-inch model with Full HD, even though the 170 euros for the 32-inch model sounds tempting.
Recommended TVs for PS5 and Xbox: If you are looking for a TV that meets the requirements of your PS5 or Xbox Series X, then take a look at the following purchasing advice. Here we explain what to consider when buying a TV:
In many games, cheating is a major problem. A well-functioning anti-cheat system is essential nowadays. But what if the cheat cannot be detected because it is not a downloaded software but rather a feature of the monitor?MeinMMO author Dariusz Müller has tested the special features of his gaming monitor for you.
Which monitor is being tested? The tested monitor is the M27Q from Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer Gigabyte. In addition to special gaming features, the monitor is characterized by the following aspects:
Image quality: QHD
Resolution: 2,560 x 1,440p
Screen diagonal: 27 inches (68.58 cm)
Panel type: IPS
Refresh rate: 170 Hz
Response time: 0.5 ms
Not Curved
What unfair features does the monitor have? Technology is constantly evolving, and gaming equipment is acquiring more and more extravagant features. This also applies to monitors. I will show you 3 unfair features that the tested gaming monitor has.
In which game were the features tested? The three unfair features were tested in games where PvP is played. The test was intended to show whether the features are indeed unfair in PvP duels or prove to be useless. The test was most meaningful in the following games:
What is the crosshair? A well-known and accordingly widespread feature of modern gaming monitors is the integrated crosshair. This is a simple crosshair displayed in the center of the screen.
The integrated crosshair is not influenced by the movement of the in-game character and is always perfectly centered. It is also available in games where there is usually no crosshair.
How did the crosshair test go? In Valorant and Rainbow: Six Siege, the crosshair is useless, as there are crosshairs in these games. However, in Hell Let Loose, the crosshair proved to be very unfair.
Hell Let Loose is a hardcore shooter and is characterized mainly by the fact that the game dispenses with all aids. There is no crosshair, and the large, chaotic battlefields of World War II in which you play in Hell Let Loose provide few clues to accurately predict the height of an opponent’s head.
Especially in moments when an enemy suddenly jumped out of a trench in front of me, the crosshair proved to be a powerful tool. I could quickly aim for the enemy’s head without aiming down sights. Then I just had to glance through the sights and fire.
The crosshair gave me a noticeable unfair advantage in Hell Let Loose. Anyone who wants to play fairly should stay away from this feature. I assert that if the existence of the crosshair could be proven, it could lead to bans in many games.
Why is the crosshair unfair? If a game does not have a crosshair, it can be quite difficult for some players to focus on and keep an eye on enemies, interesting points, cover, or other targets.
Generally, you want to aim for the head of your opponent in shooters. But your opponent wants to do the same. In a fight, it comes down not only to precision of shots but also to who is faster at aiming for the opponent’s head.
In many games, it is therefore important to know at what height the opponent’s head is located. You place your crosshair at that height even when no one is around.
When an enemy player appears in front of you, you are faster at aiming for the enemy’s head than if your crosshair points at your feet. The center of your crosshair is also the center of your sight.
This is what the monitor’s crosshair looks like.
However, if you do not have a crosshair, it is much more difficult to assess at what height you need to aim before you look through the sights. This leads to many players having to readjust after they have aimed.
If you have a crosshair in a game without one, you have an unfair advantage. Parade examples of affected games are hardcore shooters like Escape from Tarkov, Hell Let Loose, or Squad.
What is the aim magnifier? As the translation reveals, the aim magnifier is a magnifying glass. More precisely, this feature is a magnifying glass for the sights.
Unlike the screen magnifier in Windows, the aim magnifier does not enlarge the entire screen by X-hundred percent, but only increases the zoom in a rectangular area where your sights are shown in shooters.
There are 4 settings for the magnifier
The strength of the zoom (x1.2; x1.5; and 2.0)
The size of the zoomed rectangle (small, medium, large)
A frame that separates the enlarged rectangle from the rest of the screen, so you can see red boxes on your screen even without software (optional in red or white)
The position: If you do not want the magnifier to be centered in a game because your crosshair or similar is not in the middle of the screen, you can easily move it.
How did the test go? In Valorant, contrary to my expectations, the magnifier proved to be a disadvantage. The advantage of magnification was hardly noticeable in combat at longer distances and a significant disadvantage at close distances.
In Rainbow Six: Siege, I particularly felt that it could be an unfair advantage, especially with the already nasty spawn peeks. However, the necessity of the magnifier in Ubisoft’s tactical shooter is not given.
Everything that works with the magnifier in Rainbow Six: Siege works wonderfully without it. However, the usual movement and mindless orientation through the map suffered due to the increased zoom.
I noticed how I bumped into small objects on the ground because distances and speeds seemed completely altered and were harder to gauge.
Why is the magnifier unfair? In Hell Let Loose and other games with large distances, however, the magnifier proved to be extremely unfair. Since the shooter is set in World War II, sights with a twofold magnification are not standard.
I now had this magnification on weapons that do not have a sight. With the magnifier, I could look over wide fields and spot enemies much better. Not only did I see this as extremely unfair, but also my teammate, who had to laugh loudly with every kill.
I was turned into a sniper by my monitor, even though I was playing as a medic. Even enemies that hid like wild Pokémon in the tall grass could see me while opponents sometimes did not even have the luxury of a sight.
I deliberately refrained from playing classes with stronger weapons, such as a machine gun. Since I already felt how strong the magnifier is with the medic’s single-shot weapon, I couldn’t reconcile the test with an automatic weapon in good conscience.
I am sure that if the admins of the server we were playing on in Hell Let Loose had known about my test, it would have been my last day on the server. I could not have complained about the ban.
What is the black equalizer? The black equalizer is a feature designed to make dark objects, people, and corners more visible.
For example, if an opponent is sitting in a dark, poorly lit corner in a shooter, they should be made more visible by using this feature.
How did the test go? It is worth noting positively that the black equalizer indeed brightens dark areas. But I can also achieve the same effect on Instagram by fiddling around with the contrast and brightness slider.
The black equalizer essentially does the exact same thing. Logically, my amateur image processing on Instagram does not help me in a shooter on PC. Furthermore, the black equalizer works almost equally “well” in nearly every game.
In general, the black equalizer is not useful, as it always negatively affects the game’s contrasts. Nevertheless, you can use this feature to gain a minimal advantage.
The situations in which it helped me in my test were, however, extremely rare, as nowadays many games require good lighting of the maps, and developers consciously pay attention to this.
Why is the black equalizer still an unfair advantage? When you play a game with many dark corners on the maps and opponents are often overlooked in the dark, all players suffer from the poor lighting.
However, if you use the black equalizer to brighten the darkness of a game and accept the poorer contrasts in order to perform as well as possible, you have an advantage over the other players.
You suddenly see opponents where they cannot see you and can therefore play angles that surprise your enemies. It is an unfair advantage.
Cheating is one of the biggest problems in numerous games and especially a challenge for developers when unfair tools are not detected.
In addition to special features like crosshairs or magnifiers in gaming monitors, there are also hardware cheats that players have built themselves. MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann reported, for example, on an Overwatch player who combined a Lego motor with his mouse.

Level boosts are often viewed negatively in the gaming community, but they have become an integral part of many MMORPGs. Do you usually use this mostly paid “level option”? Let us know.
These are level boosters: The constant growth of one’s character is actually indispensable in MMORPGs. Whether it occurs in the form of linear levels, through mastering skill trees, or various hybrid forms of both, leveling is simply part of the experience.
Nevertheless, many MMORPGs offer their players the option to skip this very process. Level boosters allow players to either completely skip the leveling phase or significantly increase the EXP gained.
This option is usually paid, and there are hardly any MMORPGs left that do not sell level boosts. Even MMORPGs like WoW or FFXIV, which generally require a subscription to play, offer their players the opportunity to quickly level up their characters.
Benefits of such level boosters include the ability to skip the often boring leveling process and jump straight into the action-packed endgame. This is particularly convenient for twinks, whom you would otherwise have to grind through the same quests and areas repeatedly.
A drawback is that developers may not put much effort into making that boring leveling process more interesting. Or they may even intentionally make it long and tedious so that players invest money in level boosts.
Accordingly, gamers have very mixed opinions about the concept of level boosts. Some believe that they have no place in an MMORPG and are pay-to-win. Others don’t care, while still others find level boosters very convenient and use them gladly.
And what about you?
This is how you can vote: You can cast your vote in our survey tool below. The vote counts once and cannot be undone.
And what is your opinion on level boosts? Is it a good service, a “necessary evil” or pure money-making on the part of the publishers? Have you ever used boosts yourself? In which games and under what circumstances was that? Tell us in the comments.
In League of Legends: Wild Rift the Wild Tour took place in Brazil at the beginning of May. There, the strongest teams from the region competed to qualify for the World Cup. However, during the tournament, an unpleasant incident occurred, which Riot Games responded to with a ban and fine.
What did the coach do exactly? OMEGHA ESPORTS head coach Peterson “Wonder” Castelanno reportedly made an obscene gesture towards the opposing team. Riot Games does not specify further in the official statement, but from comments on Twitter, it can be inferred that he may have shown the middle finger to the opposing team.
This unpleasant action took place during the finals of the Wild Tour on May 8th. Wonder’s team won this in a close duel 4:3 against Keyd Stars.
What is the penalty? From Riot Games’ perspective, paragraphs 14.1.2 and 14.1.3 of the tournament regulations were violated. These include the regulation of standards of conduct for players and teams.
He has to pay a fine of 5,000 BRL (approximately 950 Euros). However, the average income in Brazil is only about 480 Euros. He will have to pay roughly 2 average monthly salaries (approximately 8,000 Euros in Germany).
He is banned from participation for two match days – regardless of when these take place.
However, the suspension only applies to regional tournaments. He can participate as usual in the World Cup in June in Singapore, for which his team has qualified.

How did the coach react to the suspension? On Twitter, the coach shared the tweet from Riot Games and only commented with “Oh my God” and later ironically “I have already been arrested”.
Additionally, he likes statements like “200,000 BRL earned to pay 5,000. I think that’s a good deal” or “One has to be a little emotional”.
On the pages of OMEGHA ESPORTS, however, there is no statement regarding the incident.
In 2021, a similar incident occurred in Brazil, where the Wild Rift team from TSM was penalized with similar sanctions for also showing the middle finger (via DotEsports). Back then, a final also ended narrowly with 4:3.
When do the world championships take place? Anyone wanting to follow the World Cup in Wild Rift can tune in starting June 14th. The group stage of the play-in tournament will take place then. At the end of June, there will be the regular group stage followed by a knockout phase with a big final on July 9th.
Whether Wild Rift is interesting for LoL fans, we have examined in this article:
On June 2, the new MMOARPG from Blizzard, Diablo Immortal, will be released. You can play it on both smartphone and PC. We want to know from you which class you will start your adventures with.
Since the announcement of Diablo Immortal at BlizzCon 2018, a lot has happened. It turned out that Blizzard’s new game has a strong focus on MMORPG elements like dungeons, raids, and PvP.
For those who want to start with Diablo Immortal, there are 6 different classes to choose from:
Barbarian – a muscle-bound warrior with an axe, who loves to stand in the midst of the fray.
Demon Hunter – a bitter avenger, armed with a crossbow who can defeat enemies from a distance.
Crusader – a warrior of faith, who charges into battle with heavy armor and a huge blade.
Monk – a master of martial arts, relying on lightning-fast strikes and great mobility.
Necromancer – a necromancer who can resurrect enemies as skeletons.
Wizard – a powerful mage who taps into arcane power.
Each class in Diablo Immortal can be played as both male and female characters. Later, a class-switching feature is also planned to be implemented. However, at the beginning, you will only start with a fixed class.
But which class will that be? We want to know in our survey. As usual, you can select a class and then submit the survey. Changing your vote later is not possible.
Which class will you play? Or are you still undecided? Will you play a class that you preferred in earlier Diablo games, or will you start something completely new? Feel free to write us your choice and the reasons for it in the comments.
If you have no idea how the classes work exactly, you will find answers in this article:

However, there is a downside: Games like Metal Gear Solid or the Persona series are not included in the new subscription model. While some users find this disappointing, many are convinced by the new lineup.
Will more games come? Allegedly, the games presented are not all there is. Sony itself writes in the official post:
Our new PlayStation Plus service will launch soon, and we are excited to give you a first look at some of the games that will be available during the launch period.
Some users therefore assume that the currently known list is just a taste of what could still come and that Sony will present more games. However, it could also very well be that certain games are only available at launch and later removed. For example, Sony had removed the RPG Persona 5 from the “PS Plus Collection” without replacement.
The first reactions praise the new lineup of PS Plus
What are the reactions? In the “PS Plus” subreddit, many players are positively surprised by the announcement (via reddit.com).
“After 1.5 years of absence, it’s probably time to buy Plus again.”
“This is a good start. I really wanted to play Demon Souls and Ghost of Tsushima. Returnal, Spiderman, Death Stranding, Guardians of the Galaxy, Rdr2 – those are some nice titles. Let’s hope they continue to deliver good titles, otherwise it will be a problem for Sony regarding customer retention.”
“I must say, great content for the start! I definitely need to add an additional SSD now to have more space for these games.”
In the lineup, some also see the problem of the offer. Because if you’ve been a long-time fan of PlayStation and have already played several games, you probably have already played many of the games listed here. Long-time fans may be less convinced, but rather people who are not yet so deep into the PlayStation universe:
The downside is, for a Sony fan from the beginning like me, that I already own all the first-party games listed here.
Shadow’s Kiss is a new MMORPG for PC that is set to be released on Steam in 2022. The game has made headlines particularly for its focus on content for ages 18 and over, including vampires, blood, and BDSM. However, the latest trailer has caused much irritation.
What is the problem with the trailer? The new trailer is supposed to show gameplay from the alpha and was created especially for the upcoming beta on Steam. However, it has not been received well by fans and has caused much skepticism:
You can watch the trailer here:
Start video
Trailer zum MMORPG Shadow’s Kiss
The video was recorded in 4:3 format – allegedly because Steam requires this for mobile devices
The graphics look like they are from a game from the early 2000s
There are numerous graphic glitches
The interface has a mobile look and is way too big for many
The FPS in the video is very low
Overall, much about the trailer seems to be intentionally trying to deter players. The game has been in development for 6 years already.
When is the game supposed to be released? The developers announced on May 12 that they received the green light for the first phase on Steam. This means that the first beta tests can take place soon.
Officially, Shadow’s Kiss is supposed to start early access on Steam in 2022. However, many doubt that the MMORPG can really succeed after this trailer.
If you are interested in a beta, you should send an email to [email protected] with the subject [Beta Tester].
MMORPG raised $80,000 on Kickstarter, lures with a world for adults
What kind of game is this anyway? According to its own statement, Shadow’s Kiss focuses on adult players. This is mainly due to the representation of violence and sex in the vampire MMO.
The game does not use classes and allows you to independently level up skills like sword fighting or necromancy.
There will be quests, dungeons, and solo content for PvE fans.
There will be housing and PvP, though there is still a lack of concrete information.
You should have the ability to control humans and delegate tasks to them.
There will be playable sex scenes where you can try BDSM, both as a dominant and submissive partner.
This concept initially convinced many players, as over $80,000 were already raised for the implementation on Kickstarter (via Kickstarter). Originally, the game only needed $25,000. However, after the latest trailer, many are skeptical whether Shadow’s Kiss can actually build a community.
What do you think of the MMORPG for adults? Is this game something for you, or do you find Shadow’s Kiss’s approach rather unappealing? Feel free to let us know in the comments here at MeinMMO.
If you prefer to feel at home in a medieval world, you should keep an eye on this game:
In the PvP of Destiny 2, there’s currently a worm in the works. Crucible players logging in to Lord Shaxx daily are annoyed and report that they are increasingly encountering opponents in PvP matches where things cannot be as they seem. The reason is cheat programs and hardware that are easily accessible and apparently not detected by Bungie.
In the last TWaB (“This Week at Bungie” blog), Destiny 2 announced to revamp the outdated Iron Banner and turn it into an event. But what sounds interesting also unfortunately has a bitter aftertaste for me. Because in Destiny 2, there are obviously more and more players using unrecognizable “cheats” to dominate in the Crucible.
What cheats are involved? Currently, it is mainly hardware cheats that are increasingly used by cheaters in the Crucible and apparently can sneak past Bungie and BattlEye, the Destiny 2 anti-cheat system. However, we will not elaborate further on which ones specifically.
This is how “cheat hardware” drives more honest players out of the PvP.
The device mimics original accessories, so you can’t tell whether a controller or mouse and keyboard are connected. The hardware is quickly installed, and players can then use either mouse and keyboard on the console or a controller on different consoles.
This useful hardware is being exploited: What is supposed to be a convenient tool has now become a nasty cheat problem in Destiny 2. Because apparently, Bungie cannot reliably recognize this manipulation as such.
My last rounds in the Crucible also included really bizarre experiences. In almost every match, you encounter players who keep distributing headshots in the kill feed. Even if you are really good at PvP, that is not possible.
However, if such hardware is used, it could provide players with remarkably effective aim assist. This allows for multiple consecutive headshots with ease across the entire map.
Quickly executed actions also keep knocking you down in matches. There is hardly time to react in a duel, as your own reaction time cannot keep up.
The options integrated into the tool via scripts and macros are therefore advantages that will make the Crucible increasingly unfair if nothing is done about it. Or does that sound fair to you?
Anti-recoil settings ensure that a weapon no longer deviates.
Aim assist that still works over longer distances. This allows these players to effortlessly track a moving opponent in Destiny 2, no matter if they are moving slowly, quickly, or jumping.
Fully automatic shooting mode, which ensures that weapons not only shoot faster but also have greater impact compared to manual aiming.
And even melee attacks are optimized, allowing for a quick melee followed by a quick shot, for example, from a shotgun.
This is how hardware makes PvP in Destiny 2 unfair.
These hardware cheats have been on the market for several years and are marketed in other AAA games, but they are now being actively advertised. Additionally, the devices have gained enormous popularity through word of mouth in the community.
I’ve looked at how large this user community is in recent weeks. Users of the hardware exchange settings and options through forums, YouTube, and a Discord server. Comments about how funny it is to easily send other players to their deaths can also be found there.
Of course, this also allows players to easily achieve every triumph, an outrageous K/D, and the top of the leaderboard in Destiny 2, even in the PvP endgame.
Why are these players not banned? Officially, the use of such hardware violates Bungie’s terms of service. Manufacturers of such hardware always explicitly point this out.
However, this does not stop players from getting the device, as the risk of a ban is simply too low. The codes, scripts, and macros only run on the device, and the console recognizes this as “normal” input. Additionally, there is no interference with the game’s code, so it cannot be detected by anti-cheat systems like BattlEye, which are supposed to uncover such aimbots, wallhacks, and other atrocities.
Have you experienced bizarre things happening in the Crucible that you cannot explain? Or players who never die and keep distributing headshots from the hip? Do you perhaps even use such a tool yourself or know someone who does? Feel free to share your experiences with us in the comments.

In Fortnite, players have been terrorized by a weapon for months. It requires no training to wield. Even professionals are ripped to shreds. This is the Drum Shotgun. What makes it so powerful and why it should best go back into the vault, you can find out here.
What kind of weapon is this? This is the Drum Shotgun resurrected from the dead. This pump had been locked away in the vault for several seasons and could not be used by players. When Season 2 in Chapter 3 started, a revamped version of the shotgun appeared on the battlefield.
The living evil – The Drum Shotgun
As the extinct legend could finally be used again, a large part of the community rejoiced at the return. However, it quickly became clear that the shotgun didn’t go into the vault for no reason.
Fortnite professionals like Ninja don’t even stand a chance to evade the Drum Shotgun with their skill and therefore die a miserable death.
Even professionals despair and have no chance
What makes the shotgun so devastating? The shotgun can score at ranges that are unusual for a pump, and the damage is exaggerated.
The fire rate gives no opponent time to defend themselves as your 12 shots are fired without delay. Even submachine guns stand no chance against this shotgun.
Ninja mentions that he hates the shotgun so much. It requires no skill, and therefore he demands that it should be removed from the game immediately. He also adds that he enjoys neither dying by the weapon nor using it. The weapon is only used to allow players to secure a win safely.
Will Epic Games remove the gun? So far, Epic has not mentioned anything about the new weapon rotation in Season 3. However, since Fortnite offers different weapons in each new season to keep the meta fresh, it is likely that the shotgun might go back into the vault in Season 3.
But it could also be that the gun will still be present in Season 3. In the Update 20.30, Epic left some buffs on shotguns, including the Drum Pump, from which players benefited. It remains to be seen what the development team will decide.
How can one still defend themselves? To counter the shotgun, you should keep your distance from your opponent. If you find yourself in close combat, try to create distance and use an assault rifle or a SMG to damage your opponent.
However, try not to approach these players aggressively, as they will exploit your arrogance and shred you to pieces in seconds. If the distance you gained doesn’t help, try to run away. Sometimes fleeing is the best option to come back later for revenge.
What do you think of the Drum Shotgun? Do you also find it too OP, or have you become so attached to it that you can’t remove it from your inventory? Let us know in the comments!

In Pokémon GO there are rare monsters that are cursedly hard to find. Two fossil monsters belong to this group – and the community is wondering: Where are they hiding?
Which Pokémon are we talking about? In the Pokémon GO subreddit “TheSilphRoad”, a trainer is currently looking for the Pokémon Galapaflos. This turtle monster belongs to the so-called “fossil Pokémon” and is in Pokémon lore one of the oldest Pokémon ever.
A trainer writes in the subreddit: “Has anyone seen a Galapaflos during the Alola season?” (via reddit) He hasn’t found any – just like several trainers in the comments. However, he has seen 4 Flapteryx, he reports in his post. And that calls other trainers into action:
“I’m just amazed that you’ve seen four Flapteryx. I want your luck,” writes one (via reddit).
“I had 3 in a year. This little guy is insanely rare,” writes another (via reddit).
“I haven’t seen a single [Galapaflos]. The same goes for Flapteryx. It’s as if they don’t exist” (via reddit).
You see many such comments, as Flapteryx is the counterpart to Galapaflos. The little prehistoric bird and its evolution Aeropteryx joined the game at the same time as the turtle, but under the same conditions: first in eggs, then rarely in the wild.
The question is: Where are the two?
Galapaflos, Flapteryx, and their evolutions are rarely seen
Where are Flapteryx and Galapaflos in Pokémon GO?
Where can you find the monsters? Both monsters are explicitly listed in the spawn list of the current Alola season, but there is no boosted spawn rate for them. They are currently available in the wild, but not everywhere.
Flapteryx can currently be found in the mountains. It appears more frequently in partly cloudy or windy weather.
Galapaflos can be found along beaches and bodies of water. It appears more frequently in rain or partly cloudy weather.
There is virtually no guarantee of encountering either of them. Encountering a Flapteryx was part of the “Pioneer-40 Special Research” – but those were only available to players who reached level 40 before the end of 2020.
In the subreddit, trainers report that one really needs luck. Many haven’t seen either of the two, while others report that they have at least one or two specimens. Only in rare cases have some trainers collected more.
Recently, for the ongoing Water Festival, some trainers apparently hoped for more Galapaflos spawns. So far, that hasn’t been the case.
Have you already caught the two monsters in your collection? If so: Where and when did you catch them? Let us know in the comments!

The streamer Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo switched from Twitch to YouTube in 2021, but is still active on Amazon’s platform. Over the weekend, he wrote a sentence in the chat of the well-known streamer Ninja, which led Twitch to temporarily ban him.
What exactly was the streamer banned for? On May 15, the streamer DrLupo announced via Twitter that he was banned on Twitch. The reason was an “unsolicited sexual advance.” The ban was supposed to last for 7 days.
DrLupo provided the explanation for the ban himself. He had written in Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ chat the phrase “Sit on my face.” This statement is often associated with a sexual act.
However, the remark was meant to be understood as a joke among streamers in this context.
Ninja’s wife, Jessice Blevins, responded to the ban by also writing “Sit on my face” in the chat and then asking on Twitter if she could say that as his wife (via Twitter).

Twitch’s ban policy continues to spark discussions
What is the problem with the bans? Twitch has a very peculiar line when it comes to bans. Pornographic material and sexual harassment are actively pursued, yet they often go overboard:
Both bans have since been lifted, but a sour aftertaste remains. Because these bans often seem arbitrary, especially when considering that there are streamers on Twitch who deliberately push the boundaries of Twitch.

Banana Shooter is a quirky F2P shooter that is currently gaining some fans on Steam. The name says it all: in addition to a shotgun and an AK-47, you also shoot bananas at other players. But it’s not just the absurd humor that has fans, but mainly the ultra-fast gameplay.
If you currently take a look at the shooter trends on Steam, you will be surprised. A game titled Banana Shooter appears near the top, with 87% positive reviews (via Steam).
With very simple graphics and a cheap-looking presentation, this enthusiasm may come as a surprise. However, Banana Shooter, which has only been on Steam for 2 weeks, can not only score with its charmingly absurd humor.
The shooter plays fantastically due to its fast pace and roguelite elements and wonderfully reminds of the browser hidden gem Krunker.
Here you can see the trailer for Banana Shooter:

F2P shooter on Steam mixes fast-paced deathmatch with roguelite upgrades
What is the game about? The official description of the game is just as absurd as it is simple:
In this game, you are not a banana, but Dave, because you like to eat bananas. The banana is therefore gone, and the only way to get it back is to kill other Daves. If you have killed the most people, you get bananas.
The official game description of Banana Shooter on Steam
At its core, Banana Shooter is a deathmatch shooter on several open and sporadically equipped maps. In particular, two aspects make the shooter so much fun:
The game speed and movement of the characters are incredibly high, which is also emphasized by a grappling hook, creating visual effects like motion blur on the weapons.
It has a hint of roguelite in the gameplay loop: with each kill, you earn coins that you can spend on weapon upgrades or faster movement. However, when you die, you lose everything.
With shotguns, an AK-47, or a banana knife (yes, really), you hunt your friends or random opponents. While you shoot, you dash across the maps at top speed with rapid bunny hops and other movement tricks.
What do the players think? Players are generally reacting positively. In the currently 539 reviews on Steam, most shooter fans express pleasant surprise at the quality of the absurd shooter:
“As dumb as it may sound, I actually think it has potential.” – vertiKarl
“It was only 8 minutes, but it was the best 8 minutes of my life.” – fudgesickle24
“Surprisingly fun to play.” – Yibbles
Anyone who enjoys Krunker or similarly fast shooters, or is simply looking for something new, should give Banana Shooter a chance. The game is completely free on Steam.
Hopefully, you won’t encounter the most annoying people you can have in shooters on your team:
Past Fate has been in development for several years and will be a medieval MMORPG with many freedoms and options. You can expect dungeons, raids, and battles for territories when playing on the PvP server. Now, Past Fate is showcasing new gameplay from the alpha for the first time in 11 months.
What kind of game is this? In Past Fate, exploration and fighting together against enemies are to be in the foreground. The MMORPG focuses on an active combat system where you must aim and actively evade attacks. The previously shown battles vaguely resemble New World.
You create your character from one of five different classes – Warrior, Necromancer, Mage, Pirate, Priest – and explore the game world.
This world is to be divided into many islands that you can reach by ship. You are also supposed to build these ships yourself and discover treasures at sea, as well as experience battles. To not do this alone, you can assemble a crew of NPCs, including archers, gunners, or melee fighters.
Your experience in Past Fate will also differ significantly depending on whether you are on PvE or PvP servers.
You can check out the latest gameplay from the alpha here:

Trailer for the new medieval MMORPG Past Fate
Fights for territories and arenas in PvP, dungeons and raids like in WoW
What does PvP look like in Past Fate? For those playing on PvP servers, there’s a struggle for territories in the open world:
When you enter the territory of an enemy faction, you will automatically be marked as a PvP player (“flagged”). In the territories of your own faction, you cannot be attacked, but you can attack enemies if you want. However, then you will be flagged.
It is possible to conquer certain “contested zones” and thereby expand your territory.
On PvE servers, however, open-world PvP only exists in the contested zones. In your own areas and also in the territories of the enemy faction, you are safe. It is unclear whether you have to actively mark yourself for PvP in the contested territories or if you can be attacked automatically.
However, on both servers, there will be special battlegrounds and PvP arenas for 1v1 and 3v3, for which you can queue. There’s something for PvP fans, after all.
What does Past Fate offer for PvE fans? In PvE, the focus is primarily on instances:
Dungeons can be entered with a party of up to 5 players. From level 10, there should be a new dungeon every 5 to 10 levels, which will become increasingly difficult. As a reward, there is a chance for epic gear.
In the endgame, raids for 25 players will await. The hardest raids are expected to be achievable only for good guilds and well-coordinated teams. Here, epic rewards are guaranteed with every run.
Those wandering through the open world will encounter boss enemies. Some of them are supposed to be soloable, while others require party members. The loot depends on how much damage you inflict, and the bosses appear after random timers.
Germans love the idea of MMORPGs, but the release still seems far off
How has the game been received so far? In summer 2020, Past Fate was already playable, albeit in a very raw version. Back then, we reported that it was particularly popular among German players. About 60% of users in Discord claimed to be from Germany.
Since then, a lot has happened. The developers launched a Kickstarter campaign, raising nearly 23,000 euros (via Kickstarter).
In the trailer, it can also be seen that the combat system and the overall graphics have been worked on since the test two years ago.
However, Past Fate is still in alpha, with tests taking place only irregularly. You can participate in these if you purchase a supporter package. The cheapest one is available for 20 dollars – about 18 euros (via Past Fate). The game will be played on the Steam platform.
This is what the interface of Past Fate looked like in the different alpha versions (left at the very beginning, right at the end of 2020).
When is the game coming out? There is currently no release date. It is also unclear whether the MMORPG will be Buy2Play or Free2Play. There will be a shop, but it will only offer cosmetic content.
What do you think of Past Fate? Does this MMORPG appeal to you or does it all sound too ambitious for an indie game? Feel free to write it in the comments.
