Valorant is a first-person shooter from Riot Games, the developers of League of Legends. It was originally announced under the name Project A. The game resembles a mix of the two successful shooters Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch. Tactical aspects are at the forefront of gameplay, while the heroes still have abilities. After a closed beta phase in April 2020, the release took place on June 2, 2020.
