With the new “Season of Light”, the egg pool in Pokémon GO has also been adjusted. And especially the 10 km eggs have received a good upgrade, trainers find.
New monsters in the eggs: If you look at the currently possible monsters from 10 km eggs, it becomes clear that the options have been shuffled a bit. Two newcomers in the 10 km eggs stand out in the “Season of Light”:
Now more players should have the chance to get both monsters – and even the shiny version is available.
In addition, there are a few adjustments: Lin-Fu, Milza, eF-eM, and Miniras have all moved down one rarity level. However, there are now only three rarity levels for the 10 km eggs.
The pool now looks like this (possible shinies are marked with an asterisk*)
In the Pokémon GO subreddit, some trainers are discussing the change. Especially the farewell to Ohrdoch and Emolga is easy for most, as they provide little utility in the game once hatched.
Geronimatz and Flampion also now have little rarity value, although the latter still counts among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
Notably, in the comments, some trainers would have liked to say goodbye to Lin-Fu as well – they apparently have had enough of it by now, especially since it can be obtained quickly in the battle league. Overall, the pool change is well received:
“Yes, no more Emolga! Finally,” a trainer is happy (via reddit).
“Actually a good change,” finds Uster “SilverBeldum1” (via reddit).
“That’s pretty great! I don’t need Lin-Fu or Psiau, but this still feels like a significant upgrade overall” (via reddit).
“This is probably the best 10 km egg selection they have ever had” (via reddit).
Overall, the 10 km egg now mostly contains Pokémon that are at least somewhat rare. Riolu has been around for a while, but as Lucario one of the most popular and best attackers in the game.
Monsters like Wuffels, Miniras, Milza, eF-eM, and Viscora may still be missing from the collections of some trainers – just like the two fossils.
A warlock in World of Warcraft apparently places maximum value on exclusivity and equips his demon just as well as himself.
Season 4 in World of Warcraft Shadowlands works a bit differently than previous seasons. Everything goes a little faster, the gear can be rapidly upgraded and this time loot can even be specifically purchased with a new raid currency.
Some players use this to equip not only themselves but also their companions in particularly impressive ways – such as their felguard with the powerful weapon of the Jailor.
What kind of weapon is that? It is the “Hammer of the First Judge.” This is a mace with a unique “Use” effect that extracts the soul of the target. Subsequently, a small soul fragment appears that must be killed to gain a powerful buff for 60 seconds.
In most guides, this weapon is currently the best that a melee fighter can equip – not to mention that the effect is just cool.

Why is it so popular right now? Like most other weapons and trinkets, raid loot in Season 4 of Shadowlands can be specifically purchased if you have the necessary dinars. You basically earn these “on the side” by simply killing the current raid bosses. This way, characters can specifically work towards items if they had bad luck with drops.
This also explains why the warlock got this weapon at all. If this weapon were to drop normally in the raid, several melee fighters would surely fight over it. However, through the dinar system, characters can buy not only weapons and equipment that are meaningful for their own characters, but also weapons that they cannot use – like the Hammer of the First Judge.
Why does the felguard carry this weapon? A glyph can activate that the felguard equips a random weapon from the warlock’s inventory upon summoning. While this may look stylish, it has no effect at all…
…except that some warrior or death knight might now roll up crying in front of this demon.
The glyph “Felguard” allows the guard to equip a random two-handed weapon from the warlock’s inventory, making it lucrative for warlocks to keep two-handed weapons in their inventory to customize the demon a bit.
At the next demon meeting, the felguard may well show off a little.
What have you bought with the strange dinars, or have you not earned them yet?

What was the tweet? Ninja posted a mysterious tweet. Without providing further context or explanations, the 31-year-old wrote that he needs a break.
It is currently unclear whether he means a break from streaming or something else. As of now (September 02), the reason behind the statement is also unknown.
The exact wording from Ninja was:
I just need a break… I don’t know when I’ll be back or where.
Clix via Twitter: “I hope everything is alright, G.O.A.T.!” (Note: G.O.A.T. = Greatest of all time)
All Just Marketing?
Is there a plan behind the post? In the comments under the post, there are also some users who suspect that this is a marketing move and that Ninja might switch as a streamer to YouTube.
FaZeCoomer via Twitter: “It’s a marketing stunt. He said ‘or where’, so he will be making a comeback on YouTube Gaming.”
ItsIsaiahClark via Twitter: “He’s moving to YouTube.”
What indicates Ninja’s transition to YouTube? Just a few hours before Ninja posted the mysterious tweet, he shared a stream notification on the social network. The streamer wrote, “Big things are coming” (via Twitter).
Additionally, it seems that Ninja is no longer a partner on the streaming platform Twitch and lost the badge that indicates the status (via Twitch).
If Ninja really announced an upcoming transition to YouTube with this tweet, he would not be the first streamer that the platform has poached from Twitch this year.
A major Psychic event starts in September in Pokémon GO. With a new Shiny, a new Mega Pokémon, a Raid Day, and more exciting content. We’ll show you the details in the overview.

With the AI Midjourney, you can create your own artworks without having to pick up a pencil. Now a user even won an art competition with it, but this is not going down well on social media.
Which competition is it about? The Discord user Sincarnate, whose real name is Jason Allen, created images with the artificial intelligence Midjourney and participated in an art competition in the category “digital arts”.
In the competition named “Colorado State Fair Fine Arts 2022”, Jason Allen took first place with the work “Theatre d’Opera Spartial”.
We are embedding an excerpt of the winning placements of the art competition here. In category 5 “Digital Arts”, you can see the title of the AI-generated winning image and Jason in first place (via coloradostatefair.com):
Users see danger for creative professions and highly skilled jobs
What reactions were there? The user @GenelJumalon shared a screenshot on Twitter, where the happy winner reports about his triumph on Discord. To the screenshot, @GenelJumalon also wrote “Yes, this is quite shitty.” and made his lack of enthusiasm clear:

There was also a lot of criticism from other users under the post, and the fact that an AI won an art competition was not well received.
A Twitter user even saw the success of the AI as a threat to “highly skilled jobs” and “the death of art”. Over 4,800 people seemed to agree with this thought and pressed the like button.
We see the death of art right before our eyes – if creative professions are not safe from machines, then highly skilled professions are also at risk of becoming obsolete.
Even though the reactions to the successful participation of Midjourney in the competition are rather critical, the general mood towards AI is quite positive and has already captivated the Internet.
What is Midjourney? It is an artificial intelligence that creates images. With Midjourney, you can create your own artworks by entering some words or a sentence, and the AI generates an image from it.
The developers of Midjourney even offer a Discord bot for creating images that you can integrate into your Discord server.
If you want to create an image with Midjourney, you type any scenario into the Discord bot, and the AI designs corresponding images within minutes.
Recently, several creations from Midjourney caused a stir on TikTok, where the AI shows how the last selfie will look that will ever be taken on Earth.
In the survival hit Rust, players can enjoy a new mode that presents them with a special challenge and promises excitement.
What game is it? Rust is a survival game focused on PvP, available on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. The popular title follows a classic survival approach, leaving you naked and unarmed in the wilderness.
Then you loot equipment and build a shelter. Genre-typical elements like crafting and base building are available to you.
Since Rust places a strong emphasis on PvP and players can equip themselves with weapons, action-packed gunfights and excitement are part of the daily routine.

Everything you need to know about the survival MMO Rust – in 2 minutes
Rust brings a new mode
What kind of mode is it? Rust received a hardcore mode as part of the monthly content update on Thursday, September 1, 2022, making the typical survival gameplay even more challenging.
The hardcore mode is characterized by taking away important tools from players, making the game more demanding. Shooter fans are already familiar with the principle from games like Escape from Tarkov.
The Rust hardcore mode does not affect the main game and is not imposed on anyone. It is an optional mode that you can play but do not have to. You can activate the mode via command on your server.
What tools does the hardcore mode remove? As YouTuber SHADOWFRAX reported before the release of the hardcore mode, the new mode removes or limits features that are used in Rust for orientation and communication.
No map, no compass
limited chat functions (no global chat)
removes safe zones
removes the team system
Limits the number of sleeping bags on a map to 5 per player
How does Rust provide the ultimate thrill? Rust is characterized by intense player encounters, PvP battles, and the will to survive.
When players are also deprived of the map for orientation, some chat functions for communication, and the safe zones as a secure refuge, chaos and war are almost a foregone conclusion.
Since communication is limited, it is more difficult to understand the intentions of other players. A certain distrust quickly arises because you can never know who is quick on the trigger. And then there’s the fear for your own loot and the disorientation … pure excitement!
How popular is Rust? Rust is one of the most popular survival games on Steam. The title had an average of nearly 83,000 players on the platform in August and reached a peak of 134,000 simultaneous players that month (via steamcharts).
At the current time (September 1), over 44,000 players are playing Rust, placing the survival hit ahead of genre competitors like ARK: Survival Evolved (39,500 players) and 7 Days to Die (14,940 players).
Rust also enjoys great popularity on Twitch and captivates many viewers during special streaming events.
The beta of World of Warcraft Dragonflight has begun. Many more players now have access and can explore the Dragon Isles.
For a long time, many fans complained that only a few streamers, journalists, and YouTubers got access to the alpha of Dragonflight . Now the time has come for more players to be invited. The beta of Dragonflight has started.
How can you participate in the beta? If you haven’t registered for the beta yet, you should definitely do so to have a chance to gain access. Simply agree to the “Opt In” procedure on the official Battle.net website and then you have a chance to be drawn for the beta.

Until when does the beta run? A specific end date for the beta of Dragonflight is not yet known, but the end date is at least foreseeable. Dragonflight is expected to be released in any case in 2022, so the developers have a maximum of 4 months to get the latest expansion into the best possible shape. After all, they want to avoid the debacle of Shadowlands, where many features were well-received in the beta, but last-minute major changes were made and particularly critical feedback was ignored.
How do you get a key? Please note that there are no “keys” in the traditional sense. There is no code you need to enter, even though dubious sites may try to sell you such codes. If you receive an invitation to the beta of Dragonflight, your Battle.net account will be activated immediately, and you can download the client in the selection for the game version.
More about WoW and Dragonflight can be found here:
What if I was already in the alpha? In that case, your alpha access should have simply been converted into beta access. You just need to update the client to the latest version and you can participate in the beta again. However, your characters were deleted – you will have to start fresh in the beta if you want to participate.
Do you already have access to the beta of Dragonflight? Or would you prefer not to be spoiled?

Right now, so many players want to log in to WoW Classic that the servers can no longer handle the load without difficulty. The new expansion Wrath of the Lich King hasn’t even been released yet. The pre-patch is enough for the influx. Blizzard is now offering free transfers.
This is how big the surge is right now: There are no official player numbers for World of Warcraft or WoW Classic. Some websites count created and logged-in characters, but these do not accurately reflect the total number of players.
Nevertheless, it is already visible that since the release of the WotLK pre-patch, significantly more players are logging in than before. This is reflected in the server loads, which in Germany are either “High” or even “Full” for 4 out of 6 realms.
On the English servers in Europe, things are even tougher. Gehennas has queues of over 10,000 players, Thekal puts you in a queue of more than 9,000 people during peak times. And this is despite, or perhaps because, Thekal is one of the “new servers” where everyone starts fresh.
The same picture is emerging on US servers. The popular servers Benediction and Grobbulus are just as overcrowded as their European counterparts. And those who manage to log in might be greeted with a black screen without characters:

How is Blizzard responding? The problem with the influx has apparently been recognized. On Twitter, the official support writes in response to the reports of the overcrowded servers: “We have had other reports about this issue and are currently looking into it.”
Due to this, free server transfers have been established on US servers and now also in Europe. These can be selected directly in the queue. If someone wants, they can therefore transfer their characters for free to another realm.
If you just want to watch the glorious intro cinematic of WotLK, you only need to start the game – or just watch it here:

Whoever starts WoW Classic now will be greeted with one of the best cinematics of all time
WotLK will be released in just under 4 weeks, players want to play now
Where does the surge come from? With the pre-patch, leveling has been significantly eased. On the one hand, there is still the handy buff for 50% more experience. On the other hand, the required experience from level 60-70 has been significantly reduced.
So, anyone who wants to raise a character or prepare a Death Knight now has ideal conditions. Because the new class is also already playable. The expansion itself, however, will not be out until September 27.
However, not all players are happy with the current content. Besides the login issues, especially one change, which differs from Wrath of the Lich King 14 years ago, is not well received. Because the controversial Dungeon Finder is not in the game as players are used to:
For today, Thursday, September 01, Destiny 2 announced a hotfix. This means that all players will not be able to log in for a while on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. MeinMMOfollows the server downtimeand tells you what issues the developers are addressing.
This is what you need to know today: After Bungie has already maintained Destiny 2 in the background for the past few days, the server downtime is now scheduled for today.
To ensure you know exactly when you can play and what changes are being made in the game, MeinMMO will guide you through Hotfix 6.2.0.2 and update this article with fresh information.
Update History:
20:00: The patch notes for Hotfix 6.2.0.2 have just been released. “An ogre has gone silent!” More information about what Bungie has fixed can be found further down in the article.
19:10: Good news. Your grenade launchers are reactivated. As soon as Bungie publishes the complete patch notes, we will link them below in the article so you know what else has been adjusted.
19:00: All done. Bungie has integrated the hotfix and players can download the update. The download on Steam is 377.7 MB.
18:45: Maintenance has begun! Bungie has just taken its servers offline. Now it means to wait 15 minutes patiently. If you want to hear the latest news about Lightfall in the meantime, check here what Joe Blackburn revealed in a recent interview.
17:00: In one hour, the Destiny 2 servers will go offline for maintenance. Players should prepare and finish their ongoing activities.
8:00: Destiny 2 already started the daily and full-day backend maintenance early this morning. However, you can still log in. The official server downtime will only begin later this evening. All times and information can be found further below.
This is a Cloudrunner from Destiny 2. They once emigrated from Earth and evolved into supernaturally large humans. However, once they accept their calling, they will only live for another 10 years.
Maintenance on 01.09. – All Times and Server Downtime
As part of the update, Bungie will implement some fixes and banish faulty content from the game. However, players will also have to accept a downtime.
These times are important today:
At 18:00 German time, maintenance will start in the background on all platforms.
From 18:45 the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
Around 19:00 the servers are supposed to come back online and update 6.2.0.2 will roll out for all platforms. However, you can log in and start playing again from then on.
Officially, the maintenance for Hotfix 6.2.0.2 will only end at 20:00.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in the game, there may be connection issues until the maintenance ends around 20:00. You may also have to expect queues when logging in. Also, note that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may not be correctly accessible.
Destiny 2 is looking for the key to all problems.
This changes with Update 6.2.0.2 in Season 18
This is what the update bringstoday: Currently, Bungie’s to-do list is very long. Since the start of Season 18, some bugs have once again slipped into the game. In addition, many items are still disabled that players cannot use.
Bungie has not yet released information about the latest bug fixes. However, there is a long list of known issues.
Some fixes may already be part of today’s update:
Warlocks and Titans should keep their fingers crossed. Their resilience isn’t working as intended. They can no longer withstand anything when playing Arc 3.0.
Regarding the armor Exotics, the Titan’s “Ice Avalanche Mantle” is still waiting for reactivation after it could briefly be used on Thursday.
Just like the latest Titan Exotic “Contact Launcher,” which has also been temporarily locked.
Then, some Arc 3.0 abilities, such as Thundercrash or Ballistic Strike, are buggy. The latter, for example, currently does not work with the armor mod “Heavy-handed”.
The Bungie app and third-party apps like “Destiny Item Manager” (DIM) or the Ishtar Collective have been struggling with long loading times since the start of Season 18.
If you experience problems in the game yourself, it is recommended to report them directly via the official Bungie Help Forum to make the developers aware of them.
What’s in the patch notes? The comprehensive list of all changes for Hotfix 6.2.0.2 is published by Bungie in the form of patch notes. And Bungie has made quite a few adjustments in this update:
Let us know how the current Season 18 is going so far. Have you noticed any other bugs while playing that Bungie should address? Then feel free to leave a comment here.
And if you want to learn about brazen live cheaters in Destiny 2, we recommend this article:
Some players apparently tried to gain an advantage in Diablo Immortal. For less money than actually intended, they supplied themselves with paid currency. Now it’s time for reckoning.
Currently, threads are emerging on reddit, reporting how players seem to be struggling with high debts:
According to reports from players on reddit and in the forum, affected individuals have tried to buy Eternal Orbs, a premium currency in Diablo Immortal, cheaply from third-party providers.
Such offers are often found as spam in the chat channels of Diablo Immortal and other games.
The orbs are used for purchasing legendary emblems or Platinum.
Buyers seem to acquire better equipment for less money, as they can sometimes provide themselves faster with strong legendary gems.
According to parts of the community, it should be self-evident that premium content, which costs real money, cannot simply be obtained cheaper. After all, Blizzard wants to earn money. Consequently, the buyers are treated like fraudsters and receive penalties.
Diablo Immortal: What are legendary gems? Facts and locations in 3 minutes
What happens now to the players? Players who have wrongfully purchased Eternal Orbs cheaply are currently being subjected to a kind of “soft ban” according to reports. They can no longer join groups.
Parts of the community consider this punishment too mild, as they could still participate in PvP with their ill-gotten gear. However, one user explains on reddit: “Calm down. They can no longer join groups. Give it a few days, then they will be ‘undergeared’ for battlegrounds.”
Since you need a group to farm set pieces, such accounts would no longer have access to new equipment. There are even reports that some are now trying to sell their accounts – allegedly before they get banned themselves (via reddit).
The penalties go beyond those imposed by Blizzard. As is currently being discussed in one of the largest threads on reddit regarding Diablo Immortal, there are said to have been chargebacks on credit cards. Affected players would thus have to return up to 600,000 orbs. Depending on the offer, this amounts to about 1,000 Euros or more.
Third-party providers use fraud schemes – Blizzard has no “cheaper” offers
Where do the debts come from? As the YouTuber and expert DM: Diablo Immortal explains in his video, the cheaper prices from third-party providers are only possible due to fraud.
The offers usually work in such a way that the providers log in with the buyers’ data and purchase Eternal Orbs for them via their own payment options. They claim that the better price results from more favorable conditions in their country, but according to DM, they actually only use stolen credit card information.
When the fraud is uncovered, the victims request their money back, which is usually easy to do – after all, it is fraud. The “buyers,” that is, those whose account the orbs were purchased on, end up in debt. After all, the money for the content credited to their account was demanded back.
Similar fraud schemes often occur in MMOs. As MVP MissCheetah explains in the official forum, this even harms corporations like Blizzard – contrary to some users’ opinions that the providers would earn anyway.
The only ones who profit from this are the scammers. In general, it is better never to trust third-party providers and especially never to share your account details. If you want to improve, you should therefore refrain from such offers and rely on better means:
Who is it about? Asmongold has been streaming on Twitch since 2014 and, with over 3 million followers, is arguably the biggest streamer for World of Warcraft and MMORPGs in general. Additionally, he showcases other games as well.
Even Asmongold’s room, where he streams, has become a star over time – in a way. Recently, however, the focus was back on WoW: In Wrath of the Lich King, Asmongold created a new character. But the last step of the extensive customization caused the stream to briefly freeze.
Because Asmongold’s preferred names were all taken.
“Someone is really putting in the effort”
In the stream, it can be seen how Asmongold wants to use this name at the start of Wrath of the Lich King for his character – only to be shown that “Asmongold” is already taken. “Wow, what a surprise,” he comments there already cynically.
Neither “Asmon” nor “Zackrawrr” go through, nor does “Asmongler”. “Someone is really putting in the effort,” says Asmongold.
In the end, the character gets the name “Asmonfresh” – but the streamer is obviously not completely satisfied with it, but he says he doesn’t want to sit around for three hours thinking about it.
This is what Asmongold says about it: From Asmongold’s perspective, Blizzard should ensure that not everyone can use the name. “Seriously, I wish they would let me reserve a name,” says the streamer: “Because people imitate me and deceive others by pretending to be me.”
From his perspective, Blizzard should put a stop to this – in doubt, even in such a way that no one can be named Asmongold: “I wish Blizzard would just make sure that this name can’t be taken. It’s just bullsh*t,” says the streamer: “I would even prefer not to get it than for someone else to use it and deceive people.”
Whoever wants to play the new class in WoW WotLK Classic should start today
This is the problem with names: In online games and especially MMORPGs, naming characters is an important aspect, as especially in games with large player numbers, the preferred name can quickly be taken. Then you end up being “Asmonfresh” instead of “Asmongold” – or in doubt “XAsmonfresh2345”.
However, many players have been using the same name in various games for years – they are reluctant to change. With streamers, of course, there is also the component that players quickly consider securing the name.
Since the update 1.2, there is a new resource called Star Silver in Genshin Impact that you can find in the new area Dragonspine. We show you the locations.
What do I need Star Silver for? In general, you can craft different weapons with Star Silver, but also upgrade crystals and other useful items such as a hot water bottle.
While exploring from the area 1.2, Dragonspine, you will also find a quest that requires you to collect 50 Star Silver. That may sound like a lot, but if you hit certain points, it will go quickly.
Where can I find Star Silver Ore? The new resource can be found in large quantities on the mountain Dragonspine, which was released with update 1.2.
The complete map of ore spawn points is available here:
The blue markings on the map show you the locations where you can farm Star Silver.
Areas outlined in red are where ore occurs in particularly high amounts over a small area. These spots are distributed around Dragonspine, especially in the northern area where there is a lot of ore.
Of course, you will also find ore deposits at the summit, but those are scattered and not as recommended for regular farming.
If you focus on the locations where 2 or more ore deposits appear, you can set up a farming route that suits you best. For example, you can start at a teleport point, collect all the ores nearby, and then teleport to the next one.
Do you also have your own farming route for the Star Silver Ore? Feel free to share your pro tips with us and other players in the comments.
In Final Fantasy XIV there are countless cool, cute, and fancy mounts. Here are 35 mounts that you can get quite early in the game or in the free trial version.
Here’s the deal: When you start an MMORPG that has been around for a long time, you see players everywhere with really cool outfits, weapons, and other cosmetic items as a newcomer. And of course, you want them too. You could reach for your wallet and go wild in the cash shop, but there are other ways.
In this list, we show you a number of cool and fancy mounts that you can earn already at low levels. “Low levels” are defined here as level 60 and below. Because although the highest level in FFXIV is 90, at level 60 you are still far from the endgame of the MMORPG.
Additionally, 60 is the maximum level in the free trial version of FFXIV. As a trial player, you don’t have to miss out on traveling through Eorzea on stylish steeds. These mounts are relatively easy to obtain or require “only” time-consuming grinding.
Some cool mounts are available to you automatically in FFXIV. The main story quest runs through the entire game, and along the way, you will receive the above 4 mounts as gifts until the end of the Heavensward expansion. You just have to follow the quests.

You can obtain these mounts from the primal exversions that came to FFXIV with “A Realm Reborn.” Their difficulty is set to level 50, making them quite easy to farm for a small group of level 60 players.
Of course, they are even easier if there is a level 90 player with you. So if you can briefly ask a high-level friend or acquaintance for help, these fights will be a piece of cake. The drop rate of the mounts is also quite high now, and if you catch them all (except Nightmare), you can unlock the stylish Kirin.
Xanthos drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Garuda
Markab drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Ramuh
Gullfaxi drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Titan
Enbarr drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Leviathan
Boreas drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Shiva
Aithon drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Ifrit
Nightmare drops in the content Peak of the Gods: Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan
Kirin is obtained after acquiring all mounts except Nightmare from the quest “A Legend for a Legend” in Mor Dhona (X: 21.7 / Y: 8.7)

These mounts are interesting for those of you who enjoy crafting and gathering resources in MMORPGs. They are available in the Restoration of Ishgard, which can be unlocked at level 60:
Quest Name: Towards the Sky
Location: Foundation (X: 9.7 / Y: 11.5)
“NPC”: Official Application
Once unlocked, you can start immediately with any crafting class from level 20 and gathering class from level 10. You create items or gather resources that the NPCs want from you, and in return, you receive Sky City construction stones, which you can exchange at the NPC Enie for various rewards, including mounts.
Albino Karakul, Antelope Cow, Ufiti, Giant Crab, and Megalotragus each cost 8,400 tokens
Pegasus costs 4,200 tokens
Additionally, crafters receive stamps and coupons for the crafting of items that correspond to their current level. There is a small lottery where you can also win one of the mounts. So, in FFXIV, you don’t always have to dive into battles to obtain new mounts.
Mounts for Achievement Certificates
BehemothMagitek ClawAhrimanMounts that you receive for achievement certificates
Achievements are now an integral part of gaming, and so there is also a huge number of achievements in FFXIV that you can collect. For these achievements, you receive different amounts of points, and these points are converted into certificates.
For every 50 achievement points, you receive 1 certificate. You can exchange these with the NPC Jonathas in Old Gridania (X: 10.6 / Y: 6.2) for rewards, including the above 3 mounts.
Especially as a newcomer, you are practically showered with achievement points. You earn points for:
Leveling up classes
Revealing maps
Completing dungeons, free companies, and certain FATEs
Just for uncovering all maps in La Noscea, there are 60 points, meaning 1 certificate just for a bit of running around. The mounts each cost 6 certificates. So you can comfortably farm them on the side while playing through the MMORPG.
Of course, there are also various other mounts that you can obtain through achievements. Many PvP or tanking achievements will lead you to new mounts. However, they require more grinding.
Dark WolfSanuwaRiding DragonLaurel GoobbueKongamatoCavalry AlbstBommelinBomber PalanquinMounts that you receive from beast tribes.
The tribes in FFXIV are initially introduced to newcomers as enemies. They attack you upon your arrival in the starting area and are encountered as monsters in the open world. However, they can also become allies.
In special quests, you can gain the trust of certain tribes and improve your reputation with them. This starts quite early. The tribes from “A Realm Reborn” can be unlocked at level 41, after completing the story quest “The Dragon of the Stone Watch.” Those in Heavensward become available starting at level 50.
However, there are two catches:
The quests are daily quests. This means you face long grinding until you reach the necessary reputation levels
The mounts are not given to you for free, but cost Gil, which can be scarce early in the game.
They are divided into combat and crafter/gatherer dailies, so there is something for every player type. The following beast tribes are available to you:
The Gold Saucer casino in FFXIV is bursting with mini-games that you can complete to earn the currency MGP. You can then exchange this MGP at the NPCs for various rewards. This includes several mounts.
The Gold Saucer can be unlocked and entered as early as level 15 by the NPC “Wealthy Young Man” (Uldah, Nald Crossroad X: 9.6 / Y: 9), and you can spend as much time there as you want. Therefore, these cool and fancy mounts are available quite early in the game. However, there is a catch: some of them require a lot of grinding.
But if you found joy in mini-games like Mahjong or Triple Triad, you can also collect a ton of MGP for the mounts on the side.
Adaman Taimai requires 200,000 MGP
Master Typhon, Coloss Korpokkur, and Exegeten Throne require 750,000 MGP each
Fenrir requires 1,000,000 MGP
Imperator Cactuar requires a whopping 2,000,000 MGP

In GTA Online there are day and night cycles. But how long does a day actually last in the online world? At some point, everyone asks themselves this question.
In the world of GTA Online, you can play in the light and the dark. Some players don’t care, while others value the bright sun or the shining stars for screenshots and videos.
Here we show you everything about the times in GTA 5 in the story and GTA Online.
In-game times and real life in comparison
A day lasts: A day in GTA Online lasts 48 minutes in real life. One hour in the game passes in two “real” minutes. This means that every 48 minutes money will be deducted from your account to cover ongoing costs for your apartments, your mechanic, or other services.
But what happens to you and your apartments when the bill is due and you have no money left? We checked this for you:
What about the story? In GTA 5, a day also lasts 48 minutes. Unlike in GTA Online, however, time pauses in the pause menu. If you want to skip time, you can go to bed and sleep with the protagonists. However, they all sleep for different lengths of time.
A big leak around FIFA 23 also revealed the ratings of some teams. Players shared the values of FC Bayern. How strong will the German record champions be?
In the Bundesliga, it looks like FC Bayern Munich will once again be the strongest team. This isn’t surprising, as the club has virtually monopolized the championship in recent years and has also acquired exciting players again this year.
However, some of the leaked values are surprising.
On social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit, some users have already shared screenshots of the Bayern values, such as “FC Bayern München News” here (via Twitter):

FIFA 23: Sabitzer the big loser, Musiala the winner in the ratings for Bayern
According to the leaks, the following overall ratings emerge:
Neuer 90
Kimmich 89
Mané 89
Goretzka 87
Müller 87
Coman 86
Gnabry 85
De Ligt 85
Hernández 84
Sané 84
Davies 84
Mazraoui 82
Upamecano 81
Musiala 81
Sabitzer 80
Pavard 79
Gravenberch 79
Ulreich 75
Choupo-Moting 75
Zirkzee 73
Looking at these ratings, the first thing that stands out is: Apparently, FC Bayern Munich hardly receives any notable upgrades compared to last year. Players like Neuer, Kimmich, Goretzka, and Müller all have the same overall rating. Even new signing Mané remains unchanged in the overall rating.
Marcel Sabitzer even receives a four-point deduction compared to last year, and Upamecano is also one point weaker.
The biggest jump is made by Musiala with an improvement from 75 to 81. That is quite remarkable. In addition, Alphonso Davies receives two overall points more, while Hernández increases by one. New signing Mazraoui is also two points stronger than when he was at Ajax.
Another point to note: It is quite astonishing that concerning speed, some pace seems to be taken away. Looking at the speed values, you can see: Something is being deducted here.
A few examples:
Kimmich’s speed goes from 70 to 68
Mané 91 > 90
Goretzka 81 > 78
Gnabry 83 > 82
Müller actually becomes a bit faster – from 67 to 69
Coman 93 > 92
Sabitzer 78 > 72
Sané 90 > 88
Even Alphonso Davies declines despite his overall upgrade from 96 speed to 94.
It stands out: Overall, the speed values seem to be slightly changed downwards. It remains to be seen whether this will be reflected throughout the entire game and whether the pace will generally be reduced at launch.
How final are the ratings? It is generally conceivable that EA will adjust the ratings a bit before the release. The leak surfaced a month before the launch – and EA stated on Twitter that not all content from the accidentally released game build is final.
Whether this also applies to the ratings is still not entirely clear. One thing is certain, however, that these are no longer the current values from FIFA 22.
What do you think about the ratings? Do you find the values fair, or would you wish for different ratings? Tell us in the comments!

Super People has not yet been released but is already performing well on Steam. They have now announced the two popular Twitch streamers shroud and iiTzTimmy as playable characters, but the community is worried that the priorities are misplaced.
What is Super People?
Super People is a battle royale game by the Korean developer Wonder People and is heavily inspired by games like PUBG: Battlegrounds
However, there is a twist: all characters have superpowers, which can greatly disrupt the flow of the game.
On Steam, the game has already recorded up to 50,000 simultaneous players, even though it is still in beta (via steamcharts), and streamers like DrDisrespect and shroud have already showcased the shooter.
However, some recent decisions by the developers have caused dissatisfaction among players.
If PUBG with superpowers could be something for you, you can learn more about Super People here:
Developers give a sneak peek of streamer characters
This is the current status of Super People: On August 30th, the final beta of Super People ended. Fans of the shooter now have to wait until Early Access on October 10th before they can dive back into the action.
Perhaps the announcement on August 31st will shorten the waiting time for players and maintain their excitement. The developers announced via Twitter two new playable characters and also showed some first images.
These are the new characters: With Michael “shroud” Grzesiek and Timothy “iiTzTimmy” An, they have enlisted two popular shooter streamers and immortalized them as playable characters. You can take a first look at the digitized Twitch stars here:

This is how shroud and iiTzTimmy will look in Super People
What abilities the two new Super People will have has not yet been disclosed. It is also not known if more streamers will appear in the game in the future.
Frustration among players: “We need fewer cheaters instead of childish skins”
This is what the fans say: There doesn’t seem to be much excitement from the players regarding the new characters. Although there are some positive remarks and suggestions to include more well-known names in the game, many players have different concerns.
What bothers the players: Essentially, players are annoyed by three things: the servers, the cheaters, and the wait until Early Access. Here are some reactions to the announcement:
PRATTZY asks: “Are we getting decent servers and footstep audio?”
F/A x Kitten has had bad experiences: “These cheaters ruin the competitions! I lost my chance in the finals with some others during the Solo FPP tournament to a cheater.”
Yourself hopes for more pace: “Guys, if you can work quickly, it would be better; otherwise, your player base will die. At least give us current updates about the game to maintain the hype.”
Asith Pussewela doesn’t want to wait so long: “Cool thing, but October 11th, that’s still a month to wait to play the game.”
JM doesn’t even get that far: “It would help if I could actually play the game and not get an error message every time.”
Some players feel that the developers are not setting their priorities correctly. One player believes that instead of “childish skins,” better servers, fewer cheaters, and a series of smaller improvements are needed.
So far, the developers have not commented on the community feedback. Perhaps they can use the time before the Early Access launch to address some of the issues raised by the players.
What do you think, were you convinced by Super People in the beta or are you rather waiting for the final release? Can you find something appealing about the streamer characters, or do you think the developers should rearrange their priorities?
Whether the games like it or not, content creators can no longer be ignored in the gaming scene. E-sports teams are also increasingly hiring streamers for promotion. Some can really benefit from this development:
I couldn’t agree more. It is obvious they are not focusing on what is important. They have picked the worst date for the release and are focusing on nonsense like this. No one wants to look like a streamer they follow, that is a niche market and a waste of time and resources.

After the announcement of Lightfall, the new DLC of Destiny 2 for 2023, the head of Bungie revealed some new interesting details in an interview. On one hand, he makes it clear that they will continue to take content away from you. On the other hand, he also gives an outlook on the new “cyberpunkiness” of Destiny 2. MeinMMO brings you up to date.
This is what Bungie addressed in the interview: With the outlook on Lightfall, Destiny 2 has piqued the curiosity of many players and awakened a neon-lit cyberpunkiness in their hearts. Other announcements also landed like a bomb, such as the fact that Destiny 2 will no longer take content away from you in the future or the integrated LFG system for finding players as well as the loadout system for saving your builds.
Bungie Game Director Joe Blackburn and Deputy General Manager Dan McAuliffe are now in an interview with Tim Clark from PC Gamer have gone into some details of Destiny 2 again.
In doing so, they answered specific questions about Lightfall, archiving popular content, and the long-term future of the Destiny universe.
Why is Bungie making such a drastic aesthetic shift towards cyberpunk?
What has changed that allows them to retain content now when they couldn’t before?
Will there ever be a “I always have enough space in the vault” solution?
And when will updates for the boring playlist activities finally come?

The trailer for Lightfall was an initial glimpse into a modern future in Destiny 2:

Is Destiny 2 becoming cyberpunk now?
The similarities to cyberpunk and the new DLC of Bungie’s loot shooter are undeniable. Nevertheless, this modern shift to the Neptun metropolis in Lightfall is not intended to be a cyberpunk knockoff.
The city indeed has modern buildings with colorful neon signs, but the similarities end there.
One of the main reasons for this drastic design direction change was merely the desire to clearly separate Lightfall from the “The Witch Queen” DLC. The Throne World of Savathun was earthy and dirty. Neomuna is the complete opposite.
Instead of providing players with another terrestrial environment, we asked what a truly strong variation would be. Go up. Become modern. Fabricated instead of grown.
as Dan McAuliffe explains
“Neomuna” on Neptune – The new destination of the Lightfall DLC
In Destiny 2, there will also be impressive inhabitants with six packs and aluminum armor. All of this awaits players in 2023 in the Lightfall DLC when they can enter the new destination “Neomuna” on Neptune.
Cloudstriders were once humans: Many players, including us at MeinMMO, initially suspected that the inhabitants of Neomuna were a new race. But Bungie has since clarified this.
This is “Nimbus” – a Cloudstrider from Destiny 2 Lightfall.
The Cloudstriders are not aliens, but human colonists who fled from the original collapse of Earth and have since developed in secret. Once they have accepted their calling, they will only live for 10 more years. What exactly this means remains a mystery.
They are powerful, but they are not Light bearers. And they will not teach the Guardians the new ability “Strand”.
Rather, Dan McAuliffe confirms that the Guardians will “find something that has never been touched before.” Like the so-called “Tormentors”.
New enemies will be more powerful than the Shining Brood: With “The Witch Queen”, Bungie introduced the Shining Brood. These were new troops of Savathun that also possessed the Light and thus had Light abilities and a super they could use against the players. They made the Guardians experience what it feels like to be killed with their own abilities. In Lightfall, the Tormentors will be their counterpart.
The Tormentors are supposed to live up to their name.
However, some players found the Shining Brood too tame. After a short time, they figured out how to defeat them with ease. Bungie wants to ramp it up a bit, since the Witness is also more powerful than Savathun.
If you don’t know who or what the Shining Brood is, here you can refresh your knowledge:
Joe Blackburn has revealed that the new Tormentors will be enormous inhabitants of the Pyramid ships. He adds that these are also “some of the oldest, most deeply converted” followers of the Witness and Darkness. Visually, they do resemble the Witch Queen raid boss Rhulk quite a lot.
Dan McAuliffe emphasizes that their task is to present new challenges to the players by requiring “all your attention during a solo or group activity”.
Rhulk – The final boss from the raid “Oryx’s Curse”
Seasonal content will still be removed from the game
The best announcement during the showcase was considered to be Bungie’s announcement that they will put an end to the content vault in the future.
Since the system went live in June 2020 for Destiny 2, players have been annoyed by its all-consuming property. It cost them some of the best expansions of Destiny 2, such as once with Forsaken or the Red War. That this is now coming to an end has made many players happy.
Bungie wants to ensure that the coherent story of the “Light and Darkness” saga remains in the game. So that there are no more gaps in knowledge for the active players because important content is no longer accessible.
This would currently include the expansion “Shadowkeep” from 2019.
The expansion “Beyond Light” on Europa from 2020.
As well as the current DLC “The Witch Queen” from February 2022.
However, Bungie has since clarified that the content vault will not die. Seasonal content will still disappear, even if Nessus or the European Dead Zone should remain in the game for now.
The returned Leviathan must still go back into the content vault.
However, Dan McAuliffe also cautions against too much enthusiasm:
It’s not as if we just fixed a bug in the engine and now nothing has to go anymore. We will always have to make tough trade-offs between interoperable systems, great content, and the ever-growing file size.
The removal of content is thus not completely off the table. To make it clearer, we have here a few examples of what may disappear and what not:
The returned Leviathan with Calus would be seasonal content. Bungie will continue to remove this from the game.
Destinations could also fall victim to the content vault if they are not directly used as the destination for an expansion.
However, dungeons like the current “Duality” or the raids will not disappear because they are not seasonal content. Nor will the Starspeed-DLC for Bungie’s 30th anniversary.
What has changed that this is now possible? Bungie has made this improvement possible through an upgrade of the game engine and infrastructure. This now at least allows better resource management and the retention of large, story-relevant content in the game.
However, one must not forget that Destiny 2 cannot grow indefinitely and spread across your hard drives. There will also continue to be a difficult balancing act between content and storage space.
A similar problem also exists with the vault in Destiny 2. With “The Witch Queen”, there were 100 more slots in the vault for all players, but they are already packed full of cool stuff.
The vault is still too small
You can never have too many things!
Alongside the new story content, many new weapons and armor will be added to Destiny 2 with each season and expansion. The cluttered vault is therefore a permanent topic among Guardians, which has been addressed in the interview.
Hardly any Guardian can keep everything they would like to hold on to. Hoarding is popular in Destiny 2 and sorting out is not desired. The meta could change at any time and good or old weapons could become strong again.
Destiny is not like other MMOs: Tim Clark draws a comparison here with World of Warcraft.
A sword in World of Warcraft is basically just a stat stick, but the weapons of Destiny look fantastic and feel like it too, so players form an emotional attachment to them.
Craft weapons if you have no space in the vault: Bungie has chosen to go a new route by introducing weapon crafting. Players should keep beloved weapons, but still be able to adapt them flexibly to a changing meta at any time.
This is also what they want to maintain in the future: In the long run, the system can reduce the pressure on players’ vaults. It just needs to be made more attractive, as players do not seem to accept the new system as hoped.
Tim Clark from PC Gamer therefore suggests to Joe Blackburn that they make the system even more attractive. For example, by working on enabling players to quickly switch between two different perk options or receive an additional set of perks at certain levels.
Even though Joe Blackburn does not make any promises, he seems to like the thought that players could be more variable with it.
When will fresh air come to the stale playlists?
Bungie hasn’t “freshened up” the Vagabond for a long time.
Once you are deeply immersed in the Destiny universe after a while, you often repeatedly play the three common playlists in the Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit.
Especially in the Vanguard, you still encounter such old strikes that include voice lines from deceased NPCs. Some Guardians have been wondering for a long time when fresh air will finally come there.
And indeed, Joe Blackburn and Dan McAuliffe give hope to the Guardians who are running the weekly hamster wheel.
One initial step was, for example, to take the Battleground Mission into the strike rotation. And for Lightfall, Bungie seems to be planning further refreshes.
We will put a lot of work specifically into the Vanguard around Lightfall. We are going back to some strikes and updating them.
Dan McAuliffe mentions
It is certainly not going to be a replacement for every strike. What exactly changes and how good these changes will ultimately be, Guardians will probably only find out with Lightfall 2023.
The end is sealed: Destiny 2 will conclude with the final expansion “The Final Shape”. The new DLC Lightfall essentially marks the beginning of the end. One should be aware that afterwards there will no longer be a grand Light and Darkness saga. This means an essential part that has accompanied many players for years will probably disappear.
Bungie instead wants to open a new chapter and create a large “Destiny universe”. Tim Clark suggests that Joe Blackburn has already mentioned in conversation the next 10 years of Destiny. Perhaps this is the way to a new MMO-FPS hybrid that hardcore players have dreamed of for years.
What do you think of the announcements? Does it sound like a rosy future for Destiny? Or does it not appeal to you at all? Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments.
At least Spider is already having fun in Destiny 2 by rewarding you with armors that even esteemed Guardians wouldn’t touch with a pair of tweezers:
A British competition authority has doubts that the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard would benefit competition in the gaming market. Xbox head Phil Spencer responded with a blog post, promising that Call of Duty will be available on Game Pass along with other major brands from Activision Blizzard.
However, the deal is not finalized yet. Competition authorities worldwide are monitoring the process and analyzing its impact on the market. They want to exclude an excessively powerful market position for Microsoft.
What has happened now? According to “gamesindustry.biz”, the British competition authority CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) has classified the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard as detrimental to competition in an initial review phase. The report states:
[The purchase] is expected to significantly reduce competition in a market or markets in the United Kingdom.
Two arguments led the competition authorities to their conclusion:
The deal could lead Microsoft to “withhold or weaken” Activision Blizzard’s content from other consoles or subscription services.
Microsoft could leverage its broader ecosystem along with Activision’s catalog to “create barriers to entry and exclude competitors from cloud gaming services.”
In a second phase, further steps are now being examined, and Microsoft has the opportunity to address the authority’s concerns.
In the podcast from MeinMMO, we also talked about the deal:
How does Microsoft respond? In a statement from Xbox head Phil Spencer, the manager makes it clear that no protectionist measures are planned. On the contrary. They want to enable more gamers to access the games.
This is not limited to Xbox. They want to enable players to decide how and where to play. Whether on mobile, PC, or console – developers will benefit from these possibilities, and that is the goal: more innovation through greater availability.
This is to happen in two ways:
The subscription option through Game Pass
Make more games available on mobile, for example through cloud services
Then Spencer says exactly what Sony has been fearing over the past few months:
The Game Pass enables developers to provide more games for more players, not fewer. We intend to make Activision Blizzard’s popular game library – including Overwatch, Diablo, and Call of Duty – available on Game Pass and to expand these gaming communities. By providing players with even more value, we hope to continue to grow Game Pass and extend its appeal to mobile devices and all connected devices.
Furthermore, Spencer promises that Call of Duty will also continue to appear on PlayStation in the future. He even states that CoD will be released on the same day as on all other platforms.
As an example, he mentions Minecraft, whose developer Mojang was acquired by Microsoft in 2014. They have had good experiences by keeping the game open for all platforms instead of closing it off. They want to do the same in the future with titles from Activision Blizzard.
Spencer believes that a thorough examination will show that the deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard enriches the industry and benefits players.
So CoD Day-1 in Game Pass? How the current announcements will affect the release of Call of Duty in Game Pass remains to be seen. Currently, there are no indications that the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available in Game Pass at launch.
However, the older games, the CoDs from recent years could land in the Pass quickly. Some of them are still actively played, especially the predecessor of the latest CoD – Modern Warfare from 2019.
For now, it remains to be seen how the situation develops. Whether the deal will even go through. But this announcement could turn into a nightmare for Sony, which they desperately want to prevent. Also considering the games from Blizzard:
At gamescom 2022, numerous new games were presented and exclusive first insights into the upcoming titles were given. MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus was able to see Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn in gameplay and sees it asthe ideal game for anyone who needs new content after Elden Ring.
What is Flintlock? At the beginning of 2022, the new action RPG in the Dark Souls style was introduced. In Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, you play as the soldier Nor Vanek, who tries to protect the remnants of humanity as part of the army.
Because the undead are flooding into the world after the Ancient Gods have returned and opened the gates to the underworld. With axe, pistol, and a cute, magic-endowed companion, you face undead foot soldiers, mini-bosses, and the gods themselves.
The developers showed a live walkthrough with several battles and answered some questions I had about the game and the world. We have the latest trailer with gameplay from gamescom here for you:

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn – Neuer Trailer von der gamescom 2022
The gameplay looks promising, the world absolutely crazy
This is what I saw in gameplay: In the short hands-off session, the developers showed me the combat system and the world of Flintlock. From the gameplay perspective, the game strongly resembles the genre-defining Soulsborne games.
With axe and pistol, one of the two developers carves his way through enemies and faces elite opponents and later even one of the ancient gods. He showcases variations of melee and ranged combat, as well as magic and dodge jumps to master the fights.
The setting is more oriented towards the early 19th century, using gunpowder and flintlock pistols as special gameplay elements. However, Flintlock is packed with many fantasy elements and features completely crazy characters, as you might know from Dark Souls.
As an example, the developers show me an undead that consists entirely of hands. Undead engage in the activities they enjoyed in life. These hands are obsessed with offering good coffee and have therefore opened “Coffee Shops,” which serve as fast travel points.
This strange coffee shop owner immediately reminded me of Dark Souls.
Unfortunately, the story is currently not dubbed in German, but only in English with German subtitles. However, the developers do not want to rule out that a voiced synchronization might come later.
How much “Souls” is in Flintlock? Flintlock features many functions familiar to veterans of the Soulsborne games. Thus, parrying, ambushes, and various attack combos are part of the gameplay.
An interesting twist: Depending on how you attack, you receive different loot from enemies. If you kill them with the pistol, you receive armor. If you kill them with the axe, you receive ammunition. Magic is used for support to weaken or stun enemies.
There will also be a skill system that we have not yet seen live. However, you will be able to build various builds with different focuses such as dark magic, axe and armor, or pistols and explosives.
The highlight of the presentation: the fight against an ancient god.
Flintlock, however, takes an approach that leans more towards adventure and arcade styles. It is possible to jump properly and even necessary. In the shown boss fight, several attacks occurred that could only be avoided with timely jumps.
Travel skills such as double jumps and short flights with your fox are also necessary to discover secret paths. Flintlock mixes several genres here.
In response to the question of where the developers see themselves between Dark Souls and Horizon: Zero Dawn, the answer was: “Interesting comparison. We would rather say, in the middle between Elden Ring and God of War.”
The focus of the game is on Nor’s narrative and communication with her environment. The universe should feel alive and grand, the story profound. It feels as if a film and a game have been made at the same time.
What particularly excited me was the language of the gods. This is not just gibberish, but actually a language developed with the help of linguists, according to the developers.
The community wants to know that they have mastered a game that challenges them. […] The difficulty was that you can’t just introduce difficulty levels to make the game easier. Because the heart of the game is this fine line that you always need to feel. […] If you play in hard mode, then you always have this fine line and get the full Soulslike experience. […] If you play in story mode, then you get the deep story in full.
It should be noted that the entire story should also be easily accessible, without having to dig through countless wiki articles, as is often the case in the original Soulsborne games.
The closeness to Elden Ring is also evident through optional bosses in Flintlock that can be completed in the open world in any order for additional rewards.
With magic, your companion can incapacitate enemies. An elite enemy in Flintlock. The victory over an ancient god is celebrated. There are various types of enemies.Undead are your enemies in Flintlock. The companion masters magic.
Flintlock will be released in early 2023, but without coop
When and where will Flintlock be released? The new action RPG is set to be released in the first quarter of 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Epic). However, we still do not know how much it will cost.
Is there multiplayer? No. As the developers explained to me, they wanted to focus entirely on the story with Flintlock. There will be neither a coop nor a PvP mode, as one might know from invasions.
However, more games in the universe are planned. The plan is to expand Flintlock with other games. Since Ashen, the studio’s predecessor game, already had a coop mode, it is possible that later titles will support multiplayer.
In the video, we present our highlights from gamescom 2022:

MeinMMO at gamescom 2022 – Here are our highlights
My impression of Flintlock is overwhelmingly positive. Even at the replacement shows of E3 2022, the game was one of my highlights, especially since rarely used settings like the era of flintlock pistols excite me immensely.
Although I generally struggle in Soulslike games, I am looking forward to Flintlock, especially since it could hit my niche with the story mode and the somewhat adventure-like game mechanics. At the same time, the hard mode should be ideal for anyone who is slowly running out of things to do in Elden Ring and waiting for the next Soulslike.
Unfortunately, Flintlock will be a single-player game, but a bit of relaxation without voices in your ear is certainly a pleasant change. And for those who do need coop in their games, The Last Oricru is coming:

If you take a look at the “Newbie Chat”, you will encounter players seemingly in despair typing messages like “wave” or “type /wave to Gor’groth” every minute. This is because Blizzard does not explain well how this quest works – but it is actually quite easy once you know.
In the quest “Right Beneath Their Eyes” the character must escort the allies through the ogre camp and then perform an emote.
The first quest step is still quite simple, just follow the markers on the minimap, as with all previous quests.
Gor’groth – you need to wave at him.
However, once you reach the cooking area of the ogre camp, your quest objective will change. The quest requires you to wave at Gor’groth.
This is how you wave at Gor’groth:
Look for the large ogre mage Gor’groth – he has two heads and is hard to miss. Left-click on him so that he is your current target.
Now open the chat window by pressing the Enter key.
Type in the chat “/wave” (without quotes) or alternatively “/wave”.
Your character waves at the ogre and the trick works.
After that, you will receive a new quest objective and can pass through the camp unhindered to reach the next marker on the map.
