Today, Wednesday, September 28, the huge September update is coming to Lost Ark. While there are no exact patch notes yet, there will be up to 16 hours of server downtime. However, Amazon promises many gifts as compensation.
What kind of update is this? The monthly update has always been adhered to in Lost Ark, but the September version is simply enormous. In addition to a new class and a new Legion Raid, there will finally be server merges.
The goal is to revive somewhat extinct servers by merging them with other servers. The technical framework for this was implemented in the game a few weeks ago, which resulted in a full day of server downtime due to technical difficulties.
Why is it taking so long? According to the developers, the long downtime is due to these server merges. They must simply move incredibly large amounts of data from one server to the next, they say in the forum.
Regions where no servers are merged will therefore only have 4 hours of server downtime and can play the new update much earlier. However, there will be merges in the regions of West Europe, Central Europe, and South America, so you should all expect up to 16 hours of downtime.
The regions will be restarted individually and independently as soon as the merges are completed. We will keep you updated on this article.

Many gifts for the downtime – Spread over 2 weeks
Compensation for the downtime: Due to the long server downtime, a two-week event will follow in the affected regions, where you can collect even stronger rewards than usual by logging in daily.
This special login event will start as soon as the servers are back online and is supposed to last until October 12. As a reward, you will receive 5 million silver on the first day, but the rewards otherwise are impressive too.
Many upgrade materials, card packs, and even 20 pheons are among the gifts, for which you just need to log in daily. A complete list of the gifts can be found directly on playlostark.com.
How the server merges work
Which servers are affected? Server merges will take place in both European regions. We will list which servers are exactly affected here:
What should you consider if you are affected? It is important to clearly distinguish between two groups of players. If you only have characters on one of the two servers, there’s actually nothing to consider. You can simply click on your new server today and everything should work as usual, just with a different name.
It gets complicated, however, if you already have characters on both servers that are to be merged. Then there are countless detailed rules that you can read in full at playlostark.com.
In principle, the “better” part of each server setup will be retained. Account storage will be merged, as well as materials. Many of your collected items and currencies will simply be added together.
The pirate MMO “Skull and Bones” promises naval battles in the style of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. However, Ubisoft keeps delaying the game. It has now been postponed for the fifth time. The release was originally planned for 2018, with the last date set for 2022; the current launch date is now March 2023. Players are starting to doubt whether the game will ever be released.
“Skull and Bones” was first announced in 2016. The promise: A standalone version of the naval battles from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. This resonated with many players, as the thrilling naval battles had left a lasting impression.
Now, 6 years have passed and the game has been postponed several times. During Ubisoft Forward in September 2022, a showcase event for the publisher Ubisoft, they promised Skull and Bones for the end of 2022.
But that seems to be off the table again. A new release date is March 2023. However, many players are beginning to wonder if the game will ever be released.

But after the first announcement, it became surprisingly quiet regarding the pirate MMO. Ubisoft has reportedly made many changes behind the scenes. The focus was initially supposed to be on PvP battles, but now PvP is said to be just an optional component of the final game.
Particularly absurd is the thought that Ubisoft also announced a TV series for its pirate MMO. Since its announcement in 2019, not much has been heard or seen about this series.
And with the constant delays of the game, it remains questionable whether Ubisoft still wants to invest more money into this franchise when it’s already struggling with “Skull & Bones”:
In Destiny 2, there was a wave of bans: Apparently, Bungie wanted to prevent cheating in the new, old raid “King’s Fall.” But some players seem to have been banned unfairly. One of them runs an important site called D2Gunsmith and is now quitting.
What was this ban wave about?
As Sportskeeda explains, Bungie wanted to combat “Net-Limiting”: This cheating technique allows players to manipulate data and achieve abnormal rates of fire with weapons.
When applying Net-Limiting, one creates a slow internet and lag, allowing one to easily eliminate even a powerful boss.
To address this method, which caused unfair conditions, especially in raids or dungeons, Bungie initiated a large wave of bans. They apparently aimed to specifically curb cheating in the raid “King’s Fall.”

This player has been affected: One of the players that got banned is active on Twitter under the name aundra_kerr. He runs D2Gunsmith: a site where players can create their dream weapons.
Because Destiny 2 notoriously reveals very little information and makes everything as complicated as possible, such clear sites are popular among Destiny 2 fans: They can spend hours there imagining how their “dream weapon,” the God Roll, will look.
Destiny-2 players’ hearts soar: like a child in a candy store.
The operator of the site felt completely unfairly banned and furiously announced: That’s it for Destiny 2 and his site. He claims he has done nothing wrong, possibly some internet issues led to his ban. But he doesn’t care about that now. He has already uninstalled Destiny 2.
He didn’t want to know about anything. He also had no desire to file a complaint against the ban. He said: The last time someone was “falsely banned” and complained, they had to fight non-stop for 8 months to get unbanned. He really has better things to do.
Moreover, this is now an ideal excuse not to have to manage the website any longer.
The operator of the site announced that he would withhold open transfers from people, but he does not want to make the source code available to everyone. Otherwise, the site would be back online in just 2 days, but filled with advertisements.

Players in Destiny 2 tell him they understand his frustration and thank him for the many efforts he put into his site for Destiny 2. But some are already disappointed that such a valuable site may soon not be updated and lose its utility. Especially the layout was appreciated.
Well, maybe he will gather his courage and return to Destiny 2 with a major expansion – just like some do who quit out of disappointment.
What’s behind this: It’s something very human. When people volunteer so much time into something, they expect recognition and perhaps privileges, even if they don’t say it outright. But in some way, they want to feel like they play a special role in the larger community.
But when they feel from the company that they are just a name in the system and are treated just like everyone else, it can lead to a dip in motivation. And apparently, the good man felt a type of relief after deciding to give up the website, being freed from the obligation.
For players, it’s always hard to get banned. Even worse if you really did nothing wrong – but even if you were a bad guy, a ban hurts:

These strong players could make it: Already the first TOTW in FIFA 23 featured strong cards for Son (90), De Bruyne (92), Valverde (86), Immobile (87) and Traoré (85). The second Team of the Week could continue just as well with fresh Inform cards for the following players:
Lionel Messi: The Argentine scored twice in the 3-0 win against Honduras and could secure a spot in TOTW 2. If EA includes him, FUT players can expect a formidable card.
Mohamed Salah: A similarly strong performance was delivered by Mohamed Salah in the match Egypt against Niger. Just like Messi, Salah scored 2 goals, ensuring a 3-0 final score. A place in the new TOTW would therefore be deserved.
Bruno Fernandes: The offensive midfielder of Manchester United delivered a strong performance in the match Portugal against the Czech Republic, managing a goal and an assist. It remains exciting to see if he makes it into the new TOTW.

But one man refused to go down silently: Niklot “Tolkin” Stüber (24).
Why was the game so important? It was about promotion to the 1st Prime League:

Why was the play so risky? The Summoner spell Flash is extremely important and has a long cooldown. If you “flash blind” and there’s no one where you expect them to be, you can end up looking like a fool wasting your important tool. Or Tolkin could have jumped into instant death, surrounded by 4 players ready to take him down: a highly risky play.

How was the kill perceived? The casters of the game had almost given up on the game but suddenly saw it as a sign of life from NNO. In the cast, it was said:
Tolkin from Hell, just goes over this wall […] even shot blind, I believe. Didn’t even see him. […] A ray of hope for NNO, who will probably secure the 2nd Drake because of it and that’s only because Tolkin – and this has to be said – really has balls of steel and just goes over there against 3 men.
This is what happened after the kill: As the casters said, it was actually just a glimmer of hope – just a nuance that normally shouldn’t make much difference: Then Hertha would win 5 minutes later. But no.
This one action from Tolkin completely changed the course of the match. Suddenly, all of NNO played two to three classes better:
It turned the other 4 players into “very good LoL players”,
but Tolkin, who was already playing strong before, became a hard-hitting killing machine, succeeding in every close duel and becoming the match-winner for NNO.
In the further course of the encounter, he scored another solo kill in the top lane, successfully tanked 3 enemies in the teamfight, and almost took down the base all by himself at the crucial moment.

When the series ended and the choice of who the MVP of the match was came up, there were 3 players to choose from: Tolkin, Tolkin, and Tolkin.
The players from Hertha, on the other hand, suddenly seemed to doubt everything. After missing the chance to move to the LEC, it wouldn’t have made sense to keep trying, so he went “into retirement”. However, if he can play 1st league Prime League again with his friends at NNO, that would be cool.

In Call of Duty: Warzone there is a big discussion about cheating. The Twitch streamer Nadia Amine is suspected by many of secretly using cheats. Former world champion Doug “Censor” Martin wants to investigate this now. The topic polarizes the player community.
What is the conflict about?
People are currently obsessed with proving that the successful 22-year-old Twitch streamer Nadia Amine cannot really play Call of Duty.
When Amine had to play on a different setup at the “CoD Next” event, YouTubers made videos about how absolutely terrible the 22-year-old supposedly plays “without her hacks.”
However, they took videos out of context and edited them to show only one bad round of Amine, while not showing the better rounds. The streamer explained that during this round, in which she looked so terrible, she had some technical problems.
The streamer sees the criticism against her mainly as a sexist attitude. “Boys” simply cannot accept that a woman is better than they are.
How is it currently going? Essentially, there is now this narrative: “The attractive woman cannot really play, and it’s all just fraud.”
However, the streamer fights against this impression, participates more in live events, and plays Call of Duty with the e-sports organization “TSM” to prove that she is really “clean” (via twitter).

When does the first Weekend League start? Date and Time
When does the first Weekend League in FIFA 23 start? The first FUT Champions Finals begin on Friday, October 7 at 09:00 AM. This is revealed by the in-game menu of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
You have until Monday, October 10 at 09:00 AM to complete your 20 matches and collect as many wins as possible.
How does one qualify for the Weekend League? To qualify for the Weekend League, you must first collect Division Rivals points. To do this, you play Rivals matches until you have collected 1,250 points. Once that’s done, you can redeem the qualification points to participate in the FUT Champions Play-Offs.
There you must climb the so-called “Ladder” to qualify for the “Champions Finals”. If you achieve that, you can finally get started with the Weekend League, and great rewards await you, assuming you win a few matches.

What are glyphs? In Wrath of the Lich King Classic, glyphs are consumables that can be crafted by the new profession Inscription. With glyphs, you can tailor your class abilities to your playstyle.
They enhance certain abilities or even add new effects. Depending on the gameplay, you should use different glyphs. Unlike in modern WoW, you consume your glyphs upon use.
In WotLK Classic, glyphs are tied to your talents. When you learn a glyph, it remains active until you replace it with another glyph or redistribute your talents. If you replace a glyph with another, the original glyph is lost – similar to enchantments on items or gems.

How do glyphs work? Glyphs differ in two types: Major Glyphs and Minor Glyphs.
Major Glyphs change or enhance individual class abilities, such as the duration of a damage-over-time effect. Minor Glyphs can, for example, reduce cooldowns of abilities or ensure that certain spells no longer require reagents, and cosmetic effects are also possible.
You can use 3 major glyphs and 3 minor glyphs at level 80. You unlock the slots at different levels:
Level 15: Access to 1 major glyph and 1 minor glyph
Level 20: Access to the second major glyph
Level 50: Access to the second minor glyph
Level 70: Access to the third minor glyph
Level 80: Access to the third major glyph
Where does the information come from? MeinMMO has been on the lookout for the best glyphs for you, browsing through numerous guides, such as from wowhead, as well as class discords. Below you will find a list of the best glyphs for your class and specialization.
We also differentiate between glyphs that are suitable for leveling and those intended for max level. We focus on major glyphs since minor glyphs can usually be chosen according to personal preferences.
Where do I get glyphs? However, there is a peculiarity regarding both types of glyphs: Scribes cannot simply learn all glyphs from the trainer. Many glyphs must first be unlocked randomly through the “Northrend Inscription Research” skill.
Then you can either turn to a glyph that we recommend for leveling or choose freely at your leisure. It is always better to use any glyph than to use none at all.
What about minor glyphs? We recommend only major glyphs here, as these have the greatest influence on your character. While there are some useful minor glyphs, their utility is usually not that great.
However, keep in mind that this list is meant to be a guideline only. If you prefer other glyphs because they better suit your playstyle, that’s perfectly fine!

Wild Hearts is a hunting game where you hunt the Kemono monsters and collect loot in a continuous loop to become stronger. At first, that sounds like a clone. However, Wild Hearts actually has a unique twist that has not been seen in other hunting games before.
Before the reveal of Wild Hearts, I was able to learn more details about the hunting game from the chief developers Edagawa-san and Hirata-san. The studio behind Wild Hearts is Omega Force, known for their association with the hunting genre mainly through Toukiden.
MeinMMO: How long has Wild Hearts been in development?
Edagawa-san: We started with the concept four years ago.
MeinMMO: Wild Hearts looks very much like Toukiden on paper, a hunting game that you developed. It was often criticized as a clone of Monster Hunter. How does Wild Hearts differ from Monster Hunter?
Hirata-san: Yes, we developed Toukiden, but Wild Hearts is something completely new. It does not rely on the elements seen in Toukiden. The biggest difference from Monster Hunter is that we combine building elements with hunting.
Dynamic building like in Fortnite
MeinMMO:In the trailer, you can see that players build different structures like towers while hunting. I had to think of Fortnite, where you can also build during battles. Did I understand that correctly?
Hirata-san: Yes, you understood correctly. However, it is not exactly like in Fortnite. It’s something new to combine crafting with a hunting game.
MeinMMO: Could you explain in more detail why it is unique?
Hirata-san: The player uses something called Karakuri. That is a building technology. In the game, you can [during the hunt] directly erect these Karakuri. There are different types that you can use, some of which you have seen in the trailer. For example, you can stack boxes to build a tower.
This way, you can quickly gain elevation [over the monster] by climbing up. You can also use a para-glider and fly to attack the monster directly from the air. Additionally, there is a spring to help you move faster. All these things can expand your skills during combat.
Additionally, you can combine all these different Karakuri to create a larger and stronger Karakuri.
MeinMMO: What does the gameplay look like exactly?
Hirata-san: The basis is similar to other hunting games. You start with exploration and discover the map, you encounter the Kemono monsters and start fighting against them.
In our game, we have Karakuri. You collect the materials [that you need] on the map to be able to build the Karakuri. The materials can be collected anywhere on the map. The monsters in the game are also merged with nature. You gather materials when you defeat the Kemonos.
The cycle is to defeat the monsters and gather material for the Karakuri to create Karakuri.

Play the entire story together in coop
MeinMMO: That sounds really interesting, and I am excited to see how it plays. Another topic that interests me is the 3-player coop. What are your social features like?
Edagawa-san: There are two types of matchmaking systems. The first is a quick hunting experience. Players can go on a single hunt together, and then they go their separate ways.
The second type is the 3-player coop. In this scenario, we believe that players want to stay together longer and hunt together longer. Here, players are connected throughout the entire world and can experience the story together.
We also just explained how Karakuri can be used during a battle. Karakuri can also be used during exploration. They can help you move around more easily or assist in cooking. You can use these things together in coop.
No open world, but seasons
MeinMMO: You said that you can simply roam around with friends in coop. How much freedom do you have there exactly? How open is Wild Hearts?
Edagawa-san: At the beginning of development, we discussed the concept of an open world. But we decided against it. One of the most important concepts of a hunting game is to defeat the monsters repeatedly. We don’t think that fits well with an open world.
However, Wild Hearts is set in Japan, and we have the concept of four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each season is huge on the map. Within the map, you can even use Karakuri to unlock hidden places.
MeinMMO: Do you have to deal with environmental effects in different seasons? Will you freeze in winter, for example, and need protection from that?
Edagawa-san: There are no environmental effects, like the example you gave. So you don’t need special clothing to stay warm or anything like that.
However, you will encounter different Kemono that can trigger environmental effects. You will need different strategies for those.
Thanks to four seasons, you encounter different weather conditions, which also affect the appearance of the Kemono monsters.
MeinMMO: I would love to learn more about your beasts. You have already said that the monsters are merged with nature, and this is well seen in the trailer. The monsters appear very grounded and natural. Will that remain so, or can we expect something completely different later on? I say, for example, a crazy case: dragons combined with planes shooting lasers at us.
Edagawa-san: I don’t want to reveal too much about the later stages of the game yet. What I can say is that Wild Hearts has the concept of combining reality with fantasy.
The animals are simply merged with nature.
At least 30 hours of gameplay, but over 100 are possible
MeinMMO: Of course, without revealing too much, what direction is your story going?
Edagawa-san: The basic story is that you are in a place called Azuma [in feudal Japan], which is full of Kemonos, monsters merged with nature. There are places there where people used to live.
Now Kemonos have essentially taken over the world. As the protagonist, you deal with various problems to make the places of the world habitable again for humans.
MeinMMO: How long do you estimate the gameplay will be?
Edagawa-san: That’s difficult to estimate. If you only play the main story without side quests, it should take about 30 – 40 hours. But of course, this is a hunting game, and there are plenty of things to do.
So if you go beyond the main story, it will easily be over 100 hours.
No in-game purchases at launch
MeinMMO: Are you planning to continue developing the game after launch? Is there a DLC strategy with new monsters?
After a lot of whispers behind the scenes, it was decided to leave this question unanswered.
MeinMMO: Will there be an in-game shop for things like skins?
Edagawa-san: We can’t reveal anything about DLCs yet. However, we currently have no plans to offer in-game purchases at launch.

MeinMMO: Lastly, I would like to know what your motivation behind Wild Hearts was. Why did you want to make this game?
Hirata-san: As you know, we developed Toukiden with Mega Force, which is also a hunting game. We haven’t made a hunting game in a long time. We wanted to create a hunting game that meets the needs of today’s players.
By allowing players to build with Karakuri and influence their environment, we thought we could create something really new.
MeinMMO: What exactly do you mean by today’s players?
Hirata-san: We talked about Fortnite earlier. In modern games like Fortnite, we see the creativity of players having a significant impact on the gaming experience. When we developed Toukiden, we didn’t have this type of environment.
Today, players are much more flexible, and we wanted to give them exactly that and the opportunity to express their creativity.

The billionaire club of GTA Online has now gained a new member. A user shows how much playtime he invested in the game before reaching this huge milestone.
How hard is it? Becoming a billionaire in GTA Online is a tough task. At least, when done with the officially allowed means. Hackers can gain cash in a matter of moments, but they violate the game’s rules and risk being banned.
Those who want to accumulate such a sum with heists and other “legal” methods need a lot of patience. A player recently celebrated themselves on reddit with a thread titled “Finally! 1 billion.”
Player earned money while being afk
How much time did he need? The creator of the thread, jamcar70, showed in his post a screenshot of his Social Club profile. There, you can find information about his money. He currently has 10 million GTA dollars as cash. One billion GTA dollars is stored in his bank account.

How much time does he play daily? In the comments, a user took the effort to calculate what these 2 years and 34 days of playtime mean when calculated from the release in 2013. “That’s nearly 6 hours per day, every day since the release in 2013,” writes MIster–WrenchH. But this shouldn’t just be regarded as active playtime, other players mention.
How does it work? “I bet a large part of this time was spent being afk waiting for the businesses to fill up,” writes Matttombstone in the comments. This refers to a mechanic in GTA Online. For example, if someone owns a cocaine lab, they bring the ingredients to the lab and then wait hours for their team (NPCs) to process the ingredients into a product. That, in turn, can then be sold for profit. However, the drug labs only work if you are actually logged in to an online session. If you just stand around afk in the world, you will automatically get kicked from the session after a few minutes and be moved to single-player.
Such a mechanic, where a feature works in the background while playing GTA Online, can be found at various points in the game. And jamcar70 also utilized such a method. “Afk at the security cameras to maximize nightclub revenue,” writes the user. By watching the security cameras in the game, you are prevented from being ‘kicked for afk.’
Typically, the tactic is used so that one sits at the desk in the nightclub and activates the security cameras there. Then one can leave the console or PC and after hours collect the income that the businesses in GTA Online have generated. So it can be assumed that the user did not spend the 18,000 play hours actively in the game.
RuneScape launched its so-called fresh start worlds on September 26, 2022. Players are supposed to start from scratch and rediscover the MMORPG together. Afterward, characters can be continued on the regular servers. However, there were massive problems.
On the new servers, players start with XP boosts, special buffs, and cool rewards in RuneScape. You can also earn alternative skill capes. Players are to start on completely fresh servers that impress with a new economy and a large marketplace.
Those who want to play on the fresh start world must create an account specifically for that and purchase a membership. The character can be transferred to the main game at any time along with progress and rewards. However, there is no going back to the fresh start world afterwards.
Here’s the problem: Players who log into the new servers suddenly find themselves back in the main game. The account along with the purchased membership is lost in most cases because transferring back to the fresh start world is not possible. There were also initial problems in RuneScape with a graphic update.
Developer Jagex then took both types of servers, the new ones and the main game servers, offline to fix the issues. A rollback is taking place.
It is currently unclear how much progress players will lose. It is equally unclear whether and how they will be compensated.
Players disappointed and hoping for refunds
In a post on reddit, user DisperseRS warned on the afternoon of September 26 against logging into the fresh start worlds. He was affected by the problem, had found himself directly in the main game, and lost his package that he had purchased for several months.

We still do not know how the developers will react to the problem and whether players will get their money back. However, given the uproar, it seems quite likely. Of course, we will keep you updated on upcoming information.

The MMORPG Aion is now also available in Europe in its Classic version. Last year, the server launched in America, which made EU fans envious.
Aion is an MMORPG from developer NCSoft, which has been around for a few years. Released in 2008, it came to the West in 2009.
As fans gradually wished for the old version of the MMORPG back, a version of Aion was released that started from scratch – without all the updates and patches, except for a few exceptions for bugs and balance updates.
You choose one of the 4 base classes and can play PvE content up to level 50; it did not go further back then. Additionally, there are Rift and Fortress fights in PvP.
However, there will also be adjustments. The client uses version 2.7 to retain some conveniences and balance adjustments. Previously, leveling took longer and you received fewer experience points. This has been eased and remains in the Classic version of Aion.
Until now, the Western version of Aion Classic was only available in America. However, in a stream on Twitch, the developers announced that the game version will also come to Europe.
Restrictions in Free2Play
The biggest change compared to the regular servers is the fact that you need a subscription to have the best gear and the best leveling experience. The Free2Play version significantly restricts you and is nearly unplayable.
Players were particularly bothered by the battle pass, which can be purchased to enjoy further advantages – in addition to the subscription. It is called “Siel’s Aura” and gives you more experience points, extra materials, and the ability to trade directly with players. 30 days of Siel’s Aura cost 15 dollars, and 90 days are available for 42 dollars.
The item “Tiger Candy” is also causing excitement. Players can buy it in the real-money shop and resell it in-game. It can be sold to NPC merchants for 100,000 Kinah, the in-game currency of Aion.
In Europe, NCSoft will not serve as the publisher of Aion Classic. Gameforge will take on the role instead. Therefore, there are slight hopes that there could be some adjustments on the EU servers that might make the game less Pay2Win-heavy, as it was originally promised.
Players are skeptical about Aion Classic
The American version of Aion Classic quickly died because the publishers made some mistakes. Under a post on reddit, there is now a discussion about whether things might run better on the EU servers or if it will fail just as badly. Many players are also looking forward to experiencing the old content anew and indulging in nostalgia.

In Pokémon GO numerous events are taking place in October that will bring you various monsters and bonuses. You should definitely mark a spotlight hour in your calendar. We will explain why it’s worth it and what the community thinks about the event here on MeinMMO.
What events are happening? In Pokémon GO, various types of events are held every month. In addition to events with special themes, such as the upcoming Halloween event, certain Pokémon are also highlighted during Community Days and Spotlight Hours.
While mostly only weak monsters can be found during spotlight hours, one of these short events in October is sure to impress. So be sure to mark the spotlight hour on October 11th in bold in your calendar. We will show you why it is worth it.
What the spotlight hour on October 11, 2022 brings
What is a spotlight hour? In Pokémon GO, every Tuesday for one hour a specific monster is highlighted and spawns almost everywhere in the game during the short event. Additionally, you can expect a special bonus that should round out the event.
Another spotlight hour will take place on October 11, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time in the game.
Which monster will you get? During the spotlight hour on October 11, you will encounter the Ghost- and Poison-type Pokémon Haunter. It will spawn everywhere in the wild. You can even attract more specimens with incense.
This is the bonus: In addition to the numerous Haunter spawns, you can also look forward to a special catching bonus. For each monster caught, you will receive double Stardust.
Why you shouldn’t miss the spotlight hour
Why Haunter is worth it: Haunter is a Ghost- and Poison-type Pokémon from the first generation of games. Its pre-evolution is Gastly. Haunter can rely on a solid attack value, but its stamina and defense are somewhat weaker. Therefore, the monster doesn’t play a significant role in raids and the GO Battle League.
However, Haunter has the strong evolution Gengar, which you can obtain using 100 candies or through a trade. Gengar has a high attack value, and its stamina is also solid.
With a moveset of Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball, it deals substantial damage as a Ghost attacker. And although it doesn’t have a Poison-type quick attack, it can also impress as a Poison attacker in raids with a combination of Sludge and Sludge Bomb. Gengar is among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the Ultra League, Gengar can also secure a place at rank 36 with a moveset of Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball, and Dark Pulse. Furthermore, it has a special Mega Evolution that you can activate temporarily. This is stronger than Gengar and therefore ideal for use in raids.

Pokémon GO: The strongest attackers of all types in the video
Farming XL Candies: Since Haunter is an evolution, you can look forward to plenty of XL candies at this event. With evolutions, you are guaranteed one XL candy per catch starting at Trainer Level 31, so it can be even more with a bit of luck.
You will need these if you want to level up Haunter. You need a lot of them from Pokémon Levels 40 to 50.
Free Evolution: To evolve Pokémon in the game, you usually need a certain number of candies. However, Haunter is one of the monsters that you can evolve in Pokémon GO for free through trading. So it’s worth finding a trading partner.
This is especially beneficial for players who haven’t been playing for long and therefore have few candies, but also for anyone looking to save their stash. Additionally, by trading, you might also secure yourself a lucky Pokémon. You can find out how high the probabilities are in the following article:
Use the Stardust Bonus: In addition to Haunter, the bonus from the short event is also worth it. For each Pokémon caught, you can secure double Stardust. This is important if you want to level up or trade monsters.
For this reason, it is beneficial for all trainers who want to boost their Stardust reserves. To farm even more, you can combine this with a Star Piece, which will give you additional Stardust for 30 minutes.
As always, the bonus also applies to all other monsters you catch during the event period. So if you’re not interested in Haunter, you can also do raids or activate a Mystery Box.
No, while Haunter is already available in its shiny form in the game, it cannot be caught as Shiny. And there is no known possibility for the spotlight hour on October 11 for this either.
So anyone wanting to secure a Shiny Haunter for their collection needs to catch a Shiny Gastly. While this will not spawn during the spotlight hour, the Halloween event is also taking place in October, thematically fitting for the little Ghost- and Poison-type Pokémon. It has always been part of this event in recent years.

Respawn, the developers of the Battle Royale Apex Legends, recently received so much hate online that the rapper and Twitch streamer Faheem “T-Pain” Najm (37) had to intervene – he advised critics to simply go outside.
Background: Respawn, the development studio behind the successful Battle Royale Apex Legends, recently reported an increase in hate against the team. In a Twitter post from September 23, they stated that the line between constructive criticism and harassment had been crossed.
Respawn also reminded players that they have zero tolerance for threats against employees and announced that they intend to take “appropriate action.”

How does T-Pain come into play? The rapper and multiple Grammy winner has been running his own Twitch channel since April 2021. He mainly operates in the “Just Chatting” category but also enjoys showcasing a shooter or two, like Apex Legends.
On Twitch, over 865,000 people follow the rapper, with up to 16,254 watching live when he is on air (via sullygnome, as of: 28.09.2022). The cover photo comes from a promotional video T-Pain filmed for the strategy game Crusader Kings III (via YouTube).
What did he say? On September 24, T-Pain shared a screenshot of Respawn’s post. He apparently found it in the Apex Legends subreddit. He addressed the critics with strong words. They should all just relax.
After all, it’s just a game, and if you hate it so much, you could play something else.
To those who are “so invested in a game” that they “feel the need to threaten the people who work hard on it,” he advised: just step away from the console or PC.

On the very first day of Early Access, there were hours of server issues with FIFA 23, and players could not use any online modes. Now there’s a storm of criticism for EA Sports.
What happened? A server down caused frustration among FIFA players yesterday evening, on September 27th. The big problem: The server down came completely unexpected and precisely on the first evening of Early Access.
Players who specifically purchased the Ultimate Edition to gain early access to FIFA 23 were left empty-handed and could not use any online modes of the football simulation. The web and companion app were also affected by the outage, preventing players from accessing their Ultimate Team.
Only offline modes like kick-off or career were playable.
How long did the problems last? Players could not access the online modes of FIFA 23 for just over 2 hours. Around 7:30 PM German time, the issues were resolved.
Players express dissatisfaction with server issues
This is what the FIFA community says about the server issues: On reddit, the server issues are being discussed heatedly. Many players are upset that they could not play FIFA on the first release evening and are demanding compensation from EA.

In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, you can play a new mode: “FUT Moments.” It acts as an exciting addition and brings good rewards.
What kind of mode is that? The “FUT Moments” mode complements the FIFA 23 release the usual modes in Ultimate Team. It is a single-player mode where you play against the AI.
But: No complete matches, just quick tasks that last only a few moments. And it might be worth taking a look at it.
This is how the mode works: When you open the mode, you will find different “tiles” that contain multiple task sets. Inside, there are short gameplay situations that you need to complete.
