Primal Chaos – You need this material
What do I need Primal Chaos for? With this material, you can craft the best items in Dragonflight, such as a neckpiece that is currently “BiS” for most classes. You also need Primal Chaos to create a (Concentrated) Primal Infusion from collected primal focus or concentrated primal focus.
The infusions are optional crafting materials that you can use to bring crafted items to an item level corresponding to mythic raids. You also need Primal Chaos for the strong potions from alchemists.
If you are eager for the crafted items, you don’t have to level a profession yourself. It is enough if others can do it.
With the new profession system, you can simply place an order, and someone else will craft the items for you. You only need to provide the materials and make them available. This also works with soulbound items like Chaos.

Back then, it was said: They want to venture on a “journey into a completely new universe”, meaning nothing related to StarCraft, Warcraft, or Overwatch. Additionally, the game is supposed to be a “place full of heroes”, apparently an MMO or at least a multiplayer title. Blizzard indeed has expertise in that.
I’ve already completely dissected the teaser and looked at 5 details about the new survival game more closely. Since then, however, there has been silence around the game, and no new info has come, except for the note from Blizzard’s head Mike Ybarra that he has already played it. So it seems to be relatively far along in development.
Now there is a new blog post from Ybarra to wrap up 2022. There, the head gives insight into the past year at Blizzard and reveals new details about the upcoming survival title.

This is now known: In the blog post, Ybarra explains that the development team behind the new survival game has grown to twice its size during the year. However, we do not know exactly how many developers are currently working on the game.
However, Ybarra reveals that Dan Hay has been hired as the General Manager of the game. Hay was involved as:

In addition, Hay worked as a Senior Producer on Fear 3 and Fracture, among others. It’s hard to derive anything for Blizzard’s new game in terms of gameplay from that, but maybe the title starts with an “F”.

When will the survival game be released? So far, we can only speculate about when and where the new game will be released. With the new information, however, I strongly assume that by the end of 2023, the first playable version in the form of an alpha, beta, or early access will be available.
If Ybarra has already been able to play, the team is now twice as large, and a new head is working on the title, it seems that they are apparently working to finish it soon. On the other hand, Diablo 4 got a new head in 2020 and its release is now not until June 6, 2023.
Still, it would be a clever move to bring the new IP out in 2023, especially with WoW being one year into the new addon and wanting to keep Blizzard fans engaged with new opportunities. However, 2023 will also see a bunch of new survival games, which Blizzard would then have to compete with. I am eagerly waiting.
Cheaters can now influence what players see in the popular shooter Rainbow Six: Siege and show huge chickens on the players’ screens.
What do the cheaters do? Currently, curious video clips are circulating in the community of Ubisoft’s popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege. Cheaters have managed to access the game’s ban log and project images onto the players’ screens.
With the ban log, the game displays a ban wave. It shows the IDs of players who have been banned in the current ban wave.
One of the first videos that circulated with the curious cheat came from the Twitch streamer and YouTuber Athieno. He was just about to take down his opponent when a huge image of a chicken appeared on his screen, blocking his view and causing him to lose the shootout.

However, not only images of chickens are displayed. The cheaters seemingly have the freedom to choose what the affected players should see. A player on reddit showed a fortunately censored video in which a penis was projected onto his screen.
The German e-sports player and Twitch streamer Levolution also fell victim. He had an image displayed which represented the layout of cheat software. This clip can also be seen on Twitter:
Who can it affect? In principle, it can affect anyone. You don’t even have to be in the same round as a cheater for them to display an image on your screen.
For example, it also affected the professional match of the e-sports teams Astralis and Oxygen Esports. This was broadcast on the Twitch channel “NerdStreetR6” when viewers saw a huge chicken instead of the sight of Oxygen player Nuerss (via Twitter).
What danger exists for affected players? Of course, it is highly likely that you will lose your gunfight when you suddenly cannot see anything. However, this is the comparatively lesser evil of the cheat, which still seems quite funny with a chicken.
It is also possible that indecent or even disturbing images will be displayed. Additionally, there is a separate danger for Twitch streamers, as certain content cannot be shown during a livestream, and broadcasting such content can lead to a ban.

How can one protect themselves? Those who do not want chicken images or worse can reportedly protect themselves with a simple setting according to some players. You only need to disable the “Bans” option in the HUD settings under match information. However, Ubisoft reported on Twitter that they have temporarily disabled the “Ban ticker” that displays the images to the players.
While you won’t be able to see which players are currently being banned, you will be protected from an unwanted image on your screen. Nevertheless, it is clear that with this cheat, the cheaters in Rainbow Six: Siege have reached a new level. And this is despite speculations in November about a secret new strategy of the shooter against cheaters.
Marc Jacobs is one of the largest Western MMORPG designers ever. He was behind the success of Dark Age of Camelot and was responsible for Warhammer Online. After some tough years with his new game “Camelot Unchained” he claims he has hit another homerun, he cheers. And this is despite being constantly told he needed to focus on crypto projects and Web3.
Mythic was acquired by EA in 2006, and Jacobs developed the MMORPG “Warhammer Online” for the software giant, which incorporated many ideas from DAOC but ultimately fell short of expectations, never able to reach its full potential and was discontinued in 2013.
Disappointed by the big corporations Jacobs became independent in 2011 and founded the studio “City State Entertainment”, where he works on the crowdfunding game “Camelot Unchained”, a spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot. However, for years, the project was under a dark cloud: it lacked funding, success, and personnel.

How do I activate the event? You don’t need a public session for the event, but you do need to be in the game for a bit – about 20 minutes.
After that, you need to fly to Weazel Plaza at a specific in-game time – it’s best to use an armed helicopter for this.

How do I complete the event? If some police helicopters are flying around the roof, the event is active. Eliminate all enemies on the roof to complete the event. Be aware that the police can also be dangerous.
One of the enemies up there is particularly tough and takes a lot of damage before going down. This is the GTA version of Hans Gruber, who also drops the new weapon. You will then need to pick it up yourself to unlock it.

What is the speech about? The second season of 7 vs. Wild is coming to an end, and Knossi is in a good mood on the morning of the seventh day. Although he misses his family, he knows he will see them soon.
Soon after, Knossi talks about his time on the island, explains to the viewers that he is one of them, and says that this is how he survived the time there. He then finds a few emotional words to describe the experiences he had.
What does Knossi say in his speech? In his emotional speech, Knossi says that the 7 days were beautiful and that he didn’t miss his phone. He needed such a break, as his body required it. Moreover, the 36-year-old emphasizes again how important it is to take time for oneself:
That was the complete breakdown for me. No phone, nothing. That was beautiful. That was really nice. It was also a bit as if my body needed it, as if I really wanted it. […] When I turn on the phone tomorrow and it shows ‘here’s an appointment’ and ‘there’s an appointment’, then everyone can lick my ass. What is 7 vs. Wild? It is a survival series on YouTube, in which seven participants must survive for seven days in a remote location in the wilderness with a maximum of 7 items and the clothing on their bodies.
The series is a massive success. After season 1 gained many fans in 2021, season 2 continues the victorious march. The currently youngest episode 14 has already achieved 2.7 million views on YouTube just under 20 hours after its release (as of December 22, 2022).
In Destiny 2 there has been the dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” since Season 19. Alongside a lot of Vex, playing in the Mars desert also brings real cowboy vibes. However, guardians have now discovered that an armor item from the activity has dropped almost less frequently than some raid exotics. Anyone wanting to visually become a gunslinger will need a lot of patience.
Which item is it? Currently, the guardians are farming the new Wild West dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” in Season 19. Alongside the top loot, there are as always weapons and specific armor to earn.
On one hand, there are western weapons with wooden inlays. These include the scout rifle “Long Arm”, the void grenade launcher “Wild Flight”, the machine gun “End Station Horizon”, and the pistol “Threshold Watch” as well as two old Seventh Seraph weapons
Additionally, there is the first real cowboy outfit in worn leather style, which depending on class is called either “Moss-“, “Earps-“, or “Cockburns-” tailored suit
The most visually important piece of this tailored dungeon armor is definitely the cowboy hat and many guardians are on the hunt for it. However, the stylish western piece for the head is probably so hard to obtain that players are now suspecting intent from Bungie.

Anyone wanting to be a true cowboy has to grind long
Rare drop rates leave players puzzled: The new dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” has been in the game for almost three weeks now. Normally, it’s not a big problem for a guardian to get all items from the activity at least once within this time frame. This also includes the coveted cowboy hat.
But it simply doesn’t drop for many players and seems almost as rare as a raid exotic, for which you also have to grind for weeks.
Therefore, some players now believe that this is more than just bad luck and that Bungie has intentionally made the drop rates of the cowboy hats rare. That’s the only way to explain the extremely low drop rates.
On reddit, the player sunder_and_flame attempted to break down the exact numbers of the ominous cowboy hat drop rates. To do this, he referred to the statistics from light.gg and warmind.io.
This statistics overview was shared by a player via Destiny-reddit
The chance of obtaining the armor pieces, such as leg and chest protection, is according to his numbers a reasonable 66 – 75 %.
In contrast, however, the cowboy hat drops for all classes only with a probability of 20 – 25 % – almost 5x rarer than the other armor pieces.
Comparing with the hunter reveals even: The drop of the cowboy hat is twice as rare as obtaining the exotic dungeon bow “Hierarchy of Demands”.
Thus, the new cowboy hat in Destiny 2 is a really rare item, even though it ultimately is just a simple legendary purple armor. Not a raid or dungeon exotic that deserves to be rare and justifies the grind.
The inquisitive guardian also emphasizes that, to his knowledge, this is not the case in any other dungeon for non-class items and that one has similarly rare drop rates there.

Clearly, cowboy hats are now also sought-after items in Destiny 2, making it reasonable for Bungie to make them a rare hunt as well. Similar to what we already know from the ridiculously low drop rates for pets in WoW.
This small statistic is not absolute proof that this is really the case and that Bungie has indeed made it harder for you. But it could at least explain why guardians in Destiny 2 have to wait so long for their own cowboy hat.

What kind of event is this? Trymacs is hosting a sports event again with “Der Große Kick”. A total of 6 teams consisting of German influencers will compete in indoor football. The streamer has already organized the boxing event The Great Fight Night on Joyn.
In addition to an “incredibly cool” football tournament, Trymacs also promises a lot of fun in the disciplines of “Bubble Football” and “human table soccer”. In human table soccer, participants will probably be secured to their respective positions with rubber bands (via YouTube).

These influencers are participating: On Instagram, Joyn shared some information about the event. As captains of the 6 teams, alongside Trymacs, the streamers and YouTubers MckyTV, Fritz Meinecke, Marc Eggers, Amar, and Rewinside will be at the start.
A Twitter user also shared a screenshot from Trymacs’ Instagram story. Besides Trymacs, 30 more participants emerge (as of December 16, 3:00 PM).
By now, all participants are known and the teams are set. There has been another change: instead of MckyTV, Abugoku is now the team captain. Trymacs promises that none of the participants have serious football experience. He himself belongs to the better ones among the participants.
Trymacs himself will be in a team with his brother and his gamer friends. Other teams also show a theme: Amar competes with the “Stuttgart Bubble” while Fritz Meinecke will send a survival team into the race.
Originally, Twitch streamers MontanaBlack and EliasN97 were also supposed to act as team captains. However, as reported on the venue’s website, the change in plans may have influenced potential participants (via Lanxess Arena).
Instead, MontanaBlack will co-host the event with Marc Gebauer, with streamer and caster Konni Winkler serving as the commentator.

4 well-known MMORPGs are leaving the German publisher Gamigo.They want to improve the players’ experience.
The developers of Last Chaos, Aura Kingdom, Shaiya, and Grand Fantasia want to create a better experience for players. A more suitable service is needed, which is why Nexon, T-Entertainment, and X-Legend Entertainment are ending their collaboration with their current publisher Gamigo.
The company Gamigo does not have the best reputation
Behind Gamigo is investor Remco Westermann and his group “Media und Game Invest”. He originally wanted to buy, renovate, and resell Gamigo. However, he recognized the current potential of video games and kept the company.
His primary focus is on growth rather than the games themselves. The strategy is not to develop large new titles, but to buy successful games and expand them. Four of them are now leaving him.
What does this mean for the games? Last Chaos and Shaiya will be distributed in the future by indie publisher Fawkes Games. Grand Fantasia and Aura Kingdom will be taken over by the developer X-Legend itself.
Each of the MMORPGs issued a statement regarding the transfer. “To provide better service next year, we need to end part of our old infrastructure,” it says, for example, on Shaiya’s site. It was not an easy decision, but it is supposed to make the experience and gameplay more pleasant for active players.
Player progress will be retained
What will happen to the data? The player data will be anonymized during the transfer. You will receive a private token via email, with which you then carry out the transfer to the new publisher. However, this does not happen automatically; each player must take care of it themselves.
The MMORPGs intend to provide appropriate transfer services in January. They ask their players to check the email addresses of their accounts.
They also ask players to spend their Aeria Points as soon as possible. These are points that can be used to purchase content for real money, which currently only works in the publisher’s shop. After the transfer, you will no longer be able to use the points, as the currency will change.

What can the Centerpiece from Finalmouse do? While many modern keyboards have RGB LED lights purely for decoration, the Centerpiece features entirely interactive skins. These are realized on a dedicated display beneath the transparent keys, powered by the Unreal Engine 5 along with its own CPU and GPU.
Consequently, the resources required for the software are provided by Finalmouse’s latest hardware itself, preventing any performance degradation for connected PCs or laptops.
The mentioned skins for the keyboard come in the form of interactive animations that react to your pressed keys or even play games, as can be seen in the announcement trailer.

Finalmouse Centerpiece Keyboard Reveal
The first reactions to the presentation of the Centerpiece are almost exclusively positive. For example, a user writes in the YouTube comments: “This is a masterpiece, but no longer [just] a keyboard.”
What are the interactive skins of the keyboard? The announcement trailer shows how a running lion is controlled via arrow keys in a kind of minigame, or how small waves form after a key press in a pool full of Koi fish, which the fish avoid.
You should be able to store three of these animations and games simultaneously on the keyboard. With a simple press of a button, it will then be possible to quickly switch between them or turn them off completely.
How many animations will ultimately be available for the Centerpiece is currently unclear. However, the manufacturer promises a kind of shop system for additional skins via the company’s proprietary Steam app called “The Freethinker Portal.” The community will also be able to submit their own designed skins and animations, make them available for others, and even monetize them.
Additionally, sharing skins outside of this shop system will be possible. For example, it is planned to be able to transfer skins to the accounts of friend Steam users. This transfer then takes place via the integrated USB C port. Consequently, the Centerpiece is a wired keyboard.

What is known about the keys so far? The manufacturer speaks of a unique key feel and a special acoustics of the keys. These are also unlabelled to create the greatest effect of the illumination. With software, all keys can be configured in any way – for example, for the German QWERTZ layout.
The keyboard is offered in a 75% format. This means it is smaller than popular TKL keyboards that still offer certain features of the number pad.
What other information is there? So far, Finalmouse has not released any further details regarding the technical specs of its latest creation; thus, display size, brightness, resolution, or refresh rate of the animations are currently unknown.
However, it is certain that the keyboard will be released in early 2023 at a price of approximately 350 €.

The streamer mira is primarily active on Twitch in the categories Just Chatting, GTA and Hot Tub. That should be it for now, as the streamer was banned from the platform on December 19. Mira strongly disagreed with this. On Twitter, she railed against Twitch – claiming that the platform discriminates against women’s bodies.
What was that ban about? As announced on December 19 through the Twitter account “StreamerBans”, mira received her second ban this year. She had already been banned in March for unknown reasons – according to mira, because she is Russian and “born in the wrong country”.
Once again, mira did not share the notification from Twitch indicating which community guideline she allegedly violated. However, she explained that she was banned because her nipples were visible through the fabric of her dress.
According to Twitch’s relevant guidelines on “Nudity and Attire”, “those who present themselves as women must cover their nipples.” Transparent or partially see-through clothing does not count as covering the nipples (via twitch.tv).
It seems that mira is particularly bothered by this section and sharply criticizes Twitch.

What does the streamer say? On Twitter, mira commented on her ban. She accused Twitch of reinforcing misogynistic systems and discriminating against women’s bodies. Especially the fact that the guidelines are specifically directed only at women annoys the streamer.
If it is allowed for men’s nipples to protrude from under their shirts, mira argued, then women should be allowed to do so as well. The streamer also explained that she should not be banned for “wearing socially appropriate clothing for comfort without underwear”.

23 hours after her post, mira’s ban was lifted. In total, the suspension lasted for 1 day, 5 minutes, and 48 seconds. Whether the tweet was responsible for lifting the ban is unknown.

What happens next? The ban and its lifting sparked quite a buzz on Twitter. A post that summarized the whole story in 4 images received over 8,000 likes and more than 150 comments.

In the comments, there was plenty of discussion. Besides the question of whether the ban was justified, some users ponder whether the lifting was a direct result of mira’s criticism.
Then, the argument goes, that would set a dangerous precedent for “certain streamers” to simply “tweet their way out” of a ban, while others would have no choice but to serve their suspension (via Twitter).
In the meantime, mira is already back on Twitch. On Twitter, she joked that she just needs to quickly get some tape to cover her nipples for her stream (via Twitter).
Twitch has been criticized in the past for its ban policy. One reason is that the reasons for a ban are not always clearly communicated. Additionally, the platform is accused of not applying the guidelines equally to everyone – some being banned for disproportionately long periods for a violation, while others get off with a slap on the wrist.
