What is 7 vs. Wild? It is a survival series on YouTube, in which seven participants must survive for seven days in a remote location in the wilderness with a maximum of 7 items and the clothing on their bodies.
The series is a massive success. After season 1 gained many fans in 2021, season 2 continues the victorious march. The currently youngest episode 14 has already achieved 2.7 million views on YouTube just under 20 hours after its release (as of December 22, 2022).
In Destiny 2 there has been the dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” since Season 19. Alongside a lot of Vex, playing in the Mars desert also brings real cowboy vibes. However, guardians have now discovered that an armor item from the activity has dropped almost less frequently than some raid exotics. Anyone wanting to visually become a gunslinger will need a lot of patience.
Which item is it? Currently, the guardians are farming the new Wild West dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” in Season 19. Alongside the top loot, there are as always weapons and specific armor to earn.
On one hand, there are western weapons with wooden inlays. These include the scout rifle “Long Arm”, the void grenade launcher “Wild Flight”, the machine gun “End Station Horizon”, and the pistol “Threshold Watch” as well as two old Seventh Seraph weapons
Additionally, there is the first real cowboy outfit in worn leather style, which depending on class is called either “Moss-“, “Earps-“, or “Cockburns-” tailored suit
The most visually important piece of this tailored dungeon armor is definitely the cowboy hat and many guardians are on the hunt for it. However, the stylish western piece for the head is probably so hard to obtain that players are now suspecting intent from Bungie.

Anyone wanting to be a true cowboy has to grind long
Rare drop rates leave players puzzled: The new dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar” has been in the game for almost three weeks now. Normally, it’s not a big problem for a guardian to get all items from the activity at least once within this time frame. This also includes the coveted cowboy hat.
But it simply doesn’t drop for many players and seems almost as rare as a raid exotic, for which you also have to grind for weeks.
Therefore, some players now believe that this is more than just bad luck and that Bungie has intentionally made the drop rates of the cowboy hats rare. That’s the only way to explain the extremely low drop rates.
On reddit, the player sunder_and_flame attempted to break down the exact numbers of the ominous cowboy hat drop rates. To do this, he referred to the statistics from light.gg and warmind.io.

The chance of obtaining the armor pieces, such as leg and chest protection, is according to his numbers a reasonable 66 – 75 %.
In contrast, however, the cowboy hat drops for all classes only with a probability of 20 – 25 % – almost 5x rarer than the other armor pieces.
Comparing with the hunter reveals even: The drop of the cowboy hat is twice as rare as obtaining the exotic dungeon bow “Hierarchy of Demands”.
Thus, the new cowboy hat in Destiny 2 is a really rare item, even though it ultimately is just a simple legendary purple armor. Not a raid or dungeon exotic that deserves to be rare and justifies the grind.
The inquisitive guardian also emphasizes that, to his knowledge, this is not the case in any other dungeon for non-class items and that one has similarly rare drop rates there.

Clearly, cowboy hats are now also sought-after items in Destiny 2, making it reasonable for Bungie to make them a rare hunt as well. Similar to what we already know from the ridiculously low drop rates for pets in WoW.
This small statistic is not absolute proof that this is really the case and that Bungie has indeed made it harder for you. But it could at least explain why guardians in Destiny 2 have to wait so long for their own cowboy hat.

However, the event was under a bad star and cannot take place as planned – we from MeinMMO show you how Der Große Kick is now proceeding, who the participants are, and how you can watch the show.

What kind of event is this? Trymacs is hosting a sports event again with “Der Große Kick”. A total of 6 teams consisting of German influencers will compete in indoor football. The streamer has already organized the boxing event The Great Fight Night on Joyn.
In addition to an “incredibly cool” football tournament, Trymacs also promises a lot of fun in the disciplines of “Bubble Football” and “human table soccer”. In human table soccer, participants will probably be secured to their respective positions with rubber bands (via YouTube).
Originally, the event was supposed to take place as “Kick auf Eis” on an ice surface, but entertainer Stefan Raab abruptly ended these plans: He threatened with fines of up to 500,000 euros, as the concept was too close to one of his own formats.

These influencers are participating: On Instagram, Joyn shared some information about the event. As captains of the 6 teams, alongside Trymacs, the streamers and YouTubers MckyTV, Fritz Meinecke, Marc Eggers, Amar, and Rewinside will be at the start.
A Twitter user also shared a screenshot from Trymacs’ Instagram story. Besides Trymacs, 30 more participants emerge (as of December 16, 3:00 PM).
By now, all participants are known and the teams are set. There has been another change: instead of MckyTV, Abugoku is now the team captain. Trymacs promises that none of the participants have serious football experience. He himself belongs to the better ones among the participants.
Trymacs himself will be in a team with his brother and his gamer friends. Other teams also show a theme: Amar competes with the “Stuttgart Bubble” while Fritz Meinecke will send a survival team into the race.
Originally, Twitch streamers MontanaBlack and EliasN97 were also supposed to act as team captains. However, as reported on the venue’s website, the change in plans may have influenced potential participants (via Lanxess Arena).
Instead, MontanaBlack will co-host the event with Marc Gebauer, with streamer and caster Konni Winkler serving as the commentator.

How much does the event cost? The football event will be free to watch on Joyn. Tickets start at €32.49, for a premium ticket you have to pay at least €55. Ticket sales are conducted through the website of the Lanxess Arena.
After the rocky start, Trymacs’ football event can hopefully now take place without further incidents. With his Twitch colleague MontanaBlack, it was different. His show “Get Away!” had an accident, and the viewers’ reaction was rather mixed.
