5 old MMORPGs that are still actively played

Counter-Strike 2 heralds a new era – The most important changes in the video
The hope remains: With Counter-Strike 2, developer Valve aims to usher in a new era of the shooter. After the release in summer 2023, the game will be reshuffled.
We will keep you updated on this topic. If there are any news, you will find out about it on MeinMMO. Currently, there are absolutely no indications that suggest a console release.
However, there is a tiny glimmer of hope.
There have been rumors for a while that Half-Life: Alyx is being adapted for PSVR2. Alyx runs on the “Source 2” engine, just like Counter-Strike 2. If the plans are real, it could be an indication that the new engine offers more tools that could help with a console port.
As mentioned before, however, this is pure speculation.
What’s new in Counter-Strike 2? The aim is to provide players with a polished version of the aging CS:GO while also bringing important systems up to date or improving them.
Many maps are being revamped, effects are being taken to the next level, and the netcode is getting a fundamental renovation.
The 6.4 update of Final Fantasy XIV will be released at the end of May. In addition to all the battle and quest content, there will also be new content for the private island: garden furniture!
This is the island in question: When players complete the rather long story of FFXIV up to patch 6.0, they can unlock their own private island, where they can build structures, take care of animals, and produce various items that can then be sold for special currency.
Like many other players, I was very much looking forward to the island after the announcement. According to FF14 head Naoki Yoshida, it was supposed to be more relaxed and slower content (even though reality turned out differently). You can prepare production, let it run in the background, and count the money from selling materia and dyes.
The only disappointment for me and many others was that you couldn’t really customize the island personally. All players received the same buildings and layout, and you couldn’t place housing furniture. But that will change with patch 6.4.
Here’s what’s new: In the producer stream for patch 6.4, the chief, Naoki Yoshida, stated that the private island will now also receive its own furniture and showed the first screenshot of what that might look like.

In the picture, you can see various items that decorate the gardens of FFXIV houses, and they look amazing. You will be able to unlock up to 90 slots for such furniture pieces as you level up your island.
The option finally makes it possible for my island to really feel like mine. It has been a lot of fun leveling it up and catching the animals (except for the Apkallu – that one was annoying), but it looked exactly like my friends’ islands.
However, I am still cautious with my optimism. It sounded in the producer stream like there would be restrictions on where and how the items can be placed.
My hope is that we can use all currently available garden furniture on the island. I want to have them all.
A demonstration is set to follow in the next stream for patch 6.4.
What other content is coming? In addition to the island update, patch 6.4 will also have the usual abundance of content. The release of the update is scheduled for the end of May, likely on May 30.

The main story quests will continue. According to Yoshida, we are now slowly entering the hot phase before the next addon.
Final section of the 4-man raid Pandaemonium in normal and epic. The epic version will be released one week after the update goes live.
But first, the small patch 6.38 will go online on April 8. It will lift the weekly loot restrictions in the raid Pandaemonium: Abyssos, bring some balance adjustments in PvP, and start the next season of the PvP mode Crystalline Conflict.
