The Twitch streamers Fanfan and PaymoneyWubby made a small appearance with a clip in a movie and earned 2,000 dollars each for it. They didn’t even have to put in any effort.
Why do the Twitch streamers get so much money? PaymoneyWubby and Fanfan probably didn’t think much about it about half a year ago when they streamed Minecraft together. They were talking about the fact that there is probably always at least one person in the world who is currently masturbating.
A clip of the stream was uploaded to a highlight channel of PaymoneyWubby and even reached some people, as the clip on YouTube reached over 3 million views.
It seems that the team of the film Roommates also became aware of this clip, as did Adam Sandler, one of the producers of this film. The clip was apparently so suitable for a scene in the movie that Fanfan and PaymoneyWubby were paid for the permission to use it.
High payment for no extra effort
How much did the two get? The two received 2,000 US dollars each for their performance, totaling 4,000 US dollars. The clip lasts a total of 18 seconds, but only 6 seconds were used. PaymoneyWubby said exactly 6 words, for which he then received this high payment without any further effort.
PaymoneyWubby mentions in a clip on Reddit that according to the team of Adam Sandler, the actor himself saw the clip, found it funny, and actually wanted it specifically for this scene.

PaymoneyWubby and Fanfan are by no means the only Twitch streamers whose clips are used for movies. It is becoming increasingly common for content creators to be specifically booked for films.
