Who are the new characters? A well-known NPC from Liyue is debuting as a playable 5-star character in version 3.6. We are talking about Baizhu, the owner of Bubu Pharmacy. He is a Dendro and Catalyst user. His constellation is called Lagenaria.
Regarding his ability it is said: “Baizhu can generate a seamless shield with healing effects for your group members at regular intervals. Certain reaction DMG caused by characters healed by the Seamless Shield will be increased” (via Genshin Impact Special Program).

Additionally, NPC Kaveh will also be playable, an architect and roommate of Alhaitham. He is a 4-star character who is also part of the Dendro element. He fights with a claymore. Kaveh’s constellation is called Paradisaea.

What makes Dredge so good? The game tells its story through dialogues with the various people on the surrounding islands and on Großmark. You will quickly notice through these conversations that something is not right.

Every NPC advised me not to go out with my cutter at night. However, since we are humans and love risk, I thought to myself, “It can’t be that bad?” Despite the warnings, I went back onto my cutter and out into the night to fish – at least until the fog completely swallowed the ship.
Now I thought to myself, “Great, and how do I find my way back to the village?” Bright buoys and a lighthouse served as my orientation, at least until my ship collided with some rocks. The longer I stayed in the dark, the more panic my sailor felt.
This meant that he saw things like rocks only later. Upset by the collision, I saw in the depths of darkness another crewed cutter. A feeling of relief overcame me, as I thought this was another fisherman … Well, wrong thought.
So I drove closer to the boat, until it transformed into a huge angler fish with an open mouth and completely demolished my cutter. Shocked by the incident, I asked myself, “How the hell? What happened? What is that thing?!” With my cutter demolished, my seaman barely made it back to the village, but my question marks kept growing.

Conclusion – Who is the game worth it for? The game is especially worth it for players who love to unravel mysteries. Dredge draws you into this mysterious world and makes you root for your sailor. There’s also some spookiness, as I underestimated the night and was taught a lesson.

The next CEO of Square Enix, Takashi Kiryu, mentioned in a stream that he plays the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. However, he is not as experienced as his wife.

The announcement about Yosuke Matsuda’s resignation raised hopes among some Square Enix fans. The former CEO repeatedly mentioned in his letters to investors that the developer wanted to focus more on NFTs in their games. This did not sit well with many gamers.

Which ammunition should you use? For assault rifles, machine guns, and snipers, high-velocity ammunition remains the best choice. The CoD pro “TheXclusiveAce” found that especially submachine guns benefit from the mid-season update.

What should you pay attention to when tuning? In the gunsmith, there are two different sliders for tuning that affect the handling of the weapon. The diagram in the middle shows you how the changes specifically take effect.

On the horizontal axis, you set the recoil stability or bullet speed.

Some may think I’m crazy, perhaps you’re right. Gaming is an expensive hobby, I tend to exaggerate a bit. My professional microphone, which I only use for Teams and Discord, could probably sing a song about it.
This also applies to my super-expensive favorite controller: the SCUF Reflex FPS. I’ve had this thing for a year, mostly playing Call of Duty or Battlefield on the PS5.
And even though I’m completely convinced of the gray-black beauty, I cannot recommend the controller to you. The price is simply too high. Still, I regret nothing and if I had to make the purchase decision again, I would buy it again.

Haptics, advantages, luxury – I love this thing
What is so great about it? The greatness can be broken down into 3 factors:
The grip feeling
The small advantages
The luxury product
The SCUF Reflex FPS comes with rubberized surfaces for a firm grip. Standard for pro controllers. What makes the Reflex FPS so special is what it lacks. The vibration motors have been omitted, the adaptive triggers as well. As a result, the controller is very light.
I even weighed it:
SCUF Reflex FPS: 236 g
DualSense Edge: 334 g
DualSense: 282 g
50 grams less compared to the DualSense sounds a bit insignificant at first. In reality, the Reflex FPS feels feather-light in the hand. A noticeable difference when playing. The Edge feels like a ton when you pick it up after the SCUF controller.
Then there are the small but fine gameplay advantages. I don’t need any crazy “Ultra Performance Thumbsticks.” Although the FPS Reflex has them, they don’t really matter to me.
What’s really cool are the triggers, that is R1/L1 and R2/L2. They are basically buttons like those known from mice, so-called instant triggers. It’s a fantastic feeling to know that no one else in the match can shoot faster than I can.
For PC players, this may sound odd, but for me as a trained controller soldier, it’s an everyday problem.
The difference is in the milliseconds. With a time-to-kill of 200 milliseconds, such as in CoD: Modern Warfare 2, this brings advantages. Especially against players using R2/L2 to shoot and a regular PS5 controller.
Ultimately, the luxury factor also comes into play. I worked hard for this thing, paid a lot, waited a long time for it. And of course, for 45,- Euro I also added the matching case to the shopping cart.
The feeling while playing, but also the little high when I hand a fascinated visitor the Reflex FPS is simply priceless. There are rarely products that excite me in this way. But this thing somehow managed it.
Purchase price and warranty simply do not match
Why no recommendation for a purchase? The price and the warranty terms.
280,- Euro for a single controller is simply too much. That’s four regular DualSense controllers. I had my eye on the controller for a long time and weighed forever whether to get the Reflex FPS. I do not regret the decision and would make it again.
But wow, is this thing expensive.
Additionally, the warranty period is terrible. It is a wear product; sooner or later, something will be wrong with the controller. But manufacturer SCUF only gives a ridiculous 180 days warranty on the Reflex series.
Another clear counterargument.
Moreover, the controller is not suitable for every game. Due to the instant triggers L2/R2, for example, games with simulated gas pedals are not playable – you always give full throttle. For GTA Online or even Rocket League, I have to switch.
The conditions of the SCUF Reflex FPS actually clearly speak against a purchase. The price is way too high, the warranty is way too short.
I would not seriously recommend anyone to buy such a controller.
But, phew, as soon as I hold the controller in my hands, all of that is forgotten. The Reflex FPS plays excellently, offers small advantages, is super light, and without the motors, the battery lasts longer than with the DualSense.
If the almost 300,- Euro don’t hurt you and you have been eyeing the Reflex series for a while, then go for it. You probably won’t regret it. But make sure to check out the brand “Aim Controllers” as well. Here you can customize a similar product, but with a lifetime warranty.
Would I make the same decision again? Absolutely! Would I buy the controller again if something breaks? No, then I have learned my lesson.

What changed in the West? In the West, this streak of new MMORPGs broke off in 2014:
The Elder Scrolls Online was released, an MMORPG based on one of the biggest brands in gaming.
The essential point was: None of these games was WoW. None was as polished, as stable, or had as much content to offer. That was the same problem that all other MMORPGs before them suffered from: Many came for a short vacation in the new world but did not stay, instead returning to WoW when a new update or expansion lured them back.
ESO later managed to recover from its terrible launch; WildStar did not.
Just like ESO and WildStar, many games had suffered before, but this time it was different: Because the failure of ESO and WildStar – alongside the success of Destiny and GTA Online – triggered a reevaluation in the industry: MMORPGs were out and suddenly considered money pits. And in rapid succession, the hopeful titles we were supposed to play after 2016, such as Titan and Everquest Next, were killed off.
Gaming studios in the West have not touched the topic of “AAA MMORPG” since 2014, except for Amazon with New World, which took a strong turn towards survival:

What has happened in Asia? In China and South Korea, parallel to our MMORPG crisis, there was another development: In both countries, the smartphone replaced the PC as the dominant gaming platform:
In China, the game “Honor of Kings” was released in 2015, a sort of mobile variant of LoL that was closely linked to the dominant social networks there.
Because Riot Games refused to implement their hugely successful League of Legends in China for mobile, Tencent simply did it themselves and landed a huge hit in China.
The advantage: While LoL basically only appealed to young men who met in PC cafés to play, Honor of Kings became a game for everyone via social media. The female share is said to be huge.
Honor of Kings is almost unknown in the West – in China it is huge.
Meanwhile, in South Korea, the venerable company NCSoft faced the threat of being replaced by the young company Netmarble, which was fully focused on mobile, reinterpreting the big brand “Lineage” as a mobile game: they called it Lineage Revolution.
That was in 2016; the year marked a turning point in South Korea:
