In Destiny 2, the Tuesday reset always signals the start of a new week. This week, the latest story highlight featuring Crow and Amanda Holliday will not be available to the Guardians until 7:00 PM. MeinMMO provides you with the weekly overview of everything you can accomplish in the game this week.
This week: This week Destiny 2 heads into the final part of the seasonal story, including the Legendary mode of the Resistance Battlegrounds. But Guardians in Destiny 2 also have a lot of hard content to master beyond that.
- The Vanguard has lost another NPC, who was determined to rescue civilians from the clutches of the Witness. The Guardians must therefore organize a funeral and keep a watchful and concerned eye on Crow.
- The raid “Root of Nightmares” is stepping up, as it goes grandmaster style.
In addition to the story, especially in the raid, the weekly challenges will now add an optional hidden objective to an encounter each week that, when completed, grants additional loot. At the normal difficulty level, they drop double rewards. However, if you complete the Grandmaster difficulty, you receive a Master raid weapon as a reward.
Don’t forget to look for the new story part in “Vexcalibur”, where you explore the secret paths in the exotic mission using the Asher Mir spear and its shield.
New reset time effective immediately: Those who log in as usual at 6:00 PM should know that the reset times for Destiny 2 have also changed due to the time change in Germany. The weekly reset will now take place one hour later, at 7:00 PM.
The most important info on activities from 28.03. to 04.04.
Vanguard: Nightfall – The Trial by Fire
- The Mirror Corridor, on Jupiter’s moon Europa
- Elsie Bray requests the assistance of the Guardians to stop the Vex from advancing on Europa. Get ready to defeat the transcendent spirit “Belmon” again in the Nightfall.
Changes in Lightfall regarding Nightfalls: The challenges of the Vanguard will be adjusted to account for these changes in Lightfall. Additionally, Bungie will integrate a scoring system into the Vanguard Ops playlist. The higher your score, the larger the multiplier for your Vanguard rank.
- Complete Vanguard activities with the wave focus.
- These can be either the seasonal waves for Nightfalls or the weekly waves for Vanguard Ops.
- Complete Nightfall activities.
- At higher difficulty levels, there’s correspondingly more progress.
- A single Grandmaster Nightfall also completes this challenge. However, it will not be available in the game again until April 11, 2023.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
- The weekly legacy raid is the “Oath of the Pupil” in the Throne World of Savathûn.
- In addition, the dungeon “Pit of Heresy” also offers extra top loot.
Bungie will further expand these activity rotations of content starting with Season 22. Then players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “legacy,” but also old exotic missions.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
- Lord Shaxx invites you to Rift. So grab the spark and slam it into your opponents’ Rift to win and complete your challenge.
Where will there be a bonus this week?
In week 5, Destiny 2 grants you a bonus on the ranks in Trials. This means you will also progress faster to the currently highly sought-after submachine gun “The Immortal” this weekend.
Weekly Activities
Here are the most important activities of this week. Guardians will no longer fight against Savathûn but against the Witness as the main antagonist in Destiny 2 in Year 6. Many questions are currently on the table, especially regarding the ominous veil.
