In Destiny 2 you currently have the chance to get a special emblem in the “Among Us” design. This emblem for the pandemic’s Steam hit also contains a small Easter egg. Have you discovered it yet?
What kind of emblem is this? Destiny 2 has entered into a collaboration with the Steam hit Among Us. Accordingly, there are various in-game contents that you can use in both games.
While Among Us received a number of skins designed after iconic Destiny characters like Shaxx, Savathûn, and Eris Morn, players of the loot shooter can obtain a blue-red emblem titled “Airlock Invitation” (German: Luftschleusen Einladung) that comes in a design inspired by Among Us.
“Among Us” emblem in Destiny Airlock Invitation
How do you get the emblem? To receive the “Among Us” emblem, you need to log in on the Bungie website and enter a promo code.
If you entered the code successfully, you should see a confirmation message and then be able to equip the emblem in Destiny 2 when you start the game next time.
What is this Easter egg? When you are in the character screen of Destiny 2, you see a larger version of the “Airlock Invitation” emblem.
On the red area of the emblem, there are now some white lines that are either short or long. Additionally, these lines are divided into groups – one group consists, for example, of two long and one short line.
These lines represent a Morse code that, when translated into Latin letters, spells out “Among Us”.
In Diablo 4 the Limited Collector’s Box should actually still be a secret at the moment. It was expected that the boxes would be released to the public only from June 1, 2023. But a month earlier than expected, the box can already be seen in an unboxing video. The YouTuber Wudijo unpacked the German version of the Collector’s Edition of Diablo 4 a month before the scheduled time.
Actually, the Collector’s Box was supposed to be shipped starting June 1, 2023. This is indicated by a sticker from the box.
But the YouTuber Wudijo already uploaded a 7-minute video on April 29, where he unboxes the Collector’s Edition. He is apparently the first to show this unboxing video. We embed the video here on MeinMMO.

What can be seen in the video? The YouTuber apparently got the German version of the Collector’s Edition, on the “Art Book” it says the word “Art Book”.
In the video, the YouTuber goes through the contents of the box together with his nephew. Among other things, there is a candle and a cloth map.
The box was apparently supposed to be shipped only in a month.
This is what’s included in the edition: Since December 2022, it has been known in detail what is included in the box:
Candle of Creation
Cloth map of Sanctuary
Art Book: Diablo IV – Collector’s Edition
Occult Mouse Pad
Collector’s Pin of the Horadrim
2 matte art prints (47 cm x 27 cm)
This is a special feature: The Collector’s Edition does not include a game. This is a modern invention. The idea is: The Collector’s Edition should be attractive to all players, regardless of whether they play on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. Therefore, the box costs “only” €110, with a game it would likely cost over €150.
The fiscal year 2022 is over for Sony, and now the company has shared its recent financial reports with the world. Experts note that Sony sold fewer games for PS4 and PS5 than in fiscal year 2021.
What does Sony’s financial report say? Economic expert Derek Strickland took a deeper look into Sony’s financial report and analyzed the findings of the 37-page document.
According to Strickland, Sony sold more PlayStation consoles in fiscal year 2022 than in previous years. In fiscal year 2021, Sony recorded $5.252 billion in revenue from hardware sales, while in fiscal year 2022 it was $8.297 billion (via TweakTown.com).
However, sales figures for games sold through the PlayStation Store have decreased by nearly 13% – from 303.2 million units sold to 264.2. Nevertheless, Sony was able to increase revenue from game sales from $6.211 billion to $6.367 billion.
Start video
DualSense Edge – Trailer of the Pro Controller for PS5
Are the high prices to blame? Strickland concluded that Sony’s changed pricing policy might be responsible for the decline in game sales – Sony has raised the price of PS-exclusives from €69.99 to €79.99, causing other games like CoD MW2 to follow suit.
The availability of PS5 consoles should not have affected the declining game sales, as more consoles were sold.
Strickland believes that the change in the PS Plus system probably also had no impact on players’ buying behavior, as the annual revenue from network services like PS Plus has also declined.
Players buy fewer games for PS4 and PS5, but for higher prices
Strickland’s conclusion is that players are buying fewer games for more money and the data indicates that the increased purchase price is negatively impacting sales figures, while revenues remain high.
If you have a PlayStation Plus subscription and can forgo purchasing a game, you have the opportunity to grab three games for PS4 and PS5 starting from May 02.
2017 brought Fortnite the streaming platform Twitch into the mainstream and let careers grow from scratch. A group of streamers around Tyler “Ninja” Blevins rose particularly rapidly in the favor of viewers back then. Now Ninja, TimTheTatman, Nickmercs, CourageJD, and SypherPK are teaming up to create the next big battle royale in Fortnite. The release date for “Project V” is set for the second quarter of 2024.
This is the story behind it: Streamers played Fortnite from 2017 alone, in pairs, or in groups of four. When several streamers played together, they could talk to each other, poke fun at each other and reach each other’s viewers.
This acted like an “accelerator” for the careers of the then relatively small streamers, who managed to catch up with established names like DrDisrespect, Summit1g, or Lirik through this method or even surpass them.
At the core of the largest group was the streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.

In Ninja’s orbit, streamers like:
Tim TheTatman – he was a bit slower and was often the “punching bag” of the group – Now he is extremely successful on YouTube
Nickmercs, a rough guy who later excelled in Apex Legends and Call of Duty
SypherPK – he remained devoted to Fortnite
CourageJD – was the funny guy, more a caster than a player. He switched early to YouTube and to 100 Thieves
TimTheTatmanNickmercs
All 5 have had more or less successful careers since Fortnite time in 2017, Nickmercs and TimTheTatman are among the biggest current stars of the shooter world. Ninja’s star has somewhat faded, still, he has the largest Twitch channel in the world by followers.
According to their own statements, the 5 reach about 140 million followers together.
5 Streamers say: They know what makes Battle Royale great
This is the plan: The players say.
“We are a group of friends, gamers, and content creators who feel a passion for battle royale. Since 2016, we have played every BR on the market, competed at the highest level, and built an audience of 140 million players together. We know what makes battle royale great.”
The streamers say that since the “Unreal Editor” was released for Fortnite in March 2023, they wanted to do something together and create their own battle royale.

The game should mainly be based on player feedback. The game will be called “Project V”, with a launch planned for the second quarter of 2024. Project V should also be continuously supplied with content after the launch.
Perhaps Project V can bring some movement back into the matter:
A week ago, Epic Games banned the largest Twitch streamer for Fortnite, Cody “Clix” Conrod, from the online shooter. The 18-year-old says he simply can’t cope. After trying to activate his Twitter followers to pressure for his release, he is now suffering from withdrawal symptoms.
Trigger warning: Clix is an 18-year-old who knows little restraint and is not exactly known for his tasteful appearance. In the article, we discuss a clip in which he suggests methods of suicide. He apparently finds the 15-second video funny. We do not embed the video but link to it. The video could be disturbing.
Important note:If you are troubled by dark thoughts due to the current situation: You are not alone. Please seek help. For example, from the telephone counseling service at 0800/111 0 111 or the online counseling, where you can also use a chat. It is free and available nationwide.
Fortnite bans Clix for 2 weeks for “teaming”
Why was Clix banned?
Clix picked up a powerful item in an online e-sport tournament for money that an opponent dropped for him. With the item, he was able to win the tournament. This is “teaming” – an “illegal advantage taking” in the “everyone against everyone” format. Epic then banned him from Fortnite for 2 weeks.
For Clix, this is a blow; he misses important tournaments as a result. He insists that the ban is not solely his fault. The opponent who gave him the item hates him, ambushed him, provoked him, and lured him into this ban. Clix considers the 2-week suspension to be excessive.
Clix attempted to motivate his considerable community via Twitter (2.1 million followers) to persuade Epic Games to lift the ban in Fortnite. But Epic Games remained firm, and even after a call, Clix could not achieve anything.
Ninja was one of Clix’s predecessors as a top streamer for Fortnite:

There is a 15-second video in which he suggests committing suicide by jumping off a balcony, smilingly indicating swallowing laundry tablets or throwing a toaster into the tub (via twitter)
However, he also tried to be nice, thanking his community. He explained that “the last days have greatly affected his mental health.” Clix said he was not sure how things would proceed. He just wants to compete in e-sports. The 18-year-old thanks his community and asks them to continue supporting him:
I pray that Epic does what is right and allows me to participate in the FNCS. Please keep going.
This is the latest: After joking about suicide, Clix wrote another tweet on April 30 (via twitter):
I have been a week without Fortnite. I can’t walk without trembling. I feel like I am undergoing withdrawal. I can’t be without Fortnite any longer. I can hardly breathe. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out without Fortnite.
He will probably have to endure another week until the ban expires. Hopefully, he survives the cold withdrawal.
A similar drama surrounding his ban from Fortnite was staged a few years ago by the YouTuber FaZe Jarvis:
No one earns as much money on Twitch consistently as 27-year-old Félix “xQc” Lengyel. With currently 71,294 subscribers, he earns around €250,000 a month just from subscriptions on Twitch. However, he looks extremely unhappy in a clip when he sees what his colleague shroud has that he lacks.
How rich is xQc?
The Canadian xQc was a professional in Overwatch in 2018, then transitioned to being a full-time streamer on Twitch and was able to fill a gap in December 2019 that emerged at the top of Twitch when the two stars of Twitch, Ninja and shroud, moved to the platform Mixer.
Since around 2020, the 27-year-old has been consistently one of the most successful or the most successful streamer on Twitch: It is estimated that he receives significant income from advertisements, sponsorship deals, and subscriptions. Additionally, he operates YouTube channels and generates revenue there as well.
The 5 biggest Twitch bans that caused a lot of commotion
What is he missing? Anyone thinking that xQc is incredibly happy with his life is mistaken. You can see that in a clip.
After a long day of work on Twitch, xQc browses the channels and stops at the streamers Sodapoppin and shroud. While watching shroud’s gameplay, he says:
He is living his life. He lives with his girlfriend in a nice house. I mean, look at that. I can’t sleep at night, I eat McDonald’s – with every meal. I’m alone in this stupid house that I hate. I know I could change it, I know. But still.
It is not entirely clear who he is referring to. It could apply to both Sodapoppin, whom he was looking at earlier, and shroud, whom he sees while he speaks.

xQc streams 8.5 hours a day without a break – Can never switch off
Why doesn’t he have all that? xQc has a terrible work-life balance:
xQc streams 3,131 hours a year
Sodapoppin is on air for only 1,546 hours a year – He moved out of his streamer house in March 2023 and now lives with his girlfriend (via sportskeeda)
The shooter legend shroud clocks in at 2,133 hours – He has long lived a rather quiet life together with a girlfriend and celebrated that in an advertisement
xQc, on the other hand, apparently has a hard time in his personal life, he was reportedly briefly married to his long-time girlfriend Adept, divorced again, had to move frequently due to stalkers. From the outside, it seems that he simply hasn’t been able to find peace for years and can never switch off.
Reddit does not understand why a multimillionaire eats fast food
How is it being discussed? On Reddit, they are not discussing the fine causes that the problem might have, but the practical aspects: Why on earth does xQc, with all the money he has, only eat McDonald’s? It can’t be that hard to find a decent cook or restaurants. Even “UberEats” would be an upgrade:
“He could have a private chef every day preparing him healthy 5-star dishes three times a day for the rest of his life, but instead, he continues to order from McDonald’s and complains about it.”
“If you are suffering from depression, it doesn’t matter what you could do. More often than not, you can’t even manage the simplest things and will remain in your comfort zone, not trying anything new.”
“Sodapoppin has pretty much the same hobbies as xQc. But the difference is that Soda maintains healthy habits, at least in comparison […] the most important thing is that Soda makes an effort to interact with others socially in his hobbies. You can be an isolated gamer and still be social. There are gaming guilds, communities, […], where you can develop relationships and meet friends […]
There are also voices suggesting that the sleep problems could be due to abuse of the drug “Adderall”: This is said to be common in the Overwatch scene from which xQc comes. But that is speculation.
An example of how one can live reasonably well despite major problems and pressures as a top streamer is none other than Tyler1:
Actually, the new movie about Super Mario is supposed to fill the cinemas, but last weekend 9 million people watched the film illegally on Twitter.
What kind of movie is it? The Super Mario Bros. movie is the latest film featuring the famous video game hero Mario. For decades, the plumber with the red cap has been jumping across screens, fighting the evil turtle Bowser, and rescuing Princess Peach. This is also the case in the new adaptation, where Mario is voiced by actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World).

How was the film shown? Some users posted the new “Super Mario Bros.” movie on Twitter in violation of copyright laws.
The users shared the film in two parts with English audio, each lasting a maximum of 60 minutes. The first part of the film was played over 9 million times.
As early as April 29, our colleagues from GamePro reported that an Argentinian TV station showed the film without permission, thus violating copyright (via GamePro).
Thanks to Elon Musk, long videos are now possible on Twitter
How is this possible? In October 2022, the eccentric billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter and brought several changes regarding the length of videos that can be posted on Twitter. This is actually limited to 140 seconds.
However, Musk changed the way verifications (blue checkmarks) work on Twitter, and since then any user can subscribe to “Twitter Blue” for nearly €9.50. The subscription not only brings the blue checkmark but also some additional benefits – including that “Twitter Blue” subscribers can upload videos lasting up to 60 minutes, which can be a maximum of 2 GB in size (via Twitter.com).
The users who shared the film on Twitter were

The next patch of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has been unveiled. We have all the information about patch 10.1: Gluttony of Neltharion.
Blizzard is serious and gives players of World of Warcraft no rest. Although the previous patch has not been live for long, patch 10.1 has already been introduced. This will be titled “Gluttony of Neltharion” and will lead us to a new underground area.
The most important points at a glance:
Patch 10.1 will be released on May 3, 2023.
There will be a new area, the underground Zaralek Cave.
There is a new raid: Aberrus, the Shadow Crucible with a total of 9 bosses.
A new glory faction will be introduced, the Niffen.
Season 2 will start, along with a new selection of “Mythic+” dungeons.
Patch 10.1 Gluttony of Neltharion will be released on May 3, 2023, just about 6 weeks after the launch of patch 10.0.7. Thus, Blizzard is adhering to its schedule ahead of time, as they actually had until the end of June for that.
The Zaralek Cave – Under the Dragon Isles
Most of the action of patch 10.1 takes place in the Zaralek Caves. This is a new underground area that is accessible from several points on the Dragon Isles. Fyrakk, one of the prime incarnations, is trying to gain the assistance of the Djaradin here.
But there is more hidden in the Zaralek Caves. Neltharion had his laboratory here and conducted all sorts of experiments to create new creatures – hence “Aberrus, the Shadow Crucible” can also be found here.
The Shardflame led by Scale Commander Sarkareth is also here and wants to conquer the Shadow Crucible for itself – as they believe that the birthplace of the Dracthyr and thus also the secrets and powers hidden there are their birthright.
In terms of size, the Zaralek Caves are said to be “a bit larger than Zereth Mortis.” Since you can also use dragon riding here and find new glyphs, travel should go quickly.
New Glory Path – The Mole-like Niffen
A new faction can also be found in the Zaralek Cave, namely the Niffen. This is a completely new race that has not been seen in World of Warcraft before. As is proper for “mole-like creatures,” the Niffen are nearly blind, but they possess a keen sense of smell to orient themselves.
New Raid: Aberrus, Crucible of Shadows
The secret laboratory deep in the Zaralek Cave was long the laboratory of Neltharion, who later became Deathwing. Here he not only created the Dracthyr but also many other creatures – sometimes with more and sometimes with less success.
However, it is also the place where Neltharion succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods – which is why we will surely encounter effects of this corruption here.
A total of 9 bosses await in this raid, one more than in the Vault of Incarnations.
The raid will be released, as in season 1, with all three difficulties at the same time – that is, normal, heroic, and mythic. Only the LFR variant will open wing by wing with a slight delay.
With patch 10.1, the second season of Dragonflight also begins. This means, above all, that there is a new rotation for the dungeons. In total, there are again 8 dungeons to choose from, from which you can earn loot and rating.
These are the first 4 pending dungeons of Dragonflight:
Brackenfell Cave
Halls of Infusion
Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr
Neltharus
In addition, there will be four dungeons from previous expansions:
Actually just a small change, but one that should make many happy: With patch 10.1, there are finally cross-faction guilds. This means you can use a guild chat and a guild bank with friends from both factions.
The days of having to create “mirror guilds” in the other faction to unite all characters under one banner are over.
More news about World of Warcraft can be found here:
Apart from these major features, patch 10.1 brings a lot of smaller things. There will be attacks from Fyrakk on the Dragon Isles that work similarly to the current attacks of the Primalists. In addition, the stories of Tyr and the blue dragonflight will be continued, so there are also new story content waiting here.
Further minor changes include:
Changes to the interface and more options in “Edit Mode”
Class balance and adjustments
Heirloom equipment can now be upgraded to level 70

Together with my colleague Benedict Grothaus, I gave up quite a few hours of sunshine to scare the neighborhood in the game as a pale vampire.
The likelihood is high that I will find myself in a similar situation after the DLC’s release, but the game will be much better then. Because as the trailer shows, Frankenstein cyborgs are coming:

V Rising: Gloomrot-DLC – Gameplay Trailer
The DLC especially brings a smile to my face with the new enemy types. A mad scientist creates Frankenstein cyborgs, and in the Gloomrot area, creatures roam that provide material for steampunk nightmares.
My cauldron was steaming.
I would have checked out the DLC anyway, but now I’m really looking forward to it. Even if my colleague Benedict wouldn’t agree: zombies and/or science fiction make everything better. Frankenstein cyborgs are somehow both.
What else does the DLC offer? Over the past months, the developers have released little details and tidbits from time to time. Here is a list of parts of the content and changes we can expect:
At release, V Rising was able to convince for a few gaming sessions, possibly even longer on a PvP server. But there was still much content missing, and overall the Early Access game plans three major updates.
With “Secrets of Gloomrot”, the developers are already providing good reasons to play vampire again in May.
A young streamer currently has one of the fastest-growing channels on German Twitch. Good reason to take a closer look at Snipsska.
What kind of streamer is she? Alena, known as Snisspka, has been active on Twitch since 2021. Her first stream took place on March 20. Back then, she played Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in front of 9 viewers. Since then, the streamer has expanded her offerings.
In addition to party games like Mario Kart, Snipsska currently mainly shows Valorant or chats with her viewers in Just Chatting. Recently, she has also been actively opening boxes in CS:GO – could that be the bad influence of MontanaBlack?

Career and Life of MontanaBlack in 2 Minutes: What Makes Him Unique?
Between Abitur and Twitch
What do we know about Snipsska? The streamer is still in school and is currently in the middle of Abitur stress. Aside from that, Snipsska’s focus is currently on Twitch, so it is quite possible that she will pursue a career as a full-time streamer after her Abitur (via Twitter).
On December 5, Snipsska celebrated her 18th birthday (via Twitter). As a kind of belated birthday gift, she became a Twitch partner just 2 months later (via Twitter).
Little else is known about the streamer’s private life. If you’re thinking: “Isn’t she the sister of Tanzverbot!”, then you’ve probably fallen for a joke by Nicolas Stemmler, the brother of Twitch streamer Trymacs (via TikTok).
However, it is a fact that she is not only a passionate Valorant player but also a big soccer fan and of course a lover of the “Star Wars” franchise.
It Takes Two Confused Streamers
What do the numbers say? Snipsska has been streaming regularly since March 2021, but compared to other streamers, she streams slightly less: she is usually on air for between 65 and 90 hours per month, with outliers in both directions.
She has steadily gained new viewers and followers and has also appeared in other streams from time to time, but overall the growth has been rather slow. Snipsska ended the year 2022 with an average of 148 viewers.
In March 2023, it seems Snipsska has achieved a breakthrough. The rapid growth can be particularly clearly illustrated by the views on her channel:
In March, Snipsska’s views exploded
Where does the success come from? A significant factor in Snipsska’s growth may have been the joint streams with MontanaBlack. They brought the streamer to 14th place among the fastest-growing channels in Germany (via sullygnome).
The game from the developer studio Hazelight is particularly popular among couples for cooperative gaming. So it’s no wonder that the first speculations about a relationship between MontanaBlack and Snipsska are already appearing in the comments.
However, nothing is confirmed, and due to the age difference between them, it is rather unlikely. However, that doesn’t stop the fans from loving the dynamic between the two. The fact that both are a bit confused only adds to the entertainment value for the viewers.

A cornerstone for Snipsska’s success is therefore laid. Whether she will manage to retain viewers remains to be seen. Currently, Snisspka streams to an average of nearly 1,400 viewers, even without MontanaBlack.
If her luck in opening CS:GO boxes can carry over, she is looking at a golden future (via Twitch).
On April 7, Snipsska was announced alongside streamers Merleperle, Mrs. Spark, and Envi as the newest members of the content creator section of Wave Esports (via Twitter).
Wave is also the organization of the now 17-year-old Twitch streamer Fibii. She was ranked 9th among the fastest-growing German-speaking channels in 2022. If Snipsska can follow in her colleague’s footsteps, 2023 could be a big year for the streamer.

Here, 5 people beat up dumb, simple-minded AI bots and feel like absolute pros. This might soon come to an end. By the end of 2023, Riot plans to introduce “better bots” to the test servers.
What kind of mode is that?
In the “Co-op vs. AI” mode, human players play against dumb bots that play nicely and are actually led to the slaughter like lambs.
Good players gank and harass the poor bots from level 1, as the AI guys and gals always make the same mistakes, can be easily outsmarted and farmed. The bots play without a jungler and with 2 top laners, which is not how you actually play LoL.
The co-op mode allows human players to try out new characters without the pressure of completing missions or just playing casually. “Ambitious” players, who only know ranked, often look down on players of the co-op mode.
At this point, I would like to make a confession. I am biased on the topic, I play LoL exclusively in co-op mode and have had to endure a lot from so-called “pros” throughout my life about how much I love the “lucky bear” mode.

7 Facts about LoL that only true veterans know
Co-op mode should be like a proper LoL match
This is supposed to change: On April 28, the developers of LoL announced in a video message far-reaching changes for the mode. The mode is to become much more similar to a “normal LoL game”. The goal is:
Bots should do things like jungling, ganking, and fighting dragons – they should behave like real players.
The AI should then play as a team, not like 5 individual players – this sounds like “fantasy LoL”, not even real players act as a team together.
The bots should even respond to changes in the meta.
Additionally, they want to expand the champion pool of the bots.

Why is this being done? The mode should serve as a way to become “good” at LoL without being constantly yelled at by other players (via lol/blog).
When is this supposed to happen? In the second half of 2023, “beta bots” are supposed to hit the test servers, then feedback will be collected via Reddit. It will still take a while until the bots are really in the game.
For a long time, Sony kept certain titles from its “First Party” studios for itself and its PS4 and PS5. These were precisely the “exclusive” titles that PC gamers could only admire from afar. That has changed and will change even more in the future. Because the sales of their actual exclusive titles like Spiderman Remastered, God of War, or The Last of Us Part 1, which were brought to Steam in 2022, look great in the business figures.
What kind of trend is this? Sony increasingly pursued a new strategy in 2022 to bring its “First Party Games” to PC via Steam. These are the games that were originally created exclusively for their PS4 and PS5 consoles, which were considered “system sellers.”
However, as PCGamer writes, this “exclusivity policy” has loosened in recent years, and it has had significant impacts on the business figures of the last year.
In plain language: Sony suddenly made a ton of money with its “actually exclusive” games when they sold them on Steam.

Sony significantly increases revenue in PC category “Others” in 2022
How successful is Sony with this? The sales of “first-party” titles on platforms other than PS4 and PS5 apparently exploded in Q3 and Q4 of the fiscal year 2022.
The sales are listed in the “Others” category, along with sales of peripheral devices, including PlayStation VR:
In the “Others” category, you can see that revenue almost doubled in comparison from 2022 to 2021. They jumped from 187 million yen to 339 million yen.
In Q4 alone, revenues rose from about $380 million to over $1 billion.
These are not just “PS5 games that came to PC” but certainly a substantial portion of it.
The important column is “Others”; this is where the sales of Sony’s first-party titles on PC flow in.
Which games is this related to? As PC Gamer points out, Sony released these games for Steam in 2022, among others:
(God of War was released in January 2022 but counts for Sony in fiscal year 2021)
These are already some strong releases on Steam.
Sony wants to bring more of its “catalog” games to PC
What’s next? Sony states that the goal is to
continue developing new brands
bring existing games to PC
and further develop live service games.
For us at MeinMMO, Sony’s “live service” games are particularly interesting. Here we already have a rough overview of what will be coming our way in the next few years:
On April 12, 2023, Call of Duty received a huge update with the launch of Season 3, the largest since the release of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. However, those with a graphics card featuring the ‘AMD Vega GP’ can no longer enjoy Call of Duty. Affected players feel powerless but want to make their voices heard.
What is the problem? On April 12, a major patch for Season 3 was released. However, players with an ‘AMD VEGA GPU’ have been experiencing crashes when starting Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, with the message: DirectX X has encountered an error.
As PC Gamer reports, this serious issue affects hardware such as the Radeon VII and nearly all Ryzen processors with an integrated GPU: This likely affects thousands of PC gamers worldwide.

Developers Acknowledge Problems – But They Persist
Are the developers aware of this? Yes, after 1,000 complaints (via steam), Beenox, the Canadian studio behind the PC version, admitted on Twitter on April 17: They are looking into the problem affecting AMD Vega users in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

What are players doing out of anger? Two weeks have passed since the Twitter post, but the players’ situation has not improved.
272 signatures have now been collected on a petition at ‘change.org‘ – players are angry because they do not understand how a game that worked perfectly before Season 3 is now not functioning and is also being ignored by Activision. Activision must “urgently” solve the problem.
Another player sent a pizza to the developers in Quebec with the message ‘Help Vega Please’.
However, on reddit, people agree: The pizza probably never reached the developers. It was likely disposed of in the lobby for safety reasons.
For the players, it seems the only option is to wait until the problem is resolved.
The idea of sending a pizza to the developers of the favorite game to motivate them has been suggested by players before. Whether looking at a cold pizza in the workplace truly alleviates frustration is another question:
The developer of Destiny 2, Bungie, received 12 million USD in a court ruling against a Romanian cheat manufacturer. The money would be enough to buy the Lightfall expansion on Steam 240,000 times. The court would have awarded Bungie even more money, but they only wanted $2,000 per violation.
What kind of process is this?
The process started in 2021 and targeted a Romanian cheat provider under the name “VeteranCheats”.
With the cheats, players could improve their aiming or see through walls. According to Bungie, the site allegedly sold cheats like “Razor”, “HLBOT”, and “Render”.
After the site operator did not respond to Bungie’s initial complaint in 2021, Bungie pushed for a default judgment in 2023 due to copyright violations and the circumvention of their security measures.
A US court has now ruled in favor of Bungie and deemed the claims for damages justified.

Bungie wanted $2,000 per violation – the court would have even paid $2,500
What did Bungie want? Bungie obtained insights into the data through a preliminary injunction and found that the software had been sold about 5,848 times between November 2020 and July 2022.
Bungie subsequently demanded a high amount in damages: $2,000 per violation – thus over 11.6 million USD, plus further penalties and the assumption of court costs.
This is what they have received now: As the US site Kotaku writes, Bungie was indeed awarded $12 million. The court found that each of these 5,484 violations was even worth $2,500, but since Bungie only demanded $2,000 per violation, they were awarded this amount.
In addition, there were further penalties, so the total bill for the Romanian side ultimately amounted to $12,059,912.98.
The satirist Jan Böhmermann had previously expressed negative opinions about the Twitch streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris in 2020. Since the summer of 2022, however, he has been notably frequently engaging with the streamer and taking on his role.
“There are YouTubers, Let’s Players, fans of MontanaBlack, and hardcore neo-Nazis further to the right, who are trying to pick up the MontanaBlack community that has developed a taste for it.”
His partner Olli Schulz also joined in on the criticism:
Nowadays, you create an internet channel, tattoo your face, claim you have a foreskin constriction, and all sorts of things, and people love you for it and say: “Hey, that’s someone like me, he’s just as messed up” and then you even write a book about it: “My Hard Path of Suffering,” and then they all buy it […] And I have to say: What a stupid idiot I am for having taken such a dumb path?
MontanaBlack lashes out at Böhmermann: failed career
What happened next? MontanaBlack was outraged in May 2020 about being pushed into a right-wing corner. He was especially annoyed that Böhmermann had “defamed” his entire community.
MontanaBlack accused Böhmermann of being envious because his career had failed.

Böhmermann then clarified his criticism, stating that he did not think MontanaBlack was right-wing but that he had a great responsibility and needed to become aware of it. Precisely because Twitch is so unregulated, the “stars” of the platform must clearly position themselves and take responsibility.
Some are aware of their role, but others couldn’t care less about this responsibility. That is a fundamental problem.

Career and Life of MontanaBlack in 2 Minutes: What Makes Him Unique?
Since summer 2022, MontanaBlack has been the target of parodies
What is the situation now? Böhmermann rediscovered MontanaBlack in the summer of 2022 and developed a parody of him, which he has already embodied several times.
After an episode of “ZDF Magazin Royale,” in which he reacted live as a MontanaBlack lookalike, four more “reaction streams” from Böhmermann in the role of a Twitch streamer, who is strongly modeled after MontanaBlack, have now appeared in the ZDF Mediathek and on YouTube: He rambles on, is unprepared, snacks on chips, burps, and comments on whatever comes to mind.
What’s up with the mega show? In the show “ZDF Magazin Royale” from Friday, Böhmermann attempted a new format, broadcasting live, taking viewer calls, and reacting to the opinions of callers. He apparently oriented himself on radio formats with viewer calls that he had done before – but publicly presented it in a way that suggested he had staged the show in homage to Twitch and MontanaBlack.
At the end of the show, he seemingly disappointed said:
It is 11:31 PM, unfortunately the show is over much faster than feared. I thought we would do the MontanaBlack mega stream tonight, I specifically tanked Alge-Alge-Alge like Knossi, I am really psyched up and pumped because I thought you, ladies and gentlemen, could get our show back on the right track. You could push us back onto the rails. You could provide us with facts and topics. Clearly, that has not succeeded.
Böhmermann gets a taste for reacting and improvising
What’s behind this: You can see how the relationship between Böhmermann and Twitch and MontanaBlack has changed over 3 years:
In 2020, it was a critical outside perspective – Böhmermann mainly aimed to say that some people there, especially MontanaBlack, needed to take more responsibility
From 2022 on, it becomes clear that Böhmermann has intensified his engagement with the Twitch scene and its peculiarities. Even though he mocks it, he apparently realizes how successful such a “just sit down and talk” approach is
This fundamental principle was already discovered many years ago by former gaming journalist and later influencer Fabian Siegismund. Siegismund had created elaborate tutorial videos for Battlefield for years for GameStar but eventually started uploading unedited gameplay that he had to record for the tutorials anyway.
Ultimately, he realized: Livestreaming is much less effort, you finish early and get almost as much out of it as with the elaborate tutorial videos.
Thus, the large, journalistic 30-minute shows are clearly more successful for Böhmermann, but the 9-minute reaction streams, into which clearly much less work flows, also bring relevance and viewers.
With his criticism that MontanaBlack is not doing justice to his responsibility, not even when it comes to “loot boxes” in FIFA, Böhmermann does not seem to be reaching the streamer:
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, the highly anticipated sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, has just had a disastrous launch on Steam. Players and experts are complaining about performance issues. And then there’s the exiled YouTuber Herschel “DrDisrespect” Beahm, who thinks everything is great.
But one person lacks understanding for the complaints: former Twitch streamer DrDisrespect, who has been causing a stir on YouTube since his permanent ban, had no issues with the game’s performance and offers wise words to the critics.

DrDisrespect was a celebrity on Twitch – His ban remains a big mystery to this day
DrDisrespect says: Get a life
What does the Doc have to say? In a tweet from April 30, DrDisrespect reported that he had been playing Jedi Survivor all day on the highest settings. While the framerate dipped slightly during some cutscenes, overall the performance and experience were “top-notch”.
He also had some wise words for the critics: “People complaining about video games – GET A LIFE.”

What are the reactions like? Quite mixed. The tweet has already received over 1.5 million views and numerous comments. Some Twitter users agree with the Doc and say they can play without issues, although they are mostly console players.
Others, like Twitch streamer Lirik, who shared a clip of his buggy gameplay, seem to hold a different opinion.
Particularly observant users might notice that DrDisrespect primarily complains about video games: whether it’s the sound effects in Apex Legends or the whole of Warzone 2, the Doc always has something to grumble about. That’s practically part of his brand identity.
So it’s somewhat surprising that he has such praise for the new AAA disaster. If DrDisrespect hasn’t lost any ability for self-reflection, the tweet must have been at least a bit ironic.
Releasing unfinished games and then patching them with a day-one update has become increasingly common in recent years. The reverse case, where a patch breaks everything, is currently an issue with Call of Duty:
The indie gem Don’t Starve Together is currently available on Steam at its lowest price, resulting in record numbers. 7 years After release, “Don’t Starve Together” has higher player numbers on Steam than ever before.
What kind of game is it? Don’t Starve (2013) and its co-op version Don’t Starve Together (2016) are games from the Canadian developer studio Klei Entertainment. Despite the cute visuals, the games are not to be underestimated and can even put experienced survival players to the test.
How many people are currently playing? According to SteamDB, Don’t Starve Together reached a new peak of 96,046 concurrent players on April 29 at 3 PM our time. This ranks it 9th among the most played games in the last 24 hours – ahead of Lost Ark and Call of Duty (via SteamDB).
This is particularly impressive considering that Don’t Starve Together was completely free for a weekend in 2019. Back then, it only reached a peak of 68,000 concurrent players.
Is it worth it for me? Don’t Starve Together (Release: 2016) stands on Steam with 96% positive ratings at “overwhelmingly positive”, which speaks volumes. Survival fans wanting to engage in a long and hard adventure in a dark atmosphere and who have no problem with comic graphics can’t go wrong at this price.
In Don’t Starve Together, you can not only die of hunger, but pretty much everything wants to get you. While this makes it a favorite among many survival fans, not everyone wants to discover all 15 ways to die in the game during a cozy co-op evening on the couch.
In our list of the 25 best co-op games, there is something for every taste:
