Combat
Made it more obvious if you’re low on health at the start of your turn in combat.
Fixed not being able to attack stalactites with ranged spells.
Tweaked the Reactions UI.
Added surface information to the cursor on controller, rearranged some of the cursor target details, added a new overlay for surfaces when D-pad is pressed down, and added the Actions prompt
in combat.
Improved readability in the Combat Log by reducing empty space and tightening up the list.
Made reactions that are turned off still readable and gave them a greyed out icon.
Tooltips
Adjusted some margins and sizes in tooltips to avoid issues like damage text getting cut off.
Improved the tooltips: added new icons; tidied them up with new font sizes and placement; fixed the Inspect prompt; added the right colour and icon for the Equipped line; and added a new
frame, footer, and header style.

You can now rotate and zoom in and out on your character in Character Creation when you’re choosing a name.

Fixed characters in Character Creation sometimes getting obscured by tooltips on controller.
Added a grid icon and button prompt on Character Creation options that open up a grid for selection (like when choosing colours) on controller.

During the preparation phase of the survival show 7 vs. Wild, there was an incident between two participants. The 63-year-old Andreas Kieling was thrown out before the start of the show. However, it is precisely the victim who has received angry comments on social media.
What kind of incident is it? The participants of the 3rd season of the survival show 7 vs. Wild reported back from the Canadian wilderness on the weekend of August 26 and 27, 2023. Which pairs survived the full 2 weeks remains a closely guarded secret.
As the show’s organizing team announced on Instagram, one participant will not be seen during the broadcast: The documentary filmmaker Andreas Kieling was excluded due to an “incident” with another candidate during the preparation phase.
What exactly happened between the 63-year-old and the 40 years younger Ann-Kathrin Bendixen alias “Affe auf Bike” is not known. The official post only mentions a “crossing of boundaries”.
The news caused an uproar on social media. However, it was precisely the victim in this situation who drew the anger of some users. On social media, users speculated, without knowing the details of the incident, that the woman must have overreacted and presumed that the man was surely innocent.

The “Naturensöhne” Andreas Schulze and Gerrit Rösel expressed their “dismay” over the comments and asked: “How can people be so ignorant and disgusting?” They had witnessed the behavior of the documentary filmmaker themselves and found it “absolutely disgusting” (via Reddit).
Affe auf Bike herself commented in her own story on Instagram. The incident was very uncomfortable for her. Kieling, however, later apologized to her, and she considered the whole matter closed.

What happened? Twitch streamer Sirenkahls dives into the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 by taking on the role of a druid. However, with her own unique approach, she surprised her viewers when she unintentionally led her beloved companion Kratzer to his death. It quickly became clear that her approach as a druid was anything but ordinary.
Unexpectedly, Sirenkahls found herself in combat with the dog Kratzer. She failed the check and didn’t want to retreat, so Kratzer attacked her. Determined to disable the dog without lethal force, she planned an attack that was supposed to put Kratzer into a deep sleep. However, she overlooked that such “non-lethal attacks were effective only in melee.” Instead, she drew an arrow from her weapon and shot the dog… with fatal consequences.

What happened next? The arrow hit Kratzer, and the loyal companion fell motionless to the ground. A shocking moment for the viewers, but also for Sirenkahls herself, who started screaming as she realized that Kratzer was truly dead. For players who do not intend to kill Kratzer: The dog is not only a loyal companion but also useful in combat.
The fateful action revealed that she apparently was not following the typical paths of a druid and perhaps even a dark power was growing within her. In her TikTok video, she refers to herself as “the worst druid ever.”
