Additionally, the developers gave us some comparisons to describe Den of Wolves, saying it’s a mix of Payday and Black Mirror, but also a baby of Heat, Inception, and Blade Runner.
Live service with Early Access on Steam
What do we know about the release? Den of Wolves is set to be released in Early Access on Steam, but the developers have not yet provided a release window.
A console release is also planned, but the PC release takes priority.
Furthermore, Den of Wolves is expected to be a live service game and will receive DLCs over time that will expand the shooter’s game world.
Every heist tells its own storyline
What distinguishes the gameplay of the game? Den of Wolves is played in 4-player co-op. The difficulty is said to be somewhere between GTFO (hardcore) and Payday (arcade). Even though Den of Wolves is supposed to be easier than GTFO, it still builds on a similar concept: players should lose control of a situation and then reclaim it.
Additionally, there is something like a backstory that explains how the city became what it is in 2097. There is no coherent campaign. Instead, there are various storylines that tell their own stories.
A storyline consists of various missions. For instance, we might receive the mission to break into the office of a particular company, steal data, and bring it to a competing corporation.
This break-in, however, is not the first mission of the storyline. Previously, you might have to break into another building to obtain a building plan or something similar. The storyline concludes with the actual break-in and consists of various missions that serve to execute the actual break-in, which is also part of the storyline.
Fortnite is launching a new mode today to keep its players entertained in Chapter 5. This time it’s Rocket Racing. What you should know about the release of the racing mode can be found in our overview with trailer.
When can I play Rocket Racing? Officially, Epic Games has scheduled the start of Fortnite Rocket Racing for December 8, 2023. Additionally, there is a hint confirming the release timeframe, and it can be found in the Discovery tab of the modes in Fortnite itself. There, you can access all modes created by Epic Games or content creators.
Two official and especially new modes from Epic Games are still listed as “Coming Soon”. For Rocket Racing, it says “In 1 Day” since the release of the LEGO mode, so it is safe to say that Rocket Racing is coming out today.
We cannot provide anything specific about the time, but we assume that the mode will start at the same time as the LEGO mode. That would be around 1 PM to 2 PM. We will keep you updated if the mode is postponed.

What is Rocket Racing? The upcoming mode “Rocket Racing” mixes Rocket League with Fortnite and throws you with your customizable vehicle onto a random racetrack, where you can compete against other players.
The motto is “drift, fly, and boost with your friends on an ever-growing selection of tracks”. Moreover, future updates are expected to bring more customization options for your race car, which can even be earned in the new Battle Pass of Chapter 5 Season 1.
There should be a free skin: If you would like to unlock skins for your collection for free, you may have the chance with Rocket Racing.
With the launch of the new mode, you might be able to unlock the skin “Jacky” according to leaks (via twitter.com), but only after you reach the Gold rank. Whether this is true has not been confirmed, but with LEGO Fortnite, the developers already included a free skin pack in the shop for all players.
It is quite possible that the developers are generous to the community again and grant you a skin, provided you are a good racer.
