Even in the Iron Banner week, Xur is present in Destiny 2. MeinMMO tells you what his offer looks like, where to find him, and whether it is worth it.
What happened this week in Destiny? Amid the turmoil at Bungie, where concerns over a takeover and internal tensions are brewing, Destiny 2 is additionally grappling with the plague of cheaters in PvP.
For the Guardians, this week also raised the question of what a full takeover by Sony would mean for the loot shooter? Salvation or exodus? Here are 3 possible scenarios that might occur.
However, those who do not want to think about or speculate on this fateful change might be looking forward to the Dawning event next week or found comfort in the good old hunt for cute star kitties: Destiny 2: How to discover all 14 star kitty locations in Season 23
Have you already been to the new dungeon? If not, take a first look here:

In addition to the regular offer, Xur sells unique rolls for exotics from no longer available exotic missions from past DLCs. However, you can only purchase these weapons from Xur if you also own the relevant expansion.
Currently, he has one weapon on offer:
- The exotic hand cannon “Fatebringer” (Beyond Light DLC) with a fixed draw.
Lord Saladin is offering Iron Banner Control again
Tribute was not well received: The latest Iron Banner mode “Tribute” lasted only 2 days. Bungie actually wanted to excite the guardians with a mix of the modes “Relic” and “Fortress” for a new kind of Iron Banner. But that backfired.
For most guardians, Tribute in the Iron Banner was just Gambit in new packaging. They wanted to play Control as it has always been.
Bungie recognized this and replaced the mode after the first feedback from players. However, it has not been completely abandoned as they will consider how to make the experience entertaining again.
- You have the opportunity in Season 23 to earn the trendy Strand Auto Rifle “Deadly Abundance” with penetrating casing in the Iron Banner.
- A “Banana” emblem, an Iron Banner shader, and through engrams also the “Iron Symmachy” armors from Destiny 1.
- Real iron wolves can also crown themselves with a title gilding.

If you wanted to score big in the Iron Banner, then pack the hand cannon Thorn – preferably with its catalyst: Most toxic weapon in Destiny 2 finally gets what players have been begging for for years
