Indeed, there could be some pretty good reasons why Nettie’s attempt to heal the bird doesn’t work out. Maybe her goal was actually to heal it slowly in order not to disturb the balance.

8:30 PM: Bungie has just successfully completed the maintenance. Players can log back into Destiny 2 immediately.
7:50 PM: The maintenance has been extended by 30 minutes.
6:00 PM: The Destiny servers have just gone offline. Players have been removed from ongoing activities and cannot log in until the maintenance is completed. The further schedule can be found further down in this article.
5:00 PM: Background maintenance has begun. During this maintenance, Destiny 2’s integration features on bungie.net will also remain offline, including the API.

Maintenance on January 25 – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unreachable for a maintenance of 2 hours and 15 minutes today.
Here is the schedule for the maintenance:
The background maintenance starts at 5:00 PM on all platforms.
At around 5:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
If everything goes well, the shooter will be back online at 8:00 PM and you can log in again.
Consider this during downtimes: As long as the background maintenance is ongoing, there may be connectivity issues in the game. Additionally, there may sometimes be login queues as Bungie releases access to the servers gradually to avoid issues from too high server load. Therefore, you may have to wait longer before you are back in the game.
Bungie has not specified the exact reasons for the maintenance. However, it is assumed that it aims to fix a recurring bug in The Convergence. The developer stated:
We are investigating an issue where the “Belonging” modifier appears in the activity “The Convergence” after update 7.3.0.6. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
While Bungie addresses this known issue, here are the latest problems that players reported to the developer in the Help Forum.
Guardians do not receive the correct unlocking of the right Triumphs after acquiring ritual ornaments for the sword “Gallant Fire”.
On some PCs, using the Alt key to access the desktop while the game is in full-screen mode can cause the image to freeze, requiring a restart of the game.
The badge “Forged in Grace” does not display its name when players hover over the badge in the inventory.
Some players are still unable to claim the title of the Season of Wishes as the last radio message is either faulty or missing.
A Game2Give event emblem states that possession is required to equip it, even though it has been received.
The Xûr glitch affects armor statistics.
The post-raid statistic may incorrectly indicate that the damage dealt to the boss by all Guardians is 0. Name changes of players cannot be adjusted indefinitely via bungie.net. Many players are still waiting for the return of the option to change their player name instead of receiving the message “You have no name changes available”.
