GTA 6 reveals new information about the music in the game along with a number of artists. The soundtrack is gradually taking shape – and MeinMMO editor Caro is looking forward to it.
What has been newly announced? Almost simultaneously, several artists revealed an image on various socials like Instagram or X that suspiciously resembles the art style of GTA 6. Among them, Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, and more announced that it is no coincidence: They are teasing their collaboration with Rockstar, which could indicate a soon-to-come reveal of the official soundtrack.
Which artists have published their own Rockstar post? Among the artists are, in addition to the three already mentioned:

They posted various images in the GTA 6 style, including a flamingo pool float, an iguana, a pool ladder, a yacht, a sports car, and a pair of high heels from a dancer at the pole.
An artist could contribute more than just a song
How does the collaboration go beyond songs? Travis Scott hints in his post that his collaboration with Rockstar for GTA 6 could go beyond simply contributing music. He writes:

What “J… O. H…..” stands for has already been deciphered by several fans, including YouTuber TGG as he explains in a new video. It corresponds to the “Jack of Hearts” club from GTA 6, led by Boobie Ike, which can be confirmed by the number of dots following the letters.
The Vice City legend is not only involved with clubs but also owns a recording studio in the city. The businessman works alongside up-and-coming musician Dre’Quan at Only Raw Records and is thus also involved in the music industry.
What does this mean for Travis Scott? So far, it is only a theory, but the artist’s post could indicate that he will not only be a part of the GTA 6 soundtrack, but specifically has something to do with the Jack of Hearts and Boobie. Perhaps the musician will have a role in the game, whether through voice work or as himself. We will have to wait for more information on that.
The soundtrack of GTA 6 must be at least as strong as that of its predecessor
This is what MeinMMO editor Caro says about the soundtrack of GTA 6: I am extremely excited to learn more about the soundtrack of GTA 6, and I am glad that with the social media posts, new information has been shared. I am not only generally a fan of movie and video game soundtracks – in previous games like Cyberpunk 2077 (where I wrote a detailed personal ranking of all radio stations), but also in GTA 5 the music is iconic and simply a massive part of the gaming experience when cruising around for hours in the car.
That we will spend a really high number of hours driving around in GTA 6 with the soundtrack of the game accompanying us is extremely likely. And that through characters like Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan, and Real Dimez we will delve even deeper into the music scene of Vice City is very exciting to me.
I have already set aside my hopeful attitude that we will receive a strong soundtrack. But only because the previous songs from the gameplay footage of GTA 6 are simply catchy tunes. Tracks like “Hot Together” (The Pointer Sisters), “Inner Light” (Elderbrook, Bob Moses), and a banger like “Se Me Nota” (Chimbale, Omega) are on repeat for me daily and come highly recommended!
The soundtrack of GTA 6 MUST be good to compete with other candidates. But I am not worried about that.
