Palworld 1.0 was shown at the Summer Game Fest with a new trailer. It has a different tone than the very first trailer did.
Do you remember the first trailer of Palworld? Back then, there was much talk about how similar it was to a certain other big monster series – but also that the vibe was quite different. The Pals were exploited, captured, or equipped with firearms. That drew attention.
Following that was a hugely successful early access release, but also many stories about lawsuits with Nintendo.
Now Palworld has shown itself again at the Summer Game Fest. But with a completely different focus:
Epic Monster Battle in the Trailer for Palworld 1.0
In the new cinematic trailer, we see a trainer and her Pals fighting against a gigantic dragon monster in the sky. Lightning, frantic maneuvers, but above all: teamwork. Those are the things that are emphasized in the new trailer.
An interesting image shift compared to the original trailer with which Palworld was released back then.
When does Palworld 1.0 come out? The full version is now officially set to release on July 10, 2026.
What does version 1.0 bring? Essentially, you can expect the usual gameplay revolving around capturing, training, and utilizing the Pals. The trailer showcases new Pals, new environments, and especially the world tree.
In addition to utilizing the Pals, Palworld also heavily involves crafting and creatively using various weapons. You build bases and work with the different abilities of the Pals.
Palworld was one of many games showcased at the Summer Game Fest. Other highlights include Resident Evil: Veronica, Aion 2, Guild Wars 3, and Final Fantasy 7. But that’s not all.
