The special program for version 1.3 in Honkai: Star Rail took place today. Players got a glimpse of the new characters, banners, and events.
The next version 1.3 is titled “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins”.
When does version 1.3 start in Honkai: Star Rail? The release date for version 1.3 is August 30, 2023.
Version 1.3 includes the following new content:
- 3 new playable characters
- 1 new chapter of the Trailblaze mission
- 4 new companion missions
- 1 new area
- and more

These are the banners in version 1.3 featuring Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan, and Lynx
Who are the new characters? Imbibitor Lunae is the 5-star version and dragon form of Dan Heng, our companion on the Astral Express. He is a combat type Imaginary and belongs to the Path of Destruction. The character uses skill points to activate his abilities.
His standard attack can be enhanced up to three times in a row. For his ultimate, Imbibitor Lunae targets a single enemy and deals imaginary damage to that enemy and nearby foes. He also gains a certain amount of Unassailable Scale
which offsets the used skill points.
Fu Xuan holds the title of Master Diviner and belongs to the Xianzhou Luofu. She is also a 5-star character, a combat type Quantum, and belongs to the Path of Preservation. With her abilities, she can absorb a certain amount of damage from her teammates and restore her own health points. Through her ultimate, she deals quantum damage to all enemies.
The third new character is the 4-star character Lynx, who is being added to the game. She is the youngest of the Landau siblings. She is also a combat type Quantum and walks the Path of Abundance. In combat, she has healing abilities.
What banners will there be in version 1.3? As usual, the banners will appear in 2 phases:
In the first phase, you can obtain the 5-star character Imbibitor Lunae. Additionally, the 4-star characters Yukong, Asta, and March 7th have increased chances.
In the second phase, the new 5-star character Fu Xuan will be available. Through this banner, you can also obtain the 4-star character Lynx. Additionally, Hook and Pela have increased chances.
Through the light cone action warps, you can also obtain the corresponding light cones “Brighter than the Sun” from Imbibitor Lunae and “Her Eyes are Already Closed” from Fu Xuan.

What else will be in version 1.3? Another chapter titled “A Soul Calming, a Long Way Ahead” will be added to the Trailblaze mission in version 1.3.
Additionally, the new area Aurum Alley will be introduced, an update in the universe simulation named “Swarm Catastrophe,” a new opponent, and two new stages.
Moreover, several events will take place where you can obtain Stellar Jade and the 4-star character Sushang. The “Gift of the Odyssey” event with special passes as rewards will also return.
Four new companion missions for the characters March 7th, Dan Heng, Lynx, and Luka will be added in the new version.
A major change in the game is that the maximum Trailblaze Power will be increased from 180 to 240 and a new power system called “Reserved Trailblaze Power” will be introduced. Soon, you will also be able to send stickers to friends.
