During a break on the film set, Henry Cavill received a visit from fans who brought along a now sold-out box of toy soldiers from Warhammer 40,000. The actor radiates genuine joy.
That Henry Cavill is a huge fan of Warhammer 40,000 has long been no secret. After all, he plays the lead role in the upcoming Warhammer series on Amazon. At the moment, however, the actor is working on another project.
In Łódź, a city in Poland, some scenes for the upcoming Highlander remake with Cavill were filmed. During a break, some fans visited him and gifted him a box of his favorite soldiers (on Instagram). The reaction speaks for itself:
On Reddit, allegedly one of the fans who gifted the box to Cavill speaks up. He states that they wanted to ensure the movie star took a nice memory of their city with him. The endeavor seems to have succeeded.
Cavill reportedly reciprocated with an autograph by signing a helmet replica of the Ultramarines, one of the orders of the famous Space Marines.
Custodes are Cavill’s current favorite army, the box is a rare piece
The box that the fans gifted Henry Cavill is the Custodes Battle Group from the Horus Heresy series – a box of super soldiers priced at an MSRP of 206 euros and currently sold out almost everywhere. As an operator of a Warhammer store in Łódź, the fan who surprised Cavill likely still had a box.
Adeptus Custodes are somewhat like the supercharged super version of the Space Marines, who are already similar to demigods. The new models were shown in January 2026:
Although Henry Cavill owns several Warhammer armies, his current minis are exactly the Custodes that his fans have now gifted him. This likely explains the actor’s genuine joy.
