The German esports scene of League of Legends has gained a new sponsor for the broadcasts of the major tournaments. As the only official German caster, Twitch streamer Tolkin will now be supported by Idealo.
How does Tolkin keep the esports scene alive on German Twitch? Since the end of Summoner’s Inn, which was the official German partner of LoL until the end of 2023 and accompanied all esports events, Twitch streamer Tolkin has become the sole German broadcasting partner.
At the beginning of his time as a partner, Tolkin was able to reach more viewers on Twitch than his former employer Freaks4U, who founded Summoner’s Inn. To this day, Tolkin remains the only German broadcasting partner for the LEC, the European league of LoL (lolesports.com).
Tolkin now receives support from Idealo
This is what the collaboration looks like: On April 29, 2026, Riot announced that Idealo would enter into a partnership with LoL esports. Idealo will be the official sponsor of the German broadcasts of the LEC, MSI, and Worlds. Idealo will be featured in Tolkin’s streams on Twitch in the future.
Idealo is an online comparison platform and wants to present exclusive offers for fans as part of the collaboration. These include merchandise, giveaways, and discounts. These offers will be available on-site at the arenas of the tournaments as well as online (lolesports.com).
What does Tolkin say about the collaboration? On X, Tolkin commented on the subject. He responded to his former NNO partner Karni, who labeled the collaboration as “Big W”, meaning a big success, and is glad that Tolkin finally gets something for carrying the German broadcast solo (x.com).
Tolkin responded with the following on X: “Thanks, man. It is the first broadcast sponsor of the LEC in German for years. LETS GOOOOO”
