Tournaments in League of Legends don’t always have to be with professionals. Sometimes, a 61-year-old Twitch grandma and some skill are enough to make headlines.
What was that tournament? The Brazilian ex-professional YoDa hosted a tournament where players with somewhat lower ranks are allowed to play as well.
Part of the tournament was the 61-year-old Twitch streamer flordelotus18. Since April 2021, she has been going live on the platform to play only League of Legends. In total, she has managed to stream the MOBA for 5,887 hours (twitchtracker.com).
Now she has shot and hit such great ultimates with the champion Ashe in the tournament that she became the star of the show. This ultimate involves a powerful arrow that can be shot across the entire map and stuns the affected enemy.
The Twitch Grandma Hits Multiple Apparently Impossible Arrows
How does her performance look? The Reddit user lukassrs shared a post showing a small montage of the arrow shots.
There are several scenes showing a kill after the Twitch grandma shot the arrow “into the blue”. But feel free to check it out yourself:
The user writes about the performance as follows: “She hits the most bizarre, impossible Ashe ults, and they are completely No-Scope (without aiming), simply by clicking on the minimap.”
Another Reddit user translates what was said by flordelotus18 at the end: “The best part is that she ends by shouting: Enche o rabo de flecha. Bora, which means: “Stuff arrows in their ass. Let’s go!”
Many other users also celebrate the streamer and initially did not expect that she would really only shoot without aiming.
This is not the first time that players or ex-professionals have organized a tournament. Recently, Twitch gold boy Jynxzi started a tournament with 40 other streamers. The rank range there was from absolute LoL beginners to really strong players like NoWay: LoL newbie invites 40 streamers to a tournament, ends in screaming for his team
