The Necromancer in Diablo Immortal is very popular, but apparently there is currently a problem: the best set for the class seems to have a bug.
This set is about: “The Shepherd’s Call to the Wolves” is one of the various sets in Diablo Immortal. The 6 different set pieces must be obtained from their respective dungeons.
That’s not so easy, as the dungeons range in difficulty between Hell I and Hell IV. However, you will be rewarded with a very powerful set. This is also the reason why the bug is appearing only now: many players were not yet far enough.
The Shepherd’s Call to the Wolves enhances your summons. Ideally, you can enter the “Frenzy State” with your summons, in which they deal significantly more damage. Additionally, you can enhance your critical damage.
This set is particularly interesting for Necromancers. One of the best builds for Necromancers fully relies on summons and “pets” are a popular playstyle for the class.
Necromancers rank higher on the tier list of Diablo Immortal. In the gameplay, you can see gameplay of the Necromancer and the other classes:
The set does not function quite as it should
What can the set actually do? The extent of the enhancements depends on how many pieces of the set you have:
- 2-piece set: Summons deal 15 % more damage.
- 4-piece set: The critical hit chance is increased by 3 % for each of your summoned creatures, up to a maximum of 18 %.
- 6-piece set: Your summons enter the Frenzy State for 12 seconds after each of their critical hits. This increases damage and attack speed by 60 %.
The 6-piece effect can only occur every 40 seconds, but when it does, it is worth it. Or at least it should be – because currently there seem to be problems.
This is the problem: In the Blizzard forum for bugs and issues, as well as in the Diablo Immortal subreddit, players report that the 6-piece bonus does not provide all the bonuses it should.
While there would be a speed boost from the set, the associated damage bonus of 60% currently seems to be missing.
This is particularly frustrating considering that this is an endgame item with which you want to deal as much damage as possible.
Whether the problem is being addressed is currently not known. Players hope that the bonus will be available again – and not just that the description is faulty and only the damage bonus is intended.
Recently, the issue of “Warbands” also caused frustration in Diablo Immortal. Players said, the feature should simply be removed.
