In theory, you can farm hundreds of levels in Diablo Immortal. However, in practice, there is a “cap” that you cannot exceed. Blizzard has now presented the roadmap for 2024 – with a new class, new features, and an overhauled Paragon system.
What feature is it about?
- Paragon is a leveling system where you can continue leveling after reaching the maximum level.
- Unlike in Diablo 3, you have special Paragon trees that provide you with additional effects in Diablo Immortal.
- Tightly connected with the Paragon is the server Paragon, which increases daily. If you are below this limit, you level up faster. Above it, you level up slower.
This is the problem with Paragon: The core of Diablo games is the endless grind to become stronger. Previous games achieved this through more items or Paragon that never ends.
However, in Diablo Immortal, there is a limit: At a certain value, you simply no longer receive experience or at least so little that you effectively do not level up anymore. The game holds you back.
Unlike the major criticism of Pay2Win, which is particularly relevant in PvP, you cannot pay to overcome the Paragon limit. The frustration goes so far that some say: Pay2Win is no longer the biggest problem in the endgame.
However, the new roadmap for Diablo Immortal now includes a note about the Paragon and that the system is to be overhauled.

Diablo Immortal will receive a new class and more in 2024
Between April and June, the summer update for Diablo Immortal is scheduled. According to the roadmap, it includes:
- a new Paragon system
- a new equipment system
- new relic bosses
- new game modes
Unfortunately, we cannot yet say what exactly the overhaul will look like. In the past, the developers have raised the general Paragon level. However, that was just an expansion of the existing system.
Now, there is talk of a concretely “new” system. This statement gives hope that criticisms such as the EP limit will be abolished. However, those starting new will probably have little contact with it anyway.
Additionally, the roadmap mentions a new class between March and April. Already in 2023, there was a completely new class in Diablo with the Blood Knight, at that time with complaints that it would not come to Diablo 4.
We do not yet know which new class is coming. The community suspects an old favorite like the Assassin or Druid from Diablo 2. However, a completely new class is also possible.
