What kind of collaboration is this? World of Warcraft is turning 20, and Diablo Immortal is celebrating with it. To mark the anniversary, there are some new features available for the players of the mobile version of Diablo, which will be accessible from now until December 11.
The most important feature is undoubtedly the Lich King, who can be defeated as a boss.

The Lich King is back
How does the Lich King enter the world of Diablo? The developers are aware that it is difficult to mix the two worlds, and the Lich King should preferably not interact with villagers from Diablo Immortal. Therefore, the collaboration takes place in a portal between the worlds.
There you will also encounter the Lich King, who will face you as an opponent. The boss fight against the Lich King has been slightly modified for Diablo Immortal to ensure it works well on mobile and especially for the target audience.
For example, the Lich King’s ability “Unforgiving Winter” has been shortened. Anyone who stands in it will not only take damage but will also be frozen. To avoid being frozen, there are ice columns behind which players can hide.
What else is included in the collaboration? Especially iconic cosmetic items. Among other things, a skin reminiscent of Illidan Stormrage. Additionally, the dangerous Murlocs are also making their way through the portal.
Those who like to show their colors can equip their character with a banner of the Alliance or the Horde thanks to the collaboration. The flags will flutter on your character and enhance their appearance.
