Blizzard has released the first information on the upcoming Season 15 in Diablo 4. It includes a feature that gives your favorite characters a new life.
What is this feature? With Season 15, several new features will be introduced, including the so-called Rebirth feature (known as Rebirth) from Diablo 3, which will be making its way into part 4. With this feature, you can transform eternal realms characters into seasonal characters and carry out a naming rebirth with them. This way, you can experience new seasons with your favorite characters without having to recreate them from scratch each time.
The name, class, appearance, and mode (either Normal or Hardcore) will remain intact. Your configured skins, mounts, and companions will also be retained. However, equipment and level will fall victim to the reincarnation, and you will have to start anew at level 1 with no equipment or past items.
You’ll read how this works exactly and what you should keep in mind on page 2.
On Reddit, many players are happy that their wish is finally being fulfilled and that their characters, with whom they have somehow grown attached, are finally getting meaning again and that they won’t have to start the next season with their 10th twin.
“Welcome back, Ticklebutt, my Season-0 Sorcerer.”
What does the community say about the return of the feature? On Reddit, the excitement is high, and players are already discussing which characters they want to bring back to life. Fabio_Rosolen opens his thread with the words: “Finally a rebirth option for our characters.”
SpaceDodoSC is excited: “Man, this is really a big deal for me. I know it’s not that important for most, but I absolutely hate having to create a new character every season, and I would much rather have my old OG accompany me throughout the whole game.”
ijizzrizz agrees: “I’ve been waiting for this since Season 0. Wow. It means a lot to me.” And Divided_we will also welcome an old friend: “Welcome back, Ticklebutt, my Season-0 Sorcerer.”
A final change met with similar enthusiasm – mostly because a phrasing had led many players to previously sacrifice their hard-earned items: Blizzard changes a single word in Diablo 4 so that players no longer have to sacrifice their valuable items
