When is the release time for Lord of Hatred? On the night from Monday, April 27, to Tuesday, April 28, Lord of Hatred will start at 1:00 AM German time. The associated Season 13 will begin half an hour later, at 1:30 AM.

On Reddit, players report that the new talisman tab in the inventory is not showing, even though items for it are already dropping. Several suggest creating a (new) Warlock, playing until seals and talisman spells drop, using them, and then relogging.
The problem occurs for many, especially in co-op mode.

Lord of Hatred launches with queues – Blizzard must increase capacity
Currently, some players complain in live streams and on Reddit about disconnects, lags, and long loading times. If you can’t get into the game at all and get error messages, restart the game or the launcher directly – if in doubt, via the task manager. A restart of your PC or console can also help.
Blizzard notes in the Battle.net launcher that they are aware of the queues when logging in and that the developers are working to increase capacity so that more players can join.

You can secure some cosmetics if you watch a stream live in the “Diablo 4” category on Twitch after the release.
- You will receive the emblem “Essence of a Lord” if you watch for two hours between April 28 at 01:00 AM CEST and May 5 at 09:00 PM CEST.
- You will receive the mount trophy “Flag of the Conqueror” if you subscribe to a streamer in the category for a fee between May 5 and May 11.
- And you will receive the axe “Skull Blade” if you watch a streamer in the “Diablo 4” category for 2 hours – between May 11 and May 18.

The content creator for Diablo 4, “DatModz”, has summarized in a post on X how you should proceed when launching Lord of Hatred. Below, we summarize the tips in English:
- Select your character and build.
- Select “Seasonal” + the desired game mode (the season starts 30 minutes after launch) or Eternal.
- Select the difficulty level “Normal” or “Hard”.
- Equip your loot pet in the character menu under “Wardrobe”.
- Travel to the mercenary hideout and select a mercenary and a reinforcement. (Subo for the “map hack” or Raheir for survivability).
- Complete the “Lord of Hatred” campaign.
- Complete your class quest at level 15 or 25 (Necromancer). If you have played the class already, you can skip this and equip directly.
- Complete the season journey and the new final dungeons (Capstone Dungeons) to progress and earn great rewards.
- Adjust the difficulty level depending on how well you are progressing.
- Complete war plans/open-world activities until about level 55.
- Starting from level 50+: Complete all strongholds on difficulty “Normal”.
- At level 70: Focus on collecting and leveling glyphs in the dungeon.
- Or you ignore all this, play how you want, and just have fun!

Even if you can log in right at 1:00 AM, you should wait with character creation if you want to play the season and not want to play double. However, if you want to familiarize yourself with the Warlock, you can of course use the time.
However, we already expect server issues right at launch.
Lord of Hatred – New campaign, new class, finally a cow level?
In Lord of Hatred, you will face Mephisto, one of the major evils in Diablo. The campaign lasts about 10 hours of gameplay (including cutscenes) before you are released into the endgame, with new features such as:
- War plans, with which you choose your own goals
- completely new skill trees that you even receive if you do not buy Lord of Hatred
- the Horadric cube for new crafting possibilities
- the talisman that grants you set bonuses
Since a new class is introduced with the expansion, the cow level comes closer as well. Here is the current theory of the community, that each class must throw a special coin into a fountain to open the portal to the cow level. Starting tonight, you can start uncovering the secret yourself.
