The streamer KubaFPS, often referred to simply as Kuba
, has made waves in the German Twitch community after accepting a casino deal.
What did Kuba’s first casino stream look like? The fact that Twitch streamer Kuba accepted a casino deal was so unbelievable for many fans that they initially thought it was a joke. However, by Sunday, July 5, 2026, there was no doubt about Kuba’s seriousness, as he streamed online casino for the first time on his Twitch channel.
Before he went into the “slots,” Kuba streamed for just under half an hour in Just Chatting and reached a peak of 25,000 concurrent viewers during that time. This is an impressive number for the streamer, who had averaged between 2,000 to 4,000 viewers in recent months (Source: SullyGnome.com).
After the uproar over the switch and the criticism from fellow streamers, many viewers were apparently curious if Kuba would really go through with it. At the same time, it also became clear: Kuba lost over 3,000 followers during this stream, and his viewer count dropped rapidly as soon as he switched to the category slots
– that is, online casino.
With over 10,000 viewers, Kuba’s numbers were still quite high even after the initial influx of viewers. Whether this will hold steady as the novelty factor wears off remains to be seen.
Even Knossi became famous for his reactions to online casinos, but he never accepted a deal, as he himself says:

Kuba explains (as seen in the Twitch VOD) that he has received a lot of backlash recently, especially after Trymacs’ reaction. Nevertheless, his decision stands firm. He had thought about entering the casino category 4 years ago. Although he was [financially] doing well in Germany before, he still accepted the casino deal because of the money.
What are the reactions? The Twitch chat during the stream also reflects part of the sentiment against Kuba: Many Ls are spammed – which is an abbreviation for the term loser

The streamer Chefstrobel also gave a statement about the situation. He lived with Kuba in an apartment for a long time and is one of his best friends. He would always remain that way, said Chefstrobel on YouTube.
Chefstrobel can understand the decision on one hand, but on the other hand, he cannot. He described Kuba’s casino deal as the wrong way
and clearly states that the money Kuba receives from this deal is generated through the suffering of other people.
