In the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the Legion faction gives you the mission “Key Elimination”. You are to complete a mission and then use a key. We will show you how to do that on MeinMMO.
In the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, you can complete contracts for factions. One of these factions is the “Legion” and they send you to take out an HRZ and then use a key.

How do I take out an HRZ? This is a contract that you accept during the match. You can identify the contract by the following symbol on the map:
However, there is no guarantee that the contract is available in your match. When we made the screenshot, we only had that contract once on the map. A minute later, the contract was gone – other teams are also hunting the HRZ.
If you have activated the mission, you need to go to the marked point on your map. The marker shows you an enemy – well armored and accompanied by a group of armed NPC buddies.
Proceed carefully and take out the enemies one by one – an armored vehicle can help, just run over the enemies. Once the HRZ is down, the contract is complete. The HRZ kill of a team member also counts.
How do I get keys? The enemy from the HRZ contract drops a key for you. You store the keys in your inventory and these can be used 3 times and also extracted – so you can store them in your DMZ inventory outside of matches.
You do not have to use the key that you got from the HRZ. Any key works for the mission. Here are 3 ways to get one:
- Complete HRZ mission
- Have luck while looting
- Buy at a buy station for 30,000 cash
That completes step 2.
What is there to do in the end? Now you need to use the key, which can lead to problems. Because while the keys give you a hint of where you can use them, the target location is often not that clear.
A key tells you something like “Key to the room in Yum Yum Burger” and the quadrant on the map – in this example G3. So you need to go to this quadrant and look for a “Yum Yum Burger” location and the corresponding room.
As mentioned before, it doesn’t matter which key you use. If you can’t find a key location, try to find a new key.
What do you get as a reward? Upon completing the mission “Key Elimination”, you receive 7,500 XP and the loading screen “Fanning King”.
However, if you are only playing the free Warzone, then the loading screen will not benefit you. Currently, the loading screen can only be set in the multiplayer menu of Modern Warfare 2.
