In Call of Duty Warzone 2, players typically do not progress quickly when applying new armor plates. However, one player has now discovered a trick to speed things up.
If you want to survive as long as possible in a CoD Warzone 2 match, you should protect yourself with armor against damage.
In a close fight, however, there is often little time to reload the important armor plates – and you also move slowly while applying them.
This makes you normally an easy target in or after a fight when you are applying armor and cannot take cover. A player has now found a trick on how to reload armor while running.
Warzone 2 allows players to speed up armor application with jumps
Here’s how the trick works: On Twitter, the user “north navi” demonstrated how to move faster in Warzone 2 when applying armor.
The solution apparently involves jumping, as seen in the video:
While applying the plates, players should run forward and simultaneously start jumping. Starting from the second armor plate, the operator will then begin to run – so it likely won’t work if you only reload one plate.
The trick is not the first movement-related one: Right now, the so-called “G-Walk” is also making the rounds in Warzone 2. This involves a combination of crouching, jumping, and sliding to move forward faster than with normal running.
Regarding armor, there are also a few things to keep in mind in Warzone 2. For example, there is now equipment that allows you to carry more armor plates. And in the DMZ mode, you can receive more armor plates if you aim at the head instead of the torso.
