Darth Vader is one of the most powerful Sith ever. The following characters have defeated him nonetheless. Among them is Celeste Morne, who faced Vader right after a long sleep.

The Jedi Master Celese Morne had been in a stasis capsule in cold sleep for 4,000 years when Darth Vader awakened her. In doing so, she possesses the Muur Talisman, an artifact containing the spirit of the Sith Lord Karness Muur.
When Morne awakens, she confronts Vader. In direct combat, she soon realizes that she cannot prevail. So she reaches for the Talisman and uses its power: She transforms the troops standing by Vader into Rakghouls. The Jedi Master commands them telepathically and puts Vader in a difficult position.
The Sith Lord is suddenly outnumbered. He would have to defend himself against a powerful Jedi and a horde of wild Rakghouls at the same time. For tactical reasons, he concedes and makes his escape.
