Yoda is one of the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars and also generally one of the strongest characters. However, the following seven candidates surpass the green dwarf.
Yoda is one of the flagship characters of Star Wars, and rightly so: The old Jedi Master earns this title more than any other and can boast 900 years of experience.
Nevertheless, there are characters in the canon as well as Legends that surpass Yoda in terms of power. A selection of them can be found in this list. You can jump directly to a specific character via the table of contents:
The Ones – The Family of the Mortis Gods
- First Appearance: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Season 3, Episode 15)
This position is a bit of a cheat, as three characters are trying to fit into it. We are talking about the Ones, also known as the Force Guardians of Mortis or Mortis Gods. This includes the Father, the Daughter, the Son, and the Mother, who we will explicitly exclude here because she occupies a special position.
However, each of the other three is enormously powerful. They represent different aspects of the Force. The Daughter stands for the light, the Son for the dark, while the Father stands in the middle and ensures balance.
The three are so powerful because they are essentially cosmic beings and control the Force. In comparison, Yoda is an ordinary character who cannot hold a candle to these nearly immortal entities (only a special dagger can kill them).
