What happened? In the two episodes, his love for Bulma becomes palpable for the first time. Although the two were already married and had a child, their dialogues are quite cool – in an entertaining way.
However, when the God of Destruction, Beerus, slaps Bulma at a birthday party, all of Vegeta’s synapses go crazy. He even manages to briefly be stronger than Son Goku in the triple Super Saiyan mode and confronts Beerus.
Additionally, there’s a moment at the Tournament of Power where all universes fight for their existence. Vegeta refuses to start training because his wife Bulma is heavily pregnant with their second child. He makes it clear that he won’t move an inch from Bulma’s side until the baby is born.
