What happened? After Son Goku’s self-sacrifice, it seems that Cell is defeated. However, the villain returns in an even stronger form. Without warning, Cell fires a death beam, piercing Future Trunks directly through the chest. The future Saiyan is immediately dead.
Vegeta has to watch his son from the future being killed, and he freezes for a moment in complete shock. He completely loses his mind and, although he knows that Cell is far superior to him, he lets out a bone-chilling scream and unleashes a relentless barrage of energy attacks on Cell.
Why is this moment so important? During training in the Room of Spirit and Time, Vegeta often encountered Trunks with coldness and harshness. But at that moment, his inner wall collapses, and he shows that he has a protective instinct and feels deep sorrow.
Previously, he had claimed that his family didn’t matter to him. This uncontrolled outburst of rage, however, proves otherwise.
