MeinMMO presents 5 defining moments of Vegeta from Dragon Ball. Vegeta sacrifices his own life so that the other Z Warriors can continue fighting.

What happened? There was a brief moment when Vegeta relapsed and was ashamed of his tame family life. Desire Gin was enchanted by the evil wizard Babidi and became briefly the ruthless warrior he once was.
However, when he realizes the extent of the destruction caused by Majin Buu, he takes responsibility for his mistakes. He decides to end his life and take Buu with him in an explosion. Just before that, he even embraces his son Trunks, saying he hasn’t held him since he was a baby.
Why is this moment so important? The moment shows that Vegeta is no longer the warrior butcher he once was. He realizes that his family is important to him and that he simply wants them to be safe. That’s why he deliberately knocks Trunks unconscious to put him out of harm’s way.
Vegeta, who has always fought for himself, sacrifices his own life to save others. Even more: He sacrifices his soul knowing that for all his deeds, he will not end up in heaven but in hell.
