The most annoying achievements of World of Warcraft will soon be significantly easier. You save months and even years of time to get a great title.
In World of Warcraft, there are numerous achievements that require a long time to complete. While many of these achievements only need ambition and some hours of “work” at a stretch, others take much longer. Due to weekly limitations, some achievements can even take many months or more than a year – but a number of these achievements will soon be much easier.
This refers to the Ember Court and over a dozen achievements that you can unlock there.
What is the Ember Court? The Ember Court was an endgame feature from Shadowlands and belonged to the Venthyr Covenant from Revendreth. Here, you could invite some guests each week and then try to fulfill their personal wishes at a celebration. While a Lady Vashj loves a celebration with brutality and assassinations, the feathered Mikanikos prefers cleanliness and harmony.
Since the guests have different wishes, it is best to invite visitors with similar interests – or accept that you might not be able to make everyone happy.
In total, there are 16 different visitors, of which only a few come to visit at any time and – if you fulfill their wishes – you will be rewarded with reputation with them.
The catch is that the celebrations at the Ember Court can only take place once a week. Each week at the weekly reset, you can open a new Ember Court and invite new guests.
If you want to obtain all the achievements here, you have to hold the Ember Court for more than a whole year every week – and that also with “planning”, because if you don’t maximize the reputation gain, it will take even longer.
What will change now? In Patch 10.2 Guardian of Dreams, it might not be about the Shadowlands or the Ember Court, but Blizzard has still included a nice “Quality of Life” change in the patch. From now on, the Ember Court can be opened once a day. This reduces the necessary time to achieve all the achievements by almost 85%.
Those who put in the effort can “complete” the Ember Court in a few weeks and earn all rewards, including the cool “Festival Herald” title.
However, you still need to invest enough time, as every day the guests need to be manually invited first and some tasks have to be fulfilled for them to even show up at the party.
When will it come? There is still no release date for Patch 10.2. However, if Blizzard adheres to the previous release plans for patches, we can expect the patch and the associated changes around the end of October or beginning of November.
