Housing fans in World of Warcraft will have to consider whether to become professional raiders. Otherwise, they won’t acquire all items.
In a few weeks, the preview of the housing feature will start in World of Warcraft before it launches with Midnight for everyone. Housing is intended to be particularly accessible and basically offers something for all players. However, that doesn’t mean that everyone will be able to obtain all furniture and decorations. From the beta of Midnight, we know: some really exquisite statues are only available for hardcore players.

What are these housing items? Through data mining from wowhead, we already know that some of the toughest raid achievements will be rewarded with special rewards. For the “Cutting Edge” achievement, which involves defeating the final boss on mythic difficulty, there will be a golden statue in each of the three raids of Midnight that symbolizes the respective final battle.
It is still unknown whether these statues will also be available in other color variants in other ways.
It’s also exciting that we will presumably lose in the raids of Midnight.
How can you still obtain the statues? As of now: not at all. The trophies are only available if you have completed the respective raid on mythic difficulty while the raid was “current content”. Therefore, you must complete the raid during the active season.
Conversely, this likely means that professional guilds can tap into a new target audience as customers for “sell runs”. Many players who cannot reach the level to complete the raid on mythic difficulty will still want these trophies for their home. In that case, it is often possible to “buy into” groups and achieve the success for a substantial amount, even if they contribute nothing during the actual battle.
