The Horizon event in Pokémon GO is in full swing, and first players are already on the hunt for the special event Charmander to consequently obtain the final Charizard. However, a trainer points out an important tip that will allow you to achieve the final evolution in just a few seconds – with many candies as a bonus.
What is this trick? During the Horizon event in Pokémon GO, which takes place from September 16 to 22 at 8:00 PM, you can get to the event Charizard much faster than through the regular way.
Instead of evolving an event Charmander from scratch using candies, this can be done much faster with a trick:
As the trainer cutepotato19 explains on Reddit, you can trigger an encounter with the Friedel glasses Charizard by taking a snapshot of your buddy Pokémon, which will then be photobombed by Friedel and his Charizard. When you close the buddy window, the event Charizard will spawn in the wild, which you can then catch.
Not only faster but also more economical and lucrative
What other advantages does the trick offer? In addition to the benefit that photographing and catching is significantly faster than first finding a Charmander and evolving it, it also pays off for other reasons: You save a lot of candies – a full 125 Charmander candies to evolve a Charmander into a Charizard – and by catching a Charizard, you can double the nice 20 candies with a Nanab Berry to receive 40 pieces as a bonus per catch.
You can trigger up to 5 snapshot encounters per day. However, how often a Charizard appears is random.
Starting today, if one uses the 6 days until September 22 to utilize this trick daily, during the event (if you receive at least 1 Charizard per day), you can earn between 6 and 30 Charizards, and with the use of Nanab Berries, you can earn between 240 and 1,200 Charmander candies. Only through snapshots.
With the today’s spotlight hour (September 17 at 6:00 PM), the loot can be even thicker.
