In Windrose you will unlock many upgrades for your ships throughout your career as a captain, and one of them is cannons. The bigger, the better, but how do you equip them? We will show you!
How to equip cannons? In order to equip cannons on your ship, you first need to build a shipyard. This will be automatically unlocked at the shipbuilding workshop when you have crafted a set of cannons for the first time.
Once your shipyard is established at your warehouse, you can go into the menu and drag the cannons from your inventory into your ship’s inventory. They will then be automatically constructed. Once constructed, you can use them from that point on. If you want to set up other cannons, you can simply replace your old ones with new ones.
Which cannons are the best? This actually depends on your ship, as depending on the type and upgrade level, you can equip either small or large cannons. Those who want the most powerful weapons on the ship should consistently opt for the Blackbeard.
The currently largest weapons that you can place on your ship are the 36lb cannons, and they currently only fit on the Blackbeard frigate. Weaker Blackbeard ships can also equip 12lb or 24lb cannons, which are somewhat weaker but especially prove useful in the early and mid-game.
