With Warhammer Survivors, a new game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be released on Steam this year, based on a viral indie hit that couldn’t be better rated. Now you can play it for the first time.
What is Warhammer Survivors? The new game comes from Auroch Digital, who have teamed up with the creatives at poncle and Games Workshop to bring the captivating rogue-lite gameplay of the popular indie hit Vampire Survivors into the beloved Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The release is planned for the current gaming year. For a short time, you can download a demo on Steam and try it out. This gives you a short, curated insight into the experience of Warhammer Survivors – covering both sides: the original Warhammer 40,000 and the newer Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
Depending on your choice of universe, different heroes are available to you, such as Malum Caedo (title character from Boltgun) or Neave Blacktalon (warrior of the God-King Sigmar).
Perfect symbiosis of a strong license and motivating gameplay
What else characterizes Warhammer Survivors? Gameplay-wise, of course, Warhammer Survivors is also supposed to offer the fast-paced gameplay from the “big predecessor”, but with plenty of Warhammer spice. The developers promise for the release:

- A arsenal of familiar weapons like Boltgun, Astartes Chainsword, Whirlwind Axes

At the same time, Vampire Survivors belongs to the best-rated games on Steam – with 98 percent positive reviews from nearly 250,000 total reviews.
