The YouTuber Rezo (30) had a date with 17 women for a video. On Twitch, he watches himself and can hardly look. For him, the format is apparently mainly an obstacle course, trying not to put his foot in his mouth.
What was that situation like? The “dates” took place as part of a video series by the YouTuber Sebastian “Rewinside” Meyer.
In 3 rounds, the participant is confronted with 15 – in Rezo’s case 17 – candidates, from which he has to choose one in the end. As Rezo emphasizes, it’s not about finding true love: All involved are aware that it’s just a video and everything is “just for fun”.
After the Twitch newcomer LetsHugo, Rezo, known to many as the “destroyer of the CDU”, participated in the format. He found the whole action terribly uncomfortable from start to finish. For maximum “cringe” factor, the 30-year-old reacts on Twitch together with his viewers to the video.

Rezo faces 17 women at speed dating, can’t handle it
How did the big speed date go for Rezo? Before it even begins, the streamer already warns his viewers: This is going to be really uncomfortable, but that’s what the format is for. In the first round, Rezo has only a few seconds to decide whether he wants to take a candidate to the next round. He can only allow just under half of the 17 women to continue.
Already with the first candidate, the YouTuber is visibly overwhelmed: She starts the conversation by asking if he could destroy her just like the CDU. In his reaction, Rezo says he was so nervous and that this was the first thing he heard.
The 30-year-old is visibly embarrassed and doesn’t really know what to say. So he asks the candidate about her place of residence, which she had already mentioned when introducing herself – it doesn’t get much better in the 54-minute video.

Just don’t do anything wrong
Why is this so uncomfortable for Rezo? Besides the fact that the 30-year-old already finds the original situation uncomfortable, several aggravating factors come into play for him. He is very concerned about how he comes across in the video.
- To the viewers, it looks like the participant is alone in a room and the candidates come to him one by one. But as Rezo explains, all 17 candidates sat in the room with their friends – he was therefore alone with 25 women.
- It is visibly difficult for the YouTuber to reject the candidates. He probably doesn’t want anyone to feel bad and keeps emphasizing that they were all wonderful women.
- Some of the candidates are very young, which is an immediate exclusion criterion for Rezo. Flirting with an 18-year-old for a video is not an option for the 30-year-old.
Already at this point, there is the impression that the content creator has countless different ways in mind how things could go wrong and he could end up looking bad. He seems to be trying to preempt all possible critics.
The design of the second and third rounds is then aimed at creating physical contact between Rezo and the remaining candidates, and here too, the content creator is very concerned about his outward appearance.
He analyzes the body language of the women in detail to show that nothing happened that the candidate didn’t want: Yes, he might have had his hand on her thigh, but she would keep putting her hand on his, thereby holding him in place.
Moreover, he is just very “touchy”; that has nothing to do with flirting. He would also place a hand on a friend’s shoulder while talking. The YouTuber does everything to avoid coming off as overbearing.
Could have been worse
How is the verdict? In the end, Rezo is quite satisfied with his performance. It was uncomfortable, but it could have been worse, says the streamer. It was important for him not to appear pushy or overly eager, which he seems to have accomplished quite well.
Fans also give praise: Besides the vicarious embarrassment, viewers particularly appreciate how respectfully Rezo handled the candidates.
At least: To have an uncomfortable speed date with 17 women, they must have fundamentally agreed to such a date. And even though it is visibly difficult for Rezo to sort out participants, this is probably more pleasant than receiving a rejection from 8 women at the same time:
