Showcases are a special competition in Pokémon GO. Here, it’s not about how strong your monsters are. Instead, it depends on other attributes – for example, the size of your monster.
The more trainers participate in such a showcase, the harder it is for you to win it. A trainer on Reddit demonstrates how it can go. And the community has a clear opinion on the showcases.
“I will never participate again”
What did the trainer accomplish? On Reddit, the trainer shows that he was able to reach first place in a whopping 5 showcases at the same time. A result that trainers in cities with many PoGo fans can only dream of. Since the new season, it is possible to participate in up to 5 showcases simultaneously on Tuesdays. So the player has won all showcases he participated in right away.
The trainer does not mention what rewards he received. However, showcases can be worthwhile, as you can sometimes get strong rewards like incubators if you win them.
If the trainer is still on the hunt for medals in Pokémon GO, he may have made nice progress towards a medal with this achievement. Because for the “Showcase Star” medal, you need to win a total of 100 showcases to reach the platinum level.
