The paid Early Access of Path of Exile 2 starts tomorrow, December 6th at 8:00 PM. We wanted to know from you if you are in and willing to spend money on it. So many of you are in.
What does the Early Access look like? The Early Access of Path of Exile 2 starts on December 6, 2024, at 8:00 PM our time. The preload has already started. You can read more about how this is structured across different platforms in our news with all the important information about Early Access.
At the start, the first three acts of the game can be played. Six of the announced 12 classes will be available. You can also dive into the endgame already.
Unlike the final release version, the Early Access does cost money. We wanted to know from you if you will pay for it and if so, which Early Access package you have in mind.
3,618 people already know exactly how they view the Early Access
What are the results of the survey? A total of 3,618 readers participated in the survey. Since multiple answers could be selected, we captured a total of 4,001 votes.
In fact, 1,706 of you voted for the No
option. This means that 47 percent of participants are out and will not start in the Early Access. The remaining 53 percent of the votes are in, and you have indicated which of the potential content packages you want.
Which Early Access packages are popular? There are a total of six Early Access packages, which, in addition to access from December 6th, also include various levels of in-game and physical goodies. Here’s how you voted:
Rank 6 – Warlord of the Karui: Only 20 votes were cast for the 240 Euro Warlord of the Karui
package. It is the second most expensive bundle and comes with a shirt and a hoodie.
Rank 5 – Thaumaturge of the Vaal: The middle of the five packages received 34 votes. Priced at 160 Euros, it is the first bundle that includes a physical goodie – a shirt.
Rank 4 – King of the Faridun: The King of the Faridun
bundle for 100 Euros narrowly missed the podium with 119 votes.
Rank 3 – Liberator of Wraeclast: The currently most expensive package in the selection with all goodies, for which a full 480 Euros must be laid down, occupies 3rd place in the voting. At least 197 people indicated that they want to secure the largest of the potential bundles.
Rank 2 – Lord of Ogham: The second cheapest package (60 Euros) also ranks second in the survey. 199 players want to acquire this bundle from the developer.
Rank 1 – Early Access Supporter: Rank one leaves all bundles far behind – a total of 1,176 survey participants say they want to start the game with the only 30 Euro basic package.
That the cheapest bundle has the most supporters is not surprising. In fact, we would find it interesting to know why some voters chose one of the more expensive packages. Is there one that a buyer of the Early Access Supporter package would upgrade to? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
