The developers of Lost Ark have added a class to the MMORPG with a new update that every gamer would love to have in their favorite MMORPG.
What kind of class is it? The latest update of Lost Ark has introduced the “Guardian Knight” as a new class. While the name sounds like a completely generic name for a tank class in an MMORPG, it actually conceals a dragon knight with unique abilities.

Dragon awaken
What can the dragon knight do? Although the developers might mislead players somewhat with the name of the new class, it is a warrior who, equipped with a halberd, accumulates energy during combat.
Once the warrior has gathered enough energy, he can, in keeping with the motto “Dragon awaken”, flip the switch and immediately transform into dragon form. This gives him new, powerful attacks that heat up the battlefield.
This new class attacks enemies with wings, scales, and claws, before delivering devastating dragon breath damage on top. The class is not one of the typical classes in the game. It is a standalone primary class that operates independently of other types.
How is Lost Ark doing? Even though the release of the new class has more than doubled player numbers according to SteamDB on Steam, things look grim for Lost Ark right now. Player numbers during peak times in January were at their lowest ever, and the exit of Amazon Games from the MMORPG sector makes the future of Lost Ark even more uncertain.
While Lost Ark, unlike New World, will not be shut down, the initial cuts such as the removal of the German language clearly show that the MMORPG is currently undergoing budget cuts.
Even though the new class in Lost Ark looks really good, the MMORPG is currently struggling. While the MMORPG isn’t bad, players seem to be lacking the motivation to dive back into the once-hit from Korea.
