6. Butcher
Butcher is a rather difficult case for this list, as he has had his super tentacles since Season 4, so we are not counting his Temp-V abilities. Essentially, he seems like one of the strongest characters in The Boys universe; after all, his tentacles could easily take out several Supes. Additionally, he can lift cars, as shown in Season 5.
That sounds quite powerful, but Butcher doesn’t really fight much with this ability. During his confrontation with Soldier Boy in Season 5, he fled after throwing a car, and also against Homelander, he didn’t really fight in Episode 1 of Season 5. Most of the time, he used the tentacles for ambushes.
His focus on the virus and Ryan shows that he doesn’t really want to engage directly against the two strongest Supes because he apparently doesn’t think he can win. However, if he has a bigger fight in the final episode, he could rank higher.
