At the Summer Game Fest 2026, SHIFT Up showed a first trailer for Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. Everything known about the sequel so far can be found here.
What kind of game is this? With the action game Stellar Blade, the South Korean developer studio Shift Up Corporation had a huge success – first on PS5, then also on PC with nearly 200,000 players on Steam at the same time. Now the studio has announced a sequel: Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN.
Among gamers, Stellar Blade had the reputation of being the “18+” game because it engages in fan service on a large scale. The characters are repeatedly showcased through revealing skins, wiggling body parts, and cutesy animations and poses.

This is what the trailer shows: The first trailer for Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN initially focuses heavily on world-building: we see some sequences of the setting and various characters.
As the trailer progresses, the shown content suddenly becomes much more action-packed. There are explosions, bloody fights with melee combos, and action-packed sequences.
This is known about the game: From the video description on YouTube, it is clear that Blood Rain will continue the story of the first game. Additionally, there will be a new protagonist named Evie. The exact role Evie will play in the storyline is currently unknown.
