What is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners about? In Night City, young David Martinez tries to meet his mother’s expectations: a good school graduation to get an esteemed position at the mega-corporation Arasaka. In a confrontation with one of the street gangs, David’s life hangs in the balance – until he comes into contact with the Sandevistan cyberware, which grants him superhuman speed.
However, for exploiting these powers, David gets expelled from school. The attractive data thief Lucy then takes an interest in David and gradually pulls him into the world of Edgerunners – a criminal group of cyborgs who risk going crazy due to increasingly advanced technology in their bodies.
