When is the preload for Monster Hunter Wilds? The preload is now live and can be started on all available platforms. The preload is 56.83 GB on PC, around 55.83 GB on Xbox, and 55.8 GB on PS5.
When can I play Monster Hunter Wilds? It has long been known that the release for all platforms will take place on February 28, 2025. Now the creators have also revealed the exact times for all regions.
In our time zone (CET), it starts on consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) at 00:00. PC players, however, will have to wait until 06:00 to get started.
Is there an early access? There is no edition of Monster Hunter Wilds that allows you to purchase an early start.

What else do I need to know about the launch? The developers have meanwhile adjusted the required storage space from 140 GB to about 75 GB.
Those who want to experience Monster Hunter Wilds with up to three hunters in co-op (with crossplay) need an active PS Plus subscription on PS5 and an online multiplayer subscription via Game Pass Core or Ultimate on Xbox. If you want to enjoy Wilds solely alone, the respective subscription is not necessary.
