A fan and player of Monster Hunter Wilds was surprised by his 10-year-old son with a special achievement that could not make him prouder.
What gift was he surprised with? The player TheReallyBoringOne shared with the Monster Hunter community on Reddit that he encountered a note from his son when he got home. In typically childlike handwriting, you can see in the attached photo that his son is urging him to turn the paper over.
The message on the back made dad incredibly proud:
I defeated three monsters today: Congalala, Balahara, and the Doshaguma. I thought the Congalala would be quite difficult, but it was mainly the Alpha-Doshaguma.
The young gamer is getting better
How did the father react to his son’s success? The player writes that he has been looking forward to sharing his passions with him since the day his son was born. When he was younger, he already tried to defeat the Pukei-Pukei in Monster Hunter: World for the first time, but that was still a bit too much.
However, when he saw the note with his son’s success, the dad was even prouder, as he explained on Reddit: “When I saw it, I was almost in tears. I am proud of his achievement and his perseverance and wanted to share that with a few people who might appreciate it.”
